Excellent job, very thorough. Seems like nobody else talks about cleaning the firing pin assembly. I need to learn how to do that on my thompson.
Thank you so much for this video!!
I think there could be a whole podcast of "Darren's thoughts while cleaning"
It is now on the podcast list 😂
Thank you for the vid, very helpful in knowing how to clean my LRX 50 cal.
Thanks. That was very helpful. The links are appreciated.
Great video, helped me with my New Optima v2
I also take the pipe cleaner looking things and run them through the fire channel to make sure it is extra clean
Place the scope covers over the lenses before throwing all the chemicals around...always clean scope lenses before shooting!
Getting started in muzzle loading and enjoying all the Muzzle-Loaders videos, thanks for all the information. Purchased a CVA Accura LR-X with an Anarchy Outdoors muzzle brake. How often should the muzzle brake be cleaned and what is the best method to clean the brake?
Hi! Thanks for contacting us!
We recommend cleaning the muzzle brake during your standard barrel cleaning. A wet patch will get most of the residue out of the brake. You can use another patch for the ports, or you can remove the brake and drop it into a parts soaker. However, if you remove the brake, you'll want to reconfirm your zero.
Is the receiver on that gun plastic like the wolf muzzleloader?
is there any barrel prep before you use the lr-x such as curing the bore bore butter hot water
Can you put together a list of what you used?
Does cva offer factory open sights on a cva lrx .45?
Do you do something special with the trigger systeme to clean residu ! Thanks
I have found that there isn't much need to clean out the trigger assembly on my muzzleloaders. With CVA muzzleloaders, I will remove the firing pin assembly for cleaning but that is the extend of it.
can you show videos of you shooting it
