Thank you Dr Pal. Intermittent fasting has helped me a lot. I don't get acid reflux, acidity problems since I am following IF. Thanks to you. I became greedy and tried 5 hours eating and 19 hours fasting one day. My God!! I went to depression that day thinking of food! That day it was a lesson to me that everything need to be balanced and no extremes. I follow 9 hours eating 15 hours fasting without any difficulty. During eating period I am conscious about what I eat and I sometimes, only sometimes, be liberal and enjoy delicious food, and it's really relishing when we do this sometimes. Thank you Dr Pal for bringing this discipline to our lives. Lots of Love ❤

Doing even 1 day fast is no less than an achievement for me. Looking for more extended hrs of fasting in future. Thankyou Dr. Pal for all the information you share with us! ❤
Couple of questions: 1. Should we follow the same timing everyday 2. I eat sometimes at 5:30, some days by 6.30, during weekends by 8 pm. But what I follow is to have 12 he window next morning and break it by drinking one glass of warm water. Is the is right? 3. Breakfast by 8.30 am, lunch by 1.30 pm, dinner by 6.30 or 6. Is this window fine?
Well my mom is 48 yrs old obese with blood sugar 200/156 which means she is diabetic. She has started the 12:12 IF for now 8am-8pm. She had a sedentary lifestyle for last couple of years so, now I'm talking to her about morning walks.Lets see where this goes from here.
Maintaining 10 hours eating window form August 2nd 23… for the first time in last 10 years, my AST, ALT, TG, LDL are absolutely normal. No workout done during this period. I’m really stunned…. Thanks Dr. P. Shared your channel to my friends and family.

Hi Doc. Been on intermittent fasting for around 1 year. Sleep improved.. staying active improved, Cellulites reduced, weight lost 5 kg. But sorry to say taking everything in my eating window.. need to flow the advice in this video. Thanks a lot.
This Gem of a Man also called "GUT Man" has made so many videos by taking his time out to educate people. Heartful thanks to you Dr Pal. Thanks a lot. Have a blessed day. Namasthe.
I have started Dixit diet plan - eat only two times a day since Jan 1 - my new year resolution. I couldn't follow it for a week in these 40 days. Even then my weight is down by 3 kg - from 68 to 65. I am following the timing 7-11, i.e. first meal of day at 11 am and last meal before 7pm. This gives me 16 hours of fasting every day which is hopefully achieving autophagy. Now after a couple of months, my next step would be 3 days of water fasting every month. I know that's very difficult but will start with just 1 day initially, then 2 and then 3 as I get comfortable with each step. I am actually enjoying this process. I thank doctors like Dr. Dixit and Dr. Pal who are guiding us without expecting anything in return. God Bless You. And I actually became health conscious because lipid test in December last week showed that I have borderline high Cholesterol and Triglycerides. I searched a lot on YT and finally having everyday a juice of 2 tomatoes, 2 cloves of garlic and ginger. I hope this also helps someone who reads this.
i have stopped eating after 6 pm and then eat my breakfast at 9:30 and it has only been a week and i have lost 1 kg weight,i sleep better, my gerd has reduced,i can concentrate better and now i dont even have cravings. this intermittent fasting is an amazing thing.
Me and my family starting intermitted fasting from this week I tried so many diet but can't do continuously When I see your vedio I have a motivation Thank you doctor ❤
Point 2 must be the ultimate reason as many still under the belief that calories don't matter in fasting and can eat as much as they want as long as fasting happens .
Thanks to doctor Dr. Paul we followed through.I lost up to 6kg..almost 3 years later the weight is coming down. We were very happy to see this. Appreciate your service..
Finally I am adjusting my window 9pm to 1pm. No tea coffee before lunch just water with lemon slices. Eat lunch and dinner and 3pm green tea. Thank you for tips Doc. No no for snacks. And I am careful with my calories and protein intake as well.

