My duke 200 bs4 model recently cranks but is not starting up, i can here the starter sound but no ignition all lights horn working perfectly, what might be the issue
I'm getting jy_1.4.2 error in speedometer while trying to start my rc 200..and the bike is not starting...I don't know if it is a problem related to low battery or the coil that recharges battery while bike is running?
Ey bro sup. Been suffering with that issue? Ahm, before anything else, i go advice to check ur battery terminals, clean it if possible and tighten it. And the connections especially the rectifier and stator coil and all those neccessary for charging components. If still the same, check how many years is your battery and test your rectifier and lastly, the stator coil if it's burned or not.

Press the MODE button to go through ODO mode. Hold and press the MODE & SET button together until the time flashes then set the desired time. To make it more easy, refer to your manual. Drive safe.

@@simondcruz2821 pls check near the side stand, there is a magnet. Double check if side stand is folded, magnet should be closer to a black square plate. Behind that square plate is the chips. Do use a paddock stand.
Check fuse box. Make sure everything is fine. No lose contact or destroyed fuse and if everything is fine, clean your lambda sensor located on the headers, attached. If still the same, try to delete it from the dealer then last option is to change the sensor.
Reverend CowarD I mean that on the dial (where the mod is installed) on the speedometer (over time, when turned on, a square appears(as interference or a frame) with what can this be related? The rest of the speedometers don't have this.

Also pro one more thing when i but new buttery just when i ride at least 30 mint and thin low electrical and when i try aging start engine but not working until chaneg buttry and same i change 4 buttry and voltage Rectifier Regulator i dont know how i fix it i check all fuse it good why buttry leave??
it's a circuit fault bro. rollover sensor. pls do check. maybe it's just wet. try to dry it up. if it's broken, then need to buy new one. see the picture on Google if your not familiar with the Rollover sensor look like. thanks. sorry for the late reply. don't have loaded from past weeks.
Nicely done! My 2012 Duke 200 also shows me flash code 24 intermittently and at the same time causes the idle rpm to either rise to 3k continuous or fluctuate between 1100 and 3000 rpm quickly. Occasionally it so happens that opening the throttle fully doesn't rev the engine but just makes it fluctuate between 1100 and 3000 rpm. What could it be? The flash code and idle issues occur at the same time.

I had been taking my bike to the workshop often and they explained all the symptoms over the phone to a member of the KTM R&D team. He almost immediately responded by saying that the wiring harness needs to be changed. There are a lot of broken wires in it that have been rejoined at several points mostly near the steering head bearing. Need to wait for the part since it needs to be ordered.
i see. i encountered a customer too having a problem on its wire harness near the steering bearing part. everytime u full lock its rotation to the left and right the power goes off. i found out some wires worn-out already. by the way, hoping ur bike could be better than ever now.
@@reverendcoward7941 Yes, I have had that problem too. A total of 6 or 7 wires have been repaired already. As for the wiring harness replacement, it will take 15 days for the part to arrive. Long wait.
Hello bro sorry for the late reply. Do mind to check ur side stand sensor. Check the magnet if it's still okay or the socket of the side stand sensor. Also check the wires if it's not cut.
I checked side stand sensor wiring not found any unusual things.. now i suspect may be the problem occurred with sensor internal short.. or something like that? I disconnect the sensor coupler and bypass with help of a resistor.. now it's not showing any type of error.. but now i noticed another issue.. bike sluggish starting.. idle not steady but after some attempt now it's working okey.. you have any idea about that?
Ahh i see. Yes bro once the bike just started. Let the bike warm up 1st like for about 2 to 3 minutes . U can full rev after but please not all the time. Hehe

