- So I got in a bottle of Australian Floetrol and wanted to see exactly how different it was from what I normally like to swipe with which is Elmer's School Glue and Water. The results of the test blew mind!
--Recipes---
My pouring medium recipe is 70% Elmers School Glue and 30% water
All paints were mixed with approx' 1pt paint to 2pts pouring medium
The Swipe color was mixed 1prt paint (Amsterdam Oxide Black) to 3prts School glue pouring medium
The Aussie Floetrol Swipe color (Amsterdam Oxide Black) 1prt to 3prts Aussie Floetrol
MiX colors were mix 7prts MiX pouring medium to 1prt Paint

Luvz n Hugz Y'all! 🥰💕
That was really interesting Julie! The results were so amazing. You cracked me up when you said to shake the school glue up "to the point of insanity"!🤣😂
I'm so happy you enjoyed this and that I made you smile!🥰💕
This is my kind of experiement Julie!
So glad you enjoyed it! 🙏🥰💕
so glad you showed us the results, I agree with Sparkie I think that painting looks like a rain forest, so calm. i like the bigger cells
Thanks Mary-Lou 🥰💕
I’ve never used school glue or Mix, nor have I used Aussie floetrol. Thanks for the experiment!
Thanks Gloria!💕
Would love to see you try it with American Floetrol.
I will definitely give it go! Thanks so much Kathy🙏💕
So cool, love experiment videos like this. 🤗❤ I'm going to try this with school glue asap. Thank you ❤
Thanks Tish! So glad you enjoyed it!🥰💕
@@ArtByJulieE 💗💗💗🤗🤗
Very cool. I was not expecting results like that. Looks like the school glue is just as good as the Aussie Floetrol.
That's exactly what I saw infront of me. I was in disbelief when I tried it across the MiX pm colors! Thanks for watching Mishelle🥰💕
Thanks for experimenting Julie. Just got some Aussie Floetrol too. 😊
Thanks Deb!🥰💕
Awesome ,very friend😃😃👍👍👍👍👍❤️....
Thank you 🥰💕
Beautiful Julie 😍 I don't blame you. I only use mine for bloom recipe.
Thanks Mandy 🥰💕
Hi, Julie!! Boy, what an informative video. I really expected the Aussie Floetrol to be more productive than the school glue and SURPRISE!! It wasn't. I liked the shapes/sizes of the school glue cells much better than the Floetrol. Thanks for posting this experiment. Extremely helpful!!!
Thanks Linda! I was bit shocked too!🥰💕
I know!! We were echoing each other with the "Oh WOW" reactions. Kindred spirits!!!
Mina sent me. Super experiment! Entertaining and informative.
Thanks Jeanne! So happy you enjoyed it!🥰💕
E joyed the comparison! Thanks Julie
Thank you Rochelle 🥰💕
Thanks so much for this Julie - it's so encouraging. I'll have to try this with my bog-standard UK white PVA glue as even Glue-All is a little expensive here. Fingers crossed.
Thanks for watching, I'd love to know how your pva tests turn out over there! 🥰💕
@@ArtByJulieE I'll let you know 😘💖
I'm so thankful for your test! ❤ I'm from the Netherlands and also mix my paint with the school Glue. And was looking for a easy CA. I'm stil learning and hope that I get a good result soon😊
Aww thank you so much Juana, I'm so glad I could help. Wishing you much success 🙏🥰💕
Great experiment mad scientist Julie!! Thanks 😃
Thanks so much Denise 🥰💕
That was a great experiment! I've wondered about the differences! Thanks so much!!
Thanks so much!🥰💕
Crazy Crazy.... Okay Julie, I will be switching from Glue-All to School Glue. You have convinced me to use that instead..... Thank you Thank you Julie.
Thanks Shannon! 🥰💕 Yeah, I can get 4 gallons of just the School Glue for what I paid for that tiny bottle of Australian Floetrol.
@@ArtByJulieE I'm glad you did this. I have been eye balling that Aussie stuff for a while, but the cost is CRAZY!. Now I don't even want it... Off to see if I have some School Glue in the house (that's if Justine hasn't used it all on Slime lol ). Thank you so much 😁
Great experiment Julie!
Thank you Elisa!🥰💕
I enjoyed this experiment Julie. I’ll have to try this instead of the Aussie Floetrol for Bloom!!
Thanks Shelli! I'd love to know your results on the bloom!🥰💕
Tx for this video. Just beautiful. I learned a lot.❤💚💜💙💛
Thank you 💕
Thank you for sharing your wonderful experiments! 🤩
Thanks for watching Cynthia 🥰💕
Wooo..Julie E!,,
Thank you Julie very informative
Thank you Donna🥰💕
What is your white base? On the bottle you wrote AL FW / SG. I think I heard Artist's Loft White and School Glue pouring medium?
