    I stumbled upon this channel and I must say, she is is one of the best UA-camrs I've seen recently! Her content is not only informative but also engaging and fun to watch. What I love most about her is her amazing personality - she's so authentic, down-to-earth, and nice. And her calm voice just adds to the overall relaxing vibe of her videos. Keep up the great work :)

    As an English learner, for me the most difficult part is speaking because when I read in English or listen to something in English I understand almost everything but when I start speaking I feel like my language is soooooo weak 🙃 As if I know only a few words and that’s it. Even though when I speak my own language I don’t use all those synonyms to make my speech better I try to do this only when it comes to English 🙃

    Hi Shea!!! I'm improving English and French and I've started studying Russian from scratch last October... and I'd like to add Spanish at the end of next summer! You know what? I'm italian but I need subtitles too if I want to watch something with Naples accent 🤣

    Ciao. Un consiglio di viaggio: se non sei mai stata a Perugia, ti consiglio di venirci dal 6 al 16 Luglio durante l' Umbria Jazz. È bellissima e da Bologna puoi farlo in una giornata.

    Thanks for another lovely video Shea, some great tips here. There is an Italian Netflix show available here in Ireland called La Legge di Lidia Poet. It's like a grown up Enola Holmes and is great fun, I'm really enjoying it 🙂 Oh and I LOVED Cuori Infranti!

    • @SheaJordan
      @SheaJordan  Рік тому +1

      I do a lot of reading, some people prefer flashcards, some people learn a new word and write multiple sentences using that word. Repetition is important and also try to use that new word in various contexts. Reading, watching shows, listening to music and podcasts will help expose you to new words and you will start hearing common words and phrases over and over again

    Hi from turkiye shea , i am currently b2 learner for english and in before levels you know i was doing basics things like learning grammar, vocabulary and listening etc and now i started to read book and to watch friends as a active listener like i focus on the contex,pronunciation etc i mean i watch in a full concentration but sometimes i get confused about my method because i first write down the word that i dont know and i watch second time and i am not sure if this method is right or am i watching or reading in a right way and if you make a detailed video about watching in a target language it will be beneficial for us we are waiting as soon as possible, also thanks for your sharing about learning language take care 🌸

    Hello Shea, when you read books in Italian, do you read aloud or silently? And do you prefer physical books, e-books or audiobooks?

    • @SheaJordan
      @SheaJordan  Рік тому

      It depends! Some days I feel like reading aloud but not always. It can be good to read aloud to help with pronunciation, but you don’t need to do it all the time. I personally prefer physical books, I like the feel of the real pages. But e-books are great because when I don’t know a word, I can press on it and look up the translation, instead of having to go google it myself. I rarely listen to audiobooks, I’ve never gotten into them, not even in English, but I’m sure it would be good to use as a language learner!

    Hi Shea
    Can you tell me how much time would I need to be fluent enough in Italian to at least do daily life routine things. I'm coming to Reggio emilia next month and I heard there aren't much people who can talk in English.