Hello my friend. Pls do check it to ur dealer if it's still in warranty. They can trace the problem using the diagnostic tool. Otherwise, u may check directly ur rectifier and stator coil. Also check the tightness of every terminals. Like the starter relay. Check also Sparkplug.
May I know bro if anything is wrong happening to ur bike right now? If none, try to remove the battery whole night then put it back in the next day. Be careful in putting back the terminals. Correct placement of pos and neg should be observed.
My problem is that it starts normally but when i try to ride it just starts to stall. Idk what to do. It blinks one long and one short. And i dont know if its about the battery. Maybe the fuel injection. Its s 2015 so its a carburator injection.
I suggest to check your stand sensor if it's working fine. If working fine, next step, clean your throttle body and its components with carb cleaner or can be regular gasoline. Also double check the connector of your idle air control sensor. If not familiar, please bring it to the near ktm dealer or expert mechanic of ktm.
My bike is not maintaining idle speed and,its rpm is fluctuating, moreover it seems like there doesn't occur regular spark in the cylinder, i checkd the spark plugs and keep doing it since 5 days, engine is also overheating, black smoke sometimes come out while cranking, above 5-6k rpm the engine is ok but below, there is problem, my engine is ktm duke 390

@@SuperBulletforme notice the sequence of check engine light, i have 1 long blink and 3 short blink, and 9 long blink. Issue is still on the engine, the mechanic said throttle body and fuel pump had to be changed
It's the lambda sensor bro. Please do clean your lambda sensor and connector or before doing it. Please try to unplug batter for 12hrs then install it again. Be Careful. Thanks.
Brother I need help with my duke 200. Flash code blinks 2 short 2 long. Bike runs ok. Flash code only appears when stationary but goes off while riding. What could be the issue here. Please help thank you in advance 👍🏻
If you have not enough knowledge about it it's better to bring it to the nearest dealership to serve your concern maybe a motorcycle shop that can actually fix the issue . Much better too if they have a diagnostic tool.

Hello bro good evening. I hope ur giving me the correct error. If dealer is really far from ur place, try to check ur fan if it is working. Let engine on wait for the fan to turn on. If not, turn it off. Check also coolant level. Check also fuse box. There is so much thing to check bro. I hope if u will have time, bring it to ur nearest dealer to fix the issue.
It's more on battery. But pls do check 1st if how old is ur battery. If it's not yet even 1 yr, pls clean both positive and negative terminals by sanding it. Make sure properly hand tight of the screws. Check also terminal of relay if it's not loosen. Thanks, pls don't hesitate to update.

Hi Bro, i have problem with the battery. I've check the battery. When position off, it is measure 12,65 VDC and then when i start to cranking motor, the voltage is increase to 13,75 - 14 VDC. But when i turn off the motor, and then i try to turn on again, there is still any message "Low Battery" in LCD. What should i do, charge the battery or replace the battery with new one? Hello sir. May i know if how many years already is your battery? And if it's still 1 or 2 yrs, try to tighten the battery terminal and also clean it by sanding. If same issue occurs, please recharge your battery then install it back. Please update me. Thanks.
Aadil Syed are u sure same problem on the video my friend? to make sure, pls use tester on ur stator before open the cover. if it's confirmed, buy stator coil.
My rc 200 show jy 1.3.2 2long blink 4short blinks that is ..low or high voltage or implausible voltage .. i change the battery after i cannot start my bike .. then it happen again but i jump started my bike and ride on rpm about like 4 or 6k around 40 minute ..then a miracle happen its doesn't show any of the code anymore and can started like usual .. but i know its gonna happen again so i let my bike rest for while ..
@@harithhazim407 yes jy . 1.3.2 is a battery problem , starting problem also. Yup, low voltage. Just make sure terminals of the battery are clean and tighten well. If it will happen again, check stator.

@Jasper Dolphin yes there are times like that. Try these 1st, remove the battery for whole night by the next day, install again the battery. In putting the battery, please make sure to put the positive terminal first then next the negative. Make sure to tighten it but not too much for it not to lose thread. If bike is still under warranty please go to your nearest KTM dealership and let them remove the error by the diagnostic tool. You can always do the thing I said but at your own risk. Ride safe and be cautious enough.
@Jasper Dolphin that's great. That happens on my bike to, battery went low since i haven't use it for a long time because of quarantine but then I do check it time to time like charge the battery at least every twice or thrice a month. Ride safe.
The problem I have is as soon as I start my bike all my coolant goes into my oil and replaced all the seals etc. My heat sensor also dont work replcaed that nd still it doesnt work

