    For a beginner, first cut out all snacks between meals; eat breakfast, lunch, dinner only; after a while then extend your time to eat first meal of the day, eventually try to not eat till 11 am-noon. Then try for two meals per day only with an 8, 6, or 4 hour window to eat both meals. Listen to your body how long you can last. Eat protein to keep you full till the next meal. This is the basic beginning. Cut out seed oils, carbs, sugars. IF works.
