Totally... I was thinking the exact same thing... everytime she had a story to tell and I couldn't wait to hear it, Maher would just bulldoze on top of her and tell us about his thoughts on ... whatever. I really wish he could control himself. Lawrence Krauss, incidentally, does the same thing.

1:23.00 No Katie - anti-elitism is not based on jealousy - its based on fear and anger. Fear that everything is being taken from us. Our jobs, our faith, our liberty , our children, our way of life. Anger that it is being purposely done by corrupt, immoral, hypocritical people who for example want to travel in luxury in their gas powered private planes and limousines while at the same time limiting our freedom of movement and property rights because they are offended by our stench and uncouthness and prefer that we not inhabit their spaces. So no - the divide it not a function of our "jealousy" it is a function of your anti-human arrogance. "Let them eat cake" famous last words.

There are shitheads in every aspect of society. Define what elite means to you. There are successful people who have busted their ass to get where they are. Generally speaking, there are a lot of people who are miserable, and it has to be something or someone else's fault. It can't be the mentality of the one making the claims. It's not a function of jealousy and it's not anti-human arrogance. It's a total inability to take ownership of one's misery and failures. I'm not a Katie Couric fan but I will say there's a vast difference between arrogance and confidence combined with busting your ass. She had a great career, she worked for NBC, CNN, CBS, and ABC, had her own talk show, was a correspondent on 60 Minutes, wrote a New York Times best seller, and was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame. She went to public schools, was an intern in Washington D.C. at WAVA radio, went to the University of Virginia, was a Delta Delta Delta sorority sister. The list goes on and on. You’re right, what a lazy, arrogant loser!

In March of this year, I read an article in a local Northern Kentucky publication which was explaining the labor shortage in our region. The article was detailing how the local economy has suffered since before the pandemic with a shrinkage of the work-age population. It stated statistics of wages, affordable housing, education, and overall livability in our region and the importance of attracting people to Northern Kentucky in order to mitigate the labor shortage across nearly all sectors of the economy. It also spoke to the importance of immigration in combating the labor shortage. That is when I had an epiphany. The pro-life movement is funded not by the religious right, but by the 1% in order to have enough workers to maintain their wealth and control over the economy.
It all began to make sense to me. Since I was a child, I never could understand how christian churches could logically say that they were pro-life if they had no desire to actually help take care of a child after it is born. The very same conservative voices who cry about the tragedy of unborn babies being murdered are the same who deny school children lunches if their parents can't afford it because the taxpayers shouldn't have to foot the bill for kids whose parents can't afford them. Again and again, the same logic is used in this debate whether it is about medical care, housing, education, or child care. Conservatives want babies born, but after that, they are not interested in the outcome of the child's life.
As we are now entering the later months of the presidential election year, more and more attention is being focused on the stripping away of women's rights. Abortion is not murder, it is healthcare. And a threat to those who need workers to exploit in order to make a profit. The labor shortage is the real motivation behind the pro-life movement. This is a cult. And the whole country is its victim. We are being force fed this idea that evangelical christians are the innovators of this movement. I believe they are simply the most easily manipulated portion of the population that is already conditioned not to question authority and exist in a vacuum of fantasy and delusions of grandeur.
Freedom can not exist in a society in which half of the population is forced by law to succumb to the will of a minority group whose only intention is control and dominance. I know that if the money trail is properly investigated, it will prove this connection between the industrialists and pro-life activists. The American people deserve to know the truth of the enemy that we are facing now. It is not overly zealous religious people. They are merely pawns in this game. An easy scapegoat that the powerful can manipulate and use as a barrier to protect themselves. I do not have proof of the statements that I have made, but I do believe that it can be found. We need to expose the true thieves of our freedom....by following the money. S.F.

@@michellemonet4358 Thanks for responding. My best guess is that this matrilineal thing is a tool in one's tool chest. Use it when handy: "Why, yes, I am Jewish," or discard it when yet another pogrom is underway: "Nope. Not me. I'm not Jewish."

Hey Bill, its the likability factor that gets people canceled. Once the public decides they dont like you, it doesnt matter if they've been exonerated. Showbiz is a privilege. The people decide what they want to spend their time & money on. Woody & Louis CK may have gotten a raw deal, but the only solution is to find some other way to get the public to like them again. Good luck with that. Although occasionally misguided, most people really enjoy not liking pedophiles or perverts. Most people dont enjoy being proven incorrect either, so the truth is sometimes besides the point. If they dont wanna like ya, they wont.

Is Woody even guilty of wrongdoing though? Louis ck is pretty much back to business at this point

Woody is 100% guilty of molesting 2 of Mia Farrows children. Watch the MAX documentary Allen vs. Farrow. It is thorough. All the evidence is revealed. Just one for example: Woody refuses to answer where he was for 20 minutes. Total guilty rich scum who got away with his crime

Bill, would you let Katie get a word in, complete her thoughts, and initiate a topic without interrupting her? Geez!!

Jesus Christ!!!!! Does Bill watch these interviews afterwards and see that he never lets anyone finish a sentence??? He’s a very smart guy. How can he be so oblivious?

@1:15:36 Bill finally shuts up. Katie tries to talk. Bill proceeds to tell us what he thinks, AGAIN.
Bill, I hear you talking about shutting up in this one... Get a big red sign.
Coric's smart and interesting, and it's nice to listen to her.
We all kind of know what you think already and that's why we're here! Shut up! STFU and listen! DAMN

Katie Couric is such a seasoned journalist. I love how she kept her poker face when Bill drifted off into discussing masturbation and when he seemed to defend men who get aroused by looking at grown women who dress in anklets and Mary Janes. Just the facts, ma'am, with no judgements - LOL!