Hey Mate.. Greetings from India 🇮🇳 Please help me sort this issue with my duke 200 Bs3.. Without giving throttle(acceration) the RPM get's raised to 3000 and the warning light blinks continuosly... this issue comes and goes while riding only.. I have got the ECU checked, accelerator wire replaced but the problem is not resolved yet.. I hope u have the answer..
That's the air intake sensor. Please get ur bike serviced from your dealer if still under warranty. But if no longer under warranty, try checking ur air intake sensor, clean it with contact cleaner. Or try turning off your bike, count for 2 seconds then turn it back on then do it again for 3 times. Last option, try to remove your battery for whole night then install it back the next day morning.
@@amihussain4407 hey bro that's the lambda sensor. It's failing. If bike is still under warranty, please bring it to the dealer and get it fixed. If not, you may remove the lambda sensor located on your headers pipe. I think that's a 17mm or 14mm open wrench . And also before removing it, make sure to unplug the socket. Clean it with contact cleaner. Try plug it back in. If still the same, remove battery for one night then put it the next day morning to reset ecu.
Cheenu zookies double check everything 1st on the fuse box if there is no blown fuse. if no, use a tester and test ur stator coil wires. better to ask assistance from a good Mechanic. avoid DIY if ever cannot do it or not knowledgeable enough. especially if it's still under warranty. better to bring it to the manufacturer. as much as i know, usually stator problem or might be the starter relay. double check also ur starter relay.
That's still a battery issue but let's all check the terminals of the battery first if it's tightened enough. Might be a lose contact. And also check the voltage of the batter if it goes down instead of charging while bike is on.
You may use a voltmeter on it but make sure to do it well. I suggest if bike is still under warranty, bring it to the nearest ktm dealer and let it be done there.
Go to ur nearest dealer bro. If too far, try this 1st : >Change battery >If still the same, check stator coil (replace if needed) > if still the same, since it's idle malfunction, check terminals, clean with contact cleaner . > better to go to ur nearest dealer and let it get fixed with the KTM mechanics.
Bro , pls double check battery, battery terminals and lastly stator. I suggest u to go to ur nearest dealership that way the XC-2 gadget can check the main issue. Thanks.
I do had the same problem showing on the display JG 1.7.3.2 and low battery then I checked to nearest KTM service centre they have charged the battery for about 1 & half hour and after that bike starts 2, 3 times and again same problem occurs then I had to replaced new battery later on working fine till 1 week again after that same problem now KTM service centre told me that it's regulator problem the current is not converting to AC to DC and again I had to changed the regulator which cost 1500rs this is my present situation 😥🤯

or is it the fuse alone, which has defect or something like that, that's why it popped?
edward newgate it's the stator coil has problem. fuse were cut since triggered by main issue.

Still more battery issues. Just try 1st checking your battery terminals or connections. Make sure battery is not too old.

Most likely it's a symptom with bad stator. But then to make it sure. Much better we go use a diagnostic test for ur bike.

If none, try to remove the battery whole night then put it back in the next day. Be careful in putting back the terminals. Correct placement of pos and neg should be observed.

My problem is that it starts normally but when i try to ride it just starts to stall. Idk what to do. It blinks one long and one short. And i dont know if its about the battery. Maybe the fuel injection. Its s 2015 so its a carburator injection.
I suggest to check your stand sensor if it's working fine. If working fine, next step, clean your throttle body and its components with carb cleaner or can be regular gasoline. Also double check the connector of your idle air control sensor. If not familiar, please bring it to the near ktm dealer or expert mechanic of ktm.

My bike is not maintaining idle speed and,its rpm is fluctuating, moreover it seems like there doesn't occur regular spark in the cylinder, i checkd the spark plugs and keep doing it since 5 days, engine is also overheating, black smoke sometimes come out while cranking, above 5-6k rpm the engine is ok but below, there is problem, my engine is ktm duke 390

If you have not enough knowledge about it it's better to bring it to the nearest dealership to serve your concern maybe a motorcycle shop that can actually fix the issue . Much better too if they have a diagnostic tool.

