Looks awesome job where did u got the plug and all cables is it m.cable? I would like to buy the whole wiring set I already have the mUnit but I want to buy all the plug u had and cable needles pin female and male. Please advise thank you.
Very neat job, it looks so simple the way you describe it. Thanks a lot. If I'm right, you were saying to prevent any bug from the app, to keep the original ignition key, even if using the keyless device. Could you show us the wiring of that?
Here is an unasked-for hint from an electrical technician: At 12:00 you talk about soldering on the ferrules. Please don't do that. These things are to be crimped onto the wire strands with fitting crimping pliers. If you solder them on and the contact isn't very good for whatever reason, the contact point can heat up and make the solder soft or even liquid. This can lead to the wire to slip out or the solder to flow somewhere and short the circuit. For this type of terminal clamp it is not even required to use ferrules, you can just press the button, put the wire in and release again to clamp it down. In a vibrating environment this is the best way anyway, as the contact area between wire and clamp is maximised. (Just the opinion of someone who wires control cabinets for a living) Apart from that, I am impressed by your neat and tidy work. Good job!
Hey At first … this is a amazing Video ! But it will be great if you could say me all the tools and equipment you use for the wire and all? Best wish 🤙🏻