Artist loft Flow White with School Glue pouring medium 💕
Awesome
Thanks Moe!🥰💕
Great experiment, saving us money tysm
You're so welcome and Thank you for watching!🥰💕
Very interesting results!
Thanks Karen 🥰💕
Wow... you just saved me a ton ‘o dollars! Thank you for testing this for us! ... btw, that lil bottle of Aussie floetrol is so flippin cute! Lol
Thanks Janese! I cracked up laughing when I opened the box and saw how small it was!🤣💕 I was absolutely stunned and thrilled when the school glue cell activator worked on top of the MiX pouring medium!! I'm so happy you enjoyed it!🙏🥰💕
Thanks for testing and sharing minewax wood conditioner 6 drops to oz of floetrol will make Aussie flotreol I wonder if you can use clear glue to
Thanks Sarah 🥰💕
What is the pouring medium used for the Elmer's glue solution?
I'm not sure I understand the question, but recipes for everything are in the description of the video. Look where it says more, after the title of the video and click on that 💕
Elmer's glue is PVA, $30.00 a gallon at the hardware store. Mix 70% glue with 30% water. Done. That is your pouring medium.
Hello thank you for the experiment very interesting do you add anything to your other paints 😃
Thanks for watching!🥰💕 No, the paints are just the pouring medium and paints. I do however seem to get the best results using Arteza Pearl Paints 💕
I luv experiments Julie is playing mad scientist 😂😹 save your money 💵 for more paints 😊💕✌🏼
Yes, I love saving money! Thanks for watching Gina 🥰💕
What's the difference between the school glue and the glue all? I've only ever heard people say to use the glue all.
I've used Elmer's School since I started pouring, I've tried the Glue All and I don't like it. For myself I find it mixes to thin and doesn't give me the effects that I like. Thanks for watching Amy!🥰💕
Lol awesome!
Thank you 💕
Missed you tonight. That floetrol is way expensive. It’s apparently best for blooms although I’ve seen lots of recipes that work without that Aussie floetrol.
You can make your own Aussie floretol
Yep, that little bottle cost a pretty penny! Sorry, it was uploaded late. We were having trouble with the PC yesterday and today, but I think all the bugs are worked out now! Thanks for watching!😍💕
JINX! You owe me a beer! We said “WOW” at the same time. How long did you have to wait for the AF? Do you ever put GAC 800 in your PM? And if so, what ratio? Where do you get the Mix?
Where do you get the Mix?
Email the owner and let her know Julie sent you...Krista8974@gmail.com
The Aussie Floetrol took a week, I ordered it from Pixel Paint Designs. I do own GAC 800 and 900, but rarely ever use it, if I do I usually don't measure, I'll just give a color a small squirt. Thanks for watching Kim!🥰💕
Video so nice
I love your video
Good job
Nhh
Thank you 💕
Love this!! Do you think Glue All will work as good as the school Glue?
Thanks Cher!🥰💕 I don't get the same effects with glue all as I do with school glue.
@@ArtByJulieE Thank you! Good to know, now I’m off to buy School Glue tomorrow.. Thank you!!
I’ve seen a couple people comment that their pours yellowed after using school glue vs Glue All. Has that happened to you?
Thanks for watching Kathy!🥰💕 I have not had one painting yellow in the 3yrs I've been using it and some have white bases, are unvarnished and hanging in my living room. Can it happen? There's always the possibility. Have I ever seen it happen? No. 💕
Hmm, looks like maybe I don't need to take out a second mortgage to keep myself in Aussie Floetrol lol
Right!?! 🤣 I was delighted, in disbelief and upset by how much I spent all at the same moment!🤣🥰💕
What the heck did she spread on at first that white stuff all over?
It's just a white base coat of paint
Can you use Elmers glue all the clear glue, instead of school glue, thank you in advance 😉
Thanks for watching Leah! I do have some Elmer's Glue All laying around here but no Clear PVA. What brand of Clear PVA are you interested in seeing?💕
It's Elmer's Clear Glue all, not PVA, that I was asking about. I see you use Elmer's School glue, I have brought the Clear glue all.....is it the same?
@@2212Polly no unfortunately they are different.
HeHeHeHe I Knew THe Floetrol would work!!!!
Thanks Sue!🥰💕 Kicker is that tiny bottle was over $40.00 here and I can buy 4 gallons of School for that and get the same results!
@@ArtByJulieE That tiny Bottle Here is around $25 here which is about the same price in US. But I buy the 4ltr bottle! Cheaper in bulk!
But Thank You For the new Tech Now I want to have a go!