Hello bro good evening. I hope ur giving me the correct error. If dealer is really far from ur place, try to check ur fan if it is working. Let engine on wait for the fan to turn on. If not, turn it off. Check also coolant level. Check also fuse box. There is so much thing to check bro. I hope if u will have time, bring it to ur nearest dealer to fix the issue.

It's more on battery. But pls do check 1st if how old is ur battery. If it's not yet even 1 yr, pls clean both positive and negative terminals by sanding it. Make sure properly hand tight of the screws. Check also terminal of relay if it's not loosen. Thanks, pls don't hesitate to update.

Hi Bro, i have problem with the battery. I've check the battery.
When position off, it is measure 12,65 VDC and then when i start to cranking motor, the voltage is increase to 13,75 - 14 VDC.
But when i turn off the motor, and then i try to turn on again, there is still any message "Low Battery" in LCD.
What should i do, charge the battery or replace the battery with new one?

My rc 200 show jy 1.3.2 2long blink 4short blinks that is ..low or high voltage or implausible voltage .. i change the battery after i cannot start my bike .. then it happen again but i jump started my bike and ride on rpm about like 4 or 6k around 40 minute ..then a miracle happen its doesn't show any of the code anymore and can started like usual .. but i know its gonna happen again so i let my bike rest for while ..
@@harithhazim407 yes jy . 1.3.2 is a battery problem , starting problem also. Yup, low voltage. Just make sure terminals of the battery are clean and tighten well. If it will happen again, check stator.

@Jasper Dolphin yes there are times like that. Try these 1st, remove the battery for whole night by the next day, install again the battery. In putting the battery, please make sure to put the positive terminal first then next the negative. Make sure to tighten it but not too much for it not to lose thread. If bike is still under warranty please go to your nearest KTM dealership and let them remove the error by the diagnostic tool. You can always do the thing I said but at your own risk. Ride safe and be cautious enough.
@Jasper Dolphin that's great. That happens on my bike to, battery went low since i haven't use it for a long time because of quarantine but then I do check it time to time like charge the battery at least every twice or thrice a month. Ride safe.
The problem I have is as soon as I start my bike all my coolant goes into my oil and replaced all the seals etc. My heat sensor also dont work replcaed that nd still it doesnt work

That's the air intake sensor. Please get ur bike serviced from your dealer if still under warranty. But if no longer under warranty, try checking ur air intake sensor, clean it with contact cleaner. Or try turning off your bike, count for 2 seconds then turn it back on then do it again for 3 times. Last option, try to remove your battery for whole night then install it back the next day morning.

@@amihussain4407 hey bro that's the lambda sensor. It's failing. If bike is still under warranty, please bring it to the dealer and get it fixed. If not, you may remove the lambda sensor located on your headers pipe. I think that's a 17mm or 14mm open wrench . And also before removing it, make sure to unplug the socket. Clean it with contact cleaner. Try plug it back in. If still the same, remove battery for one night then put it the next day morning to reset ecu.

Cheenu zookies double check everything 1st on the fuse box if there is no blown fuse. if no, use a tester and test ur stator coil wires. better to ask assistance from a good Mechanic. avoid DIY if ever cannot do it or not knowledgeable enough. especially if it's still under warranty. better to bring it to the manufacturer. as much as i know, usually stator problem or might be the starter relay. double check also ur starter relay.
better tell some situations of ur bike why u changed new battery.

That's still a battery issue but let's all check the terminals of the battery first if it's tightened enough. Might be a lose contact. And also check the voltage of the batter if it goes down instead of charging while bike is on.

You may use a voltmeter on it but make sure to do it well. I suggest if bike is still under warranty, bring it to the nearest ktm dealer and let it be done there.

I do had the same problem showing on the display JG 1.7.3.2 and low battery then I checked to nearest KTM service centre they have charged the battery for about 1 & half hour and after that bike starts 2, 3 times and again same problem occurs then I had to replaced new battery later on working fine till 1 week again after that same problem now KTM service centre told me that it's regulator problem the current is not converting to AC to DC and again I had to changed the regulator which cost 1500rs this is my present situation 😥🤯
