- For my birthday, I always love to spend the day fishing. This year, we went on my favorite head boat, The Gambler out of Point Pleasant, NJ. We mostly caught Black Sea Bass with a number of other fish mixed in. Lucky for us we were the pool winners as well! It was a beautiful day on the ocean and a very memorable birthday. Please enjoy and let me know if you try the Black Sea Bass Scampi recipe as well!

Party boats are a lot of fun. Not a bad way to spend a birthday! Do you think you did anything that gave you an advantage over other other fishermen in the betting pool, or was hooking the biggest fish pure luck? Also, loving the cooking segment at the end of the video. Only thing better than catchin' is catchin' and cookin'.
Definitely agree, I always try to get one one at least once a year and it's always a fun time. To be completely honest, I think this was just an instance of pure luck and there only being a very small amount of people on the boat lol!
