If anyone sees this video now instead of the power bank and the strap he suggested I'd suggest the kiwi headstrap with the power bank on amazon it helps with the quest being front heavy and makes the whole thing feel light and the power bank lasts for hours

I have air pod pro 2 and the connect to the quest 3 I have I haven’t had any problems
I would absolutely suggest getting a whole new facial interface. I went with one from AMVR, it comes with the actual plastic interface piece which flares out more than the original, is vented for air flow and adjustable. It also includes two different types of pads, lens spacer and a lens cover. The flared out interface fits much better on your face, block light better and even makes the FOV look better. I also went with the Binbok VR T3 Plus head strap. This comes with 2 8000mAh batteries and a dual charger. They are magnetic and snap on the back of the head strap. These two types of accessories are probably the most essential as the stock strap and interface are just terrible.
Do you suffer battery noise?
@@blazingfire90034 I have not noticed any buzzing or humming sounds. One battery in my experience lasts anywhere from 1.5 to 2 hours while keeping the headset charged at 100%. You can then swap to the second battery while the original one charges back up. This is more than enough for me as after 2 hours I need a break anyway.
I use my jabra elite 10 with these, and the latency is not that bad, very usable👍
Hello, mom here who purchased a quest 3 for my son. I’m trying to set everything up for him so when he gets it he can just play. Do I need to set up a game account with them? Is it a membership? Hey, you have to buy a subscription to play games. You can get a subscription that renews every week for $20, or you can get the yearly which is $100 also, if you don’t pay they are legally allowed to blow up your headset with a built-in improvised explosive device since you agreed to the terms and conditions when you bought the headset

I got the Zyber as well but Kiwi just released their version with padding on the back pad. Fit me perfect on the Q2. Zyber was a massive improvement over the stock but Im switching.
if you have a quest 2 strap i think you ca 3d print an adaper (did it with my kiwi headstraps works well)
Also you can get a better tether and charge cord than that! One is the JSUAX Link Cable 16ft. No device hanging from the side of your head!
I just scored a mint barely used Q3 for $250. Now I have money left for accessories. 😁...... I'm coming from an Oculus Go. Glad I went with the 3. I've barely used it yet and it's mind-blowing.
I do not have a Quest 3 at this time, but thank you for all this information on accessories.
Still watching allot of videos on the Quest 3 and which items I want to get for it if I decide to purchase the Quest 3.
I will be doing mostly PCVR SIM racing on STEAM platform and do have a few VR headsets that plug directly into the Display Port. The Quest 3 reviewers say it has great clarity and a nice size sweet spot and does connect via USB with a link cable.

I would improve my elite strap but i got it it for christmas and my parents bought it bundled and i dont wanna go buying a diff strap sense it works fine but if it ever breaks ill definitely consider getting that one
My Bose QuietComfort earbuds work well with the Quest 3. It is kind of an expensive option tho.
Please tell me the neck battery pack comes with an additional battery so you can hot swap them

Games - you will need 150/200 to buy some essential great games to feel good
So the real price of quest 3 is like 1000 euros kindish , but thrust me , worth every single cents , the most fun i had of any device in the past 20 years ( 39 years old here )

Drats; I wanted to get the cable link adapter, in hopes of charging my Quest 3 while watching movies in Skybox VR via a Sandisk extreme portable SSD plugged into the adapter. Too many Amazon reviews say it doesn't charge the Quest 3. As far as the clear shield; I chose the $6 one on TEMU because the center lens cover has a hole for the microphone.
hope i can find an answer here. But i recently bought the new Quest 3S and the lenses are blurry there's glare, is it possible to buy the quest 3 lenses and add them to the 3s or at least the prescription ones?

Nice lightsaber you've got in the background, up against the wall by the door. That's another accessory they need to make, a lightsaber that you can use with the Meta Quest.
There have been 3rd party lightsaber handles for previous meta generations but all the ones for the quest 3 are terrible and dont work at all due to the new way of tracking the controllers.
@@Mr_Ebuh Well they should make lightsabers that work with the quest 3 and that also function as lightsabers that you can use for dueling, cosplay,. ect. And they should make other accessories such as guns that you can use with the quest 3, that way it will actually feel like you're holding and swinging a gun or lightsaber, not just controllers.

VIVE still makes the “deluxe audio strap” which is an incredible head strap for any VR system, it has built-in over-ear headphones 🎧
Order adapters to connect it and plug the headphones into the audio jack
I got the kkcobvr A2 link cable and so far not working hopefully it's defective and I can get a replacement
Also Reading the reviews on ur PC connector everyone with quest 3 is complaining saying it doesnt allow you to charge the quest 3 at the same time ur transfering data? so is that correct u said in the video u can charge and transfer data on ur computer with it.

