    The coolest and cruelest part of learning guitar is that many great guitarists use alternate tunings that are not that obvious to novice ears . Excellent video Brother!

      Yeah-often when I try to figure out something in an alternate tuning I don't know about it, and break my fingers trying to get the right voicing! Haha!

    When i first started playing the guitar your video was one of the first i watched. It was actually one of the first songs i tried to learn but was too difficult back then (never picked up a guitar before) I just loved the tone and wanted to sound like in your video. Over the years i practiced a lot, got better and better and what once seemed impossible for me is much easier today. Wishing you nice holidays!

      Yeah-I tried learning it in standard tuning at first and it was tough. Once I got the tuning it was much easier.

    You can actually leave the e and b string in standard tuning, which is good in case you're worried about breaking. Great sound though

      @@prw139 So my Strat is very normal and super easy. Like a Suhr. But my Anderson Tele has a baseball bat neck. Maybe like an early tele. It was weird at first but now I like it!

      @@alextavera741 Hey alex! Looks like I have heavy compression, a /13 JRT9/15 (Michael Britt free amp!) a 1/4 note dotted 1/8th delay at 38% and a hall verb at 40%

      Haha. I actually had a student while I was in a lesson teaching him how to change a classical string get hit in the eye w the string and nicked his eye. Very painful-so be careful!!! (-:
