Definitely, the loneliness makes it super tough and I know a lot of people struggle to build a community or support system in their new city. Thanks for watching!
Sono una studentessa giapponese ,Vivendo a Venezia/Padova,studio l’Italiano come te:) faccio una fatica a fare amicizia ..Se qualcuno vuole diventare mia amica, le prego di commentare🥹 Thank you Shea ,your video always makes me positive!!
Was it hard for you to leave home? I guess I’m curious how you balance having your friends/connections back home in the states but also focus on building your community and possible future in Italy :)
Good question! It was definitely hard to leave home but I talk with my best friends really frequently through messages or video calls. I even have a friend coming to visit me here soon! It is hard not being able to see them physically, but we keep each other updated through audio messages and calls so I don't feel like I'm missing out. Honestly I have friends all over the US, so some of my friendships were already long-distance even when I was still living in LA. It's really nice how quickly you become close to people who are also expats abroad, you both are going through similar things so I feel like it allows for really deep connections with wonderful people!
@@SheaJordan that’s good to know! I definitely have always wanted to live abroad but when COVID happened I kinda ended up building my life in LA which was not planned haha.
I am here because I am looking for friends with whom I can speak English in order to improve myself. If you agree, write to me so that we can exchange our contacts. I'm French speaking and I moved to an English speaking country and I really need to improve my English. I am a married woman and I want nothing more than people to talk to daily to quickly progress. Thank you
