- I owe a huge thank you to Maria from Florida who gifted me with a bottle of Australian Floetrol! Thank you, thank you, thank you Maria! I'm excited to see what all I can do with it. This is my first painting with it. I'm not into the bloom, but I really enjoy swipes, especially when they serve as a background for one of my embellishments. This isn't perfect, but I learned a lot from it. Recipe and details are listed below.

Today's Colors: Liquitex Fluid Acrylic in Black for base. Mixed 70% American Floetrol and 30% Liquitex Pouring Medium. plus a little (maybe 5%) water to thin. Then 5 parts of this PM to 1 part of the fluid paint. I mixed the Fluid Gold the same way. The other colors were sitting on my table and were probably mixed 2:1 with American Floetrol. Might have had a better result with the same PM as the base. Next time!

🤣😂🤣😂🤣Its not fair, I LIVE in Oz and used Floetrol all the time and never ever ever got one cell!!!
I've said in the past and still say its the white paint because it sure ain't no Floetrol Ive ever used...in fact its in every paint store for painters (house) to thin their paint. That said.. awesome job Chris I would have stopped at 11.25 that was before it ran off the edge I loved that black negative space all round...darn I'm going to have to have another try. Stunning results...
LOL...that's funny, Jenny! I wasn't crazy about this one, but not bad for a first try. I've done a few since then that are much better. 😉

How exciting Chris! So wonderful that your subscriber set you off on this new journey. After seeing your painting my husband said it was time I spend the money and buy some Australian floetrol...after all I've been on the fence about it for four years😏. I have even made a cells activator myself that works pretty well, but totally different cells/lacing. Can't wait to see what you do with this new tool! Oh, you can make beautiful designs by swiping or even making flowers but for that you’re gonna need to blow on the center with your new flothrol use you’re mica you get from color art😊❤❤
