how to fix gear shifting issues for ktm duke
this shows you the wornout parts causing the issue
if you can get the part - replace it. if not
you can still fix it and it will hold for as long as you need if you do it right
this fixes gear shiffting issues comon on ktm duke's
sliiping foot peg / skipping gear / hard to get to neutral gear

My quickshifter tends to shift smoothly from 4-5th and 5-6th gears but rest all of them it either makes me put hell lot of pressure to shift or it just simply doesn't shift,any solution buddy?

another option is to take off the gear shifter, put it in a vice and open the gap slightly with an angle grinder cutting wheel - it will then tighten on the shaft much better.

it can be a good idea and it can also brake
due to being aluminum it's not that flexible .
better to use a rotary tool .
to shave off 2 mm of the clamping aluminum part .
angle grinder can shave off too much .
for now it works still , not perfect though

@@MechanicsDIY it is how i fixed mine, i clamped it in a vice and used a thin wheel, the gap was already slightly under the thickness of the wheel so it only took off about a mm. maybe i am better with tools than some people due to my engineering training. i would maybe have used a rotary tool like a dremel, if i had one.

My gear is not shifting up it's stuck in first gear hopefully it's get good