Yes, have cut short the calories and eating window drastically. With even three wedding meals in two days, the weight fluctuates, increases and goes back. Useful tips to correct. Let me try these out and weigh again three months from today. Thanks
Hi Dr, My 20 years of stubborn muscles have started relaxing -Started IMF from Nov 7th - 8.30pm to 7am fasting window, ½ cup coffee during the day 4 to 5 times (coffee addict I am). 1-2 cheat days are there. I have not done any dieting or fasting, as I will get shivers if I don’t eat on time. Walking, gym, yoga is halfway left attempts so far. After watching your video, I started to train my brain that I can withstand hunger even for 2 days with my body fat!! Initial 2-3 days in the night it was a bit tough but the water supported me very well. The results are amazing. I am able to wear my watch, ring, bend my body and touch my feet, stomach pain came down, the list is long…. I stopped taking medicines for my small ailments which were my daily issues. I just wanted to share this with you and also the people who follow the IMF, as I am benefitting a lot from this. Though I go to bed at 10 pm I don’t get proper sleep that is my only issue now. As you said in today's video, I felt that the initial 10 hours of fasting could be improved to 12, 14 hours gradually. I am confident that I can reach the 16 hours fasting window soon. Thank you, Dr.
Hello doctor, I watched your videos and started intermittent fasting from January 1 st. It’s going good. But I have a question. I usually take a spoonful of homemade powder of omam, Karunjeeragam and vendhayam just before bed. Is it ok to take it when I’m doing fasting? Please reply me . Thanks

Doc! Please address constipation in your next video. You are the right person to answer this question. Though I take a large amount of fiber in my food I face constipation often , in turn it requires laxative/ stool softener to regulate it again.. please please address this problem
I love intermittent fasting. It helps me regulate my hormones while trying to get pregnant and maintain my BMI. However, yesterday I made a mistake. I hadn't defecated for three days straight, so I forced myself, which caused a lot of bleeding. It was entirely my fault. I got so so scared. From now on, I will not force it. Need to update my knowledge on this while continuing intermittent fasting.

Thank you Dr.Pal for your guidance. I am following 11-12 hours eating window between 7:30 am - 7 pm. I have few questions 1) I drink black coffee (no sugar) and taking that be considered inside the eating window? 2) I am walking outside and treadmill after 7 pm dinner. What are our thoughts? Do I need to walk before the dinner or after dinner? Thanks for your help again
Not drinking enough water is my mistake. Worst hydration in latest days, knowing the fact 3 litres of water intake is very important to health. Being lazy, I should overcome this.
Hi dr .. I have been following your channel for couple of months now.. your videos on IF is a real Eye opener and I have been following IF since three weeks .. initially I started with 12 hrs and gradually I have increased to 16 hrs of fasting with 8 hrs of eating window … I have my first bite by 10 am and I finish my last bite by 6 pm sharp .. I feel lot more energetic and feel very healthy .. I have bP and have been taking cilogard 10 mg for past two months …. I have chia seed pudding with almonds and fruits by 10 am .. I have skipped sugar altogether.. I am fond of coffee so I try to take it without sugar .. limited to three cups during my eating window .. I drink lot of water 2 to 3 litres . I skip carbs limited to less than 50 grams most of the time and try to take protein and low fat foods .. evening before commencing my fast I try to have bowl of fruits with some chicken / or egg white / or fish or paneer … some time I also have spinach soup with my last bite … I am planning to have this 16 hrs fast for next 6 weeeks… I am comfortable with this time and I am feeling much light and I don’t feel hungry at all .. I try to take only water during fasting period … pls advise dr .. your inputs are really motivating … I am trying to incorporate walking 10 thousand steps everyday .. will update you on the same too .. thanks

I do an hour of exercise in the morning and being vegetarian, take protein powder. Have whey protein. Our Gym instructor recommends us to take protein powder immediately after exercise which I am not following to follow fasting window. 7 pm to 9 am fasting window. Take night tablets during fasting window Natarajan Mumbai