A question please I bought a 250gb usb flash drive and loaded a lot of movies on to it, I bought a usb a to c converter and plugged them both into the side of the quest 3 but nothing is being detected, oh and to mention I formatted the drive before putting on the movies and I changed it to NTFS for faster file transfer, any tips appreciated thank you...

I just use some wired IEDs for the Quest 3.
I have a pair of Truthear x Crinacle Reds, so the sound quality is better.
I have a pair of low latency buds, but the problem is that the passthrough charging isn't enough to keep up. It interferes with the charging from my 20k mAh PD 3.0 QC 4.0 battery pack.
I use a couple of 10" velcro cinch straps to strap the battery onto the back of a 3rd party elite style strap with a ring style padded back on it, so I can just strap it to the upper part and it's out of the way and well balanced.
I just put the straps behind the padding.
I just fasten the excess cable between the velcro layers so it's out of the way.
Never needs charging, is always attached, and cable management is a non-issue.
At this point just get a pcvr really

That's the big deal about this, not being tethered or having to worry about cable management.
It makes a bigger difference than you'd might expect.
What about controller grips? I've been thinking about getting some.

@@HotshotTek I will check that out. One more question, later in the video you recommended wireless ear buds. I was thinking of the Soundcore VR P10 from Anker BUT upon reading the reviews, I decided against it as I do like to use my link cable from time to time and the dongle that gets inserted into the headset does NOT support data passthrough, only charging. In order to get that to work, one must insert the dongle into the pc first and not the headset. You mentioned that the ones used in the video do allow for link cable usage..is that connected to the headset or is it the same deal where the dongle needs to be plugged into the laptop/desktop? I only ask given I am using a gaming laptop so that large of a space for a dongle on my laptop is just not there.

I just order this BOBOVR S3 Pro Battery Strap Accessories,Head air Conditioning and 10000mah hot-swappable Battery Pack (89USD) strap with battery and a link cable with an adapter built into it for charge while link to pc. so then i did not need this great adapter you show here.. this link cable with adapter on amazine was only 19USD - that adapter you show in video here is about 26USD but no cable expet that short one offcause:)
The 2 great straps i bought on Temu i will put for sale as i can easy make back those 160USD this strap with cable costed me :) /i use airlift 40USD extra so i get speed delivery .. worth it:) dough i had no choise.. was only option lol.

The charging dongle isn’t specified for quest 3? It might be incompatible with the device and damage it.

We’re working on it. just a curve on the headsets, so it’s challenging for us to feel comfortable giving it the green light yet. But it’s close from being done. Just keep an eye on the community post on my UA-cam channel. I’ll let you guys know when it’s all ready and available.

They have link cables that have that port for charging so you only need the link cable and the original charger from the quest 3.

@@dominicisidore I have no idea. I'm not even super gentle when picking it up, and I pick it up from the middle strap that goes over your head. They must be the same people breaking their TV's with the Wii remote back in the day.

Asked on amazon and they said the ear buds don't do data transfer. Power only.

Does the battery neck strap keep the quest 3 charges? Seen some videos where a lot of these solutions don’t keep up with the quest 3’s consumption and the quest still continues to drop in battery life.
Quest 3 uses PD 3.0 and QC 4.0 as its charging standard. This is what the XR2 chip is designed to use.
If you have those two things in a battery pack, it will keep up with the Quest 3's power draw even at high power usage.

Are you sure the earphones plug has data passthrough? I can only change, oculus link doest recognize my headset
if you use a usb c 3.2 gen 2x2 cable to a thunderbolt pc port it will not only pc link but charge at same time through one cable

3rd party notoriously means NOT WELL MADE. So, I have no idea what your statement at the beginning of the video is about. Yes, it usually means it will be a much more affordable option, but not usually a quality option. Although, in the case of VR, I'm finding that 3rd party accessories are pretty good.

I went official with my accesories(elite strap non battery and the knuckle straps) I use an anker 45 watt plug or my baseus 65w or anker 140watt powerbanks) meta themselves recommended to use at least a 45w power source to keep up with the hungry headset

Theres very few things that drive me crazy more than needing a prescription to buy glasses. over the last 20 years my prescription has never changed literally had the same glasses for 15 years, but i need to get permission from my master to buy a piece of glass to see. Only way i can get these glasses insert is to go spend 200$ at the optometrist, so i can order them. No thanks ill just see what i can see and call it good.
Just a heads up, if you’re really friendly, you might could go to one of those places and ask them to “read” the prescription on your lenses. They might could give you a print out of all the numbers you’ll need for when you order your lenses.
I say this, because it’s word for word what I did at Costco opt. Worth a shot if you can put on a really friendly face
