Nice accessories review. However, I want to add that, as a user of the official Quest 3 charging dock, the headset refuses to charge with any kind of extra accessories (silicone or light blocking system) placed on it. I actually just uploaded a video about that issue on my channel. Which is shame though, as I had the whole blue silicone like yours, but had to remove it now to be able to recharge the headset correctly. It seems that you don't have this issue with yours though, from what I can see on your video segment ?...
Everyone who uses the Quest 3 today pretty much knows the battery life isn't that good and the use of an external battery is more than likely something you're going to want to have. With that said, the KIWI Charging Dock with its magnet battery connect doesn't make any sense to me. The last thing I want to do after using my Quest 3 is to have to remove the external battery USB connection to the headset then install the small magnetic USB into the headset... then attach the docking station magnet USB connection to the charging dock. I think this KIWI docking station needs a better solution than it currently uses to charge the battery. For me, it's less of a hassle to simply plug the USB charging cable into my external battery on the headset itself and have the charging done to both the Quest headset and the external battery at the same time. Maybe even use those magnetic clips on the external battery on the headstrap one day as well.
Wow thank you so much! I’ve been thinking about buying a quest 3 for a while now and now that I’ve save up enough I’m going to get one. I’ll make sure to get these accessories, keep up the good work 👍👍👍
another perk from the backpack looking case is that since it resembles a simple backpack and not a perfectly shaped case that looks like a quest is that you are less likely to be targeted by robbers who most likely knows what would be inside the official meta case.
The newest bobo is the best strap n battery now. Faster charge n 10000mah battery plus got a fan too for some reason lol. Just released like a week or so ago so it finally got an official q3 one. Old ones were just q2s with upgraded rails for the q3.
For the headstrap you recommended with the battery pack that can actually charge the headset as you play, does this actually damage the Quest 3’s actual battery? With it being used and charging, wouldn’t that in the long run be more damaging to the battery than the BoboVR ones that just keep it at its charge, or even slow it down? Would it be a better option for maintaining the life of the battery? I have no clue, so I’m just wondering. I would like to get that one over the BoboVR one if it’s not going to cause any long-term damage. If anyone knows, please let me know.
I always use battery packs which don't charge internal Quest battery, keeping battery at 100% charge destroys it over time, it can event bloat and destroy other components.
Do you recommend the charging dock from meta that will charge controllers or is it better to replace batteries? Wondering about over heating controllers when on dock
Insane video loved it! Got my quest 3 and I didn't get the cable because my pc does not have a type c connection. Are there any link cables you'd recommend?
you know for the travel case its as easy as using a prying tool to fix the zipper or take it to a tailor at a dry cleaner and have them fix the zipper on the case...
One thing with the Kiwi dock, they also have a bundle with their battery strap. and it does magnetic charging at the same time to both battery strap and quest headset. its great, i grabbed it for my Q3.
Have you tried the BoboVR S3 Pro? I think it might be a better product than what you reviewed here. It's more expensive but every other VR UA-camr swears by it as the best.
Check put my video on the 26000mah power bank I use. I can game for up to 9hours. I usually tire out by hour 4. But I can continue using the next day or two without having to recharge.
definitely dont get those camera lense protectors, a LOT of people had shitty ones and we all know those all come from the same factory, its just an unneeded gamble, better off taking ones that actually have proper adhesive
I keep mine in the box with the sleeve on it for over 2 months sooooo. Maybe you need to be more careful with your 500 dollars 😂 you would so get robbed in newyork
Something to note, there is a reason it dies in 2 hours, its not safe to wear it for so long, its for people who dont know when to take a break it will force you when the batt dies. Extending the battery life I feel like tht defeats the purpose for that reason. I mean for people who will take breaks I see no harm but alot wont. Im about to buy it anyway lol id like to think I will have some restraint. I hope so lol
Couldn't see the video. Half the screen was covered with an advertisement for the quest three which I own. That's why I'm watching the video. Also tech channel buy a lavalier man

Just a quick fyi..The "nipples" are actually called "feet" in handbag and luggage accessories.

Does the VRWave reduce the FOV compared to the ones Meta partnered with because they’re magnetic and adds another layer? Or are they great?

Do you have a part number for the backpack travel case? And will it fit with a bobo 73 head strap? Thank you

what about headphones or earbuds? whats your thoughts on that?
Is the syntach band compatable with Q3? The website says Q2

😂 wait, your kidding right. Did no one tell buddy the velcro straps are supposed go together and not stick to the bottom of the bag separately?
Controllers slip off through the one giant loop. Maybe on the quest 2 controller it would work but not on the 3 for those who want to know.
Great vid! I went with Bobovr based on the Q2 reviews, but battery life has been a real challenge. I'll consider checking out this battery bank
just got my quest 3 looking forward to tricking it out thanks

i need the link for the facial interface

Yoooo ! That carrot was HUGE !
The Aubika Battery Head Strap So Far Is The Best!
Have you seen/heard about the Oblik facial interface? Can u do a review of it? It’s a custom made facial interface
Have you tried the BoboVR S3 Pro? I think it might be a better product than what you reviewed here. It's more expensive but every other VR UA-camr swears by it as the best.
No intro, pretty refreshing
Glad you like it!
get the BOBOVR C2 Carrying Case it will fit your vr
Dude dont know how velcro works
Okay, Einstein, tell us how it works.
Einstein doesn't know how to use punctuation either, so I'm doubtful he knows how velcro works. @geoffwyatt3991
Velcro (as you know) works with two strips. One has tiny loops on it and the other has tiny little hooks
On August 3 1973 William Velcro actually called it hook and loop for the first time!!🎉
Hooks and hole👍

I tried the recommended lens covers. They fell off less than a week later.
Syntech is not responsive after I ordered on their website

Yo man, i will never buy any official accessories from meta again. It all breaks!
Second comment also love the video!
Also: is the power pod hot swappable?
No, it’s not hot swappable like the Bobo VR but this one is double the battery size. So it make up for that feature.
Thanks!
Carry bag is ?%$#% legit!
I keep mine in the box with the sleeve on it for over 2 months sooooo. Maybe you need to be more careful with your 500 dollars 😂 you would so get robbed in newyork