The mistake I am doing is in the morning I will tell myself I will eat now and stop my window early. In the evening I tell myself I will eat now and start my window late. Dr. Pal! Please help with some tip to change this mindset.
An year ago I was a pro in intermittent fasting and I never felt better in my life. I was able to do 20 hours fasting and zero cravings. I was very healthy and felt good. I have fallen off track when we went on vacation and since then I have been struggling to get back on track to at least do 14 hours fast a day. It's been an year. Another vacation is coming soon but I coudlnt go back on track. Every day this mentality of cheating my own mind that I will stop eating early in the evening and eating in the evening and telling myself that I will eat late in the morning and eating ahead of what o thought. Basically from a very well disciplined routine to lack of motivation mindset is wrecking my mind and body. How to get back on track once we fall off of it?
Hi dr pal. I started OMAD since 2 months but i always checked my weight daily and sometimes i would have gained weight even when i ate with calorie deficit. So i would feel unmotivated and would quit regularly. But after following what you said to not check the weight on a daily basis I feel less stressed about what weight i would be the next day. Now i am checking it every 2 weeks which gives me good results and i feel happier. Thank you doc

Guess I'm not drinking enough water. Thanks for the reminder. I've just about started IMF again, after giving it up earlier. A problem I face is, I burp a lot post 6pm, kinda continuously. Why is this? Would appreciate some light on this. Thanks Dr. Pal.
Sir I'm maintaining 8 hrs window for our 90 days challenge.. my first meal is fruits , second is jawar bhakri and sabji, third is salad.. I'm doing this from last 10 days .. and wanted to do this till 31 December.. and I will continue this as much as I can do.. I know eating after sunset it's poision for health.
Superb doc.. I was expecting this explanation only .. As u said I used to have food and in between breaks some fruits or nuts will go .. but lovely explanation thank you sooo much ..
I have a question: I eat from 5:30 to 6:00 PM, but in the morning I wake up at 4:00 AM. Then I go to the gym/swimming and by 5:30 I have moringa water and post-workout I have an almond protein drink. My actual breakfast I have at 9:00 AM is only fruits. So by now, I am very very hungry. Now my question Q1: Drinking 1st drink at 5:30AM, am I breaking my fast? Am I doing intermittent fasting then? Or breaking it in 12 hours due to the drink? What can I do here? Q2: I am doing 15 hours of fasting now (not considering a drink as a breaking fast), but at times I get a headache for a while and am too hungry. So should I eat when too hungry? or when I have a headache? How can I increase my window to 18 hours with this?
Answer Q1- yes you are breaking fast by drinking almond protein drink Q2-i too get hungry during the process of intermittent fasting, especially when you are not engaging yourself to other work and have plenty of leisure time. The only way I found easy was to engage yourself in other activities

Couple of questions:
1. Should we follow the same timing everyday

Please address relation between thyroid and time restricted eating in ur next video DR.PAL
i have stopped eating after 6 pm and then eat my breakfast at 9:30 and it has only been a week and i have lost 1 kg weight,i sleep better, my gerd has reduced,i can concentrate better and now i dont even have cravings. this intermittent fasting is an amazing thing.
Me and my family starting intermitted fasting from this week
I tried so many diet but can't do continuously
When I see your vedio I have
a motivation
Thank you doctor ❤
Pls change your dinner timings as insulin graph falls after 7pm it's difficult for the body to digest the food after 7pm
Thanks Chirayush
So could you please share if you have been successful in losing weight- if you don’t mind sharing😊

weight change is a gradual process, please give it some time
Thank you very much for reply
Yes, have cut short the calories and eating window drastically. With even three wedding meals in two days, the weight fluctuates, increases and goes back.
Useful tips to correct. Let me try these out and weigh again three months from today.
Thanks
It's a good practice.
Grade 1 Fatty Liver has gone with 1 month of intermittent Fasting.
Hi Dr,
My 20 years of stubborn muscles have started relaxing -Started IMF from Nov 7th - 8.30pm to 7am fasting window, ½ cup coffee during the day 4 to 5 times (coffee addict I am).
I am so happy for you, please continue with your good work :)
Thanks

You remained me again and again how to continue intermittent fasting perfectly.. I am just following right way what you said 👍🙏🏻🙏🏻💐💐tq Sir 🙏🏻💐
Wonderful!
Doc! Please address constipation in your next video. You are the right person to answer this question. Though I take a large amount of fiber in my food I face constipation often , in turn it requires laxative/ stool softener to regulate it again.. please please address this problem
Yes same thing happens to me when I cut down on carbs and intake is less.
Do you have diabetes... Try amla juice ( 3 amla, 1 piece of ginger, 1 glass water)
You can take thripala powder or kadukai powder with warm water before going to sleep. This will help you overcome constipation
Take more fibre rich vegetables
Yes
I love intermittent fasting. It helps me regulate my hormones while trying to get pregnant and maintain my BMI. However, yesterday I made a mistake. I hadn't defecated for three days straight, so I forced myself, which caused a lot of bleeding. It was entirely my fault. I got so so scared. From now on, I will not force it. Need to update my knowledge on this while continuing intermittent fasting.
Hello doctor, Iam big fan of you. I started intermittent fasting for 16 hours. I can see the difference; I recommend my friend too follow the intermittent fasting diet. It is really helpful for us. Good doctor, if I don’t smoke a joint I can’t sleep at night. I feel I need to stop this but I can’t . Other than that I do a 14 hour intermittent fasting everyday and quite healthy. Om Namah Shivaya !!
Thank you Dr.Pal for your guidance. I am following 11-12 hours eating window between 7:30 am - 7 pm. I have few questions
1) I drink black coffee (no sugar) and taking that be considered inside the eating window?
2) I am walking outside and treadmill after 7 pm dinner. What are our thoughts? Do I need to walk before the dinner or after dinner?
Thanks for your help again
Thank you Dr pal. Your videos are so informative. The mistake am making is eating too much calories in eating window
Not drinking enough water is my mistake.
Worst hydration in latest days, knowing the fact 3 litres of water intake is very important to health.
Being lazy, I should overcome this.
Hi dr .. I have been following your channel for couple of months now.. your videos on IF is a real
Eye opener and I have been following IF since three weeks .. initially I started with 12 hrs and gradually I have increased to 16 hrs of fasting with 8 hrs of eating window … I have my first bite by 10 am and I finish my last bite by 6 pm sharp .. I try to take only water during fasting period … pls advise dr .. your inputs are really motivating … I am trying to incorporate walking 10 thousand steps everyday .. will update you on the same too .. thanks

It’s been almost 90 days since I commenced IF.. I am still continuing with 16 hrs of fasting everyday .

Stress is main problem doctor . Other things i am following easily
The common mistake I do is , I take dual role ; Sometimes I practice Weight loss program; Often times I become your friend Saravana Kumar who had gone into my sub conscious and be adamant ; Controlling him is too much for me ; I can not resist his buffet needs ; My program follow sine rhythm instead of flat ;
today is my first day of intermintent fasting. This 2025 is my year and i will never ever quit
only eating for 8 hours

I have a question:
I eat from 5:30 to 6:00 PM, but in the morning I wake up at 4:00 AM.
Then I go to the gym/swimming and by 5:30 I have moringa water and post-workout I have an almond protein drink.
My actual breakfast I have at 9:00 AM is only fruits. So by now, I am very very hungry.
Now my question
Q1: Drinking 1st drink at 5:30AM, am I breaking my fast? Am I doing intermittent fasting then?
Or breaking it in 12 hours due to the drink?
What can I do here?
Q2: I am doing 15 hours of fasting now (not considering a drink as a breaking fast), but at times I get a headache for a while and am too hungry.
So should I eat when too hungry? or when I have a headache? How can I increase my window to 18 hours with this?
Answer
Q1- yes you are breaking fast by drinking almond protein drink
Q2-i too get hungry during the process of intermittent fasting, especially when you are not engaging yourself to other work and have plenty of leisure time. The only way I found easy was to engage yourself in other activities
As far as your headache is considered get a routine checkup with physician
