I would recommend his performance at Woodstock (1969). That would be a great reaction. Welcome to the world of Carlos Santana! His music has been a staple in my playlist for over 50 years. Thank you for your reaction, it was enlightening to see a young person experience Santana for the first time. Blessings!
Yes I hardly could agree more with these guys here Biss! soul sacrifice Woodstock 1969. Pay attention also to the young drummer he was the youngest player at Woodstock at 19 years old Michael was a phenomenal drummer even at that young age. By the way they were high as a kite at this performance there’s a backstory to that but too much to go into here lol!
Absolutely1 +1 Pwople don't realize today, but Santana most probably was the first 3rd world rockstar ever. I had the pleasure of jamming with him about 25 years ago. I play the drums, and just being in his presence was a once in a lifetime experience for me.
Just cruising thru UA-cam and saw your vlog. Damn you are pretty. I took love this song by Santana. Keep up the fantastic work. Gilcortez from Texas (USA).Adios.
🇨🇦 Probably in the top ten Guitarists in History ! I have been trying to get you to react to his Woodstock version of 'Soul Sacrifice' for a long time ! This is a very deep rabbit hole !
I'm 69 year old in the year 2023, and my son was conceived listening to this song many years ago with an ex partner. whom I truly loved...she sadly passed away in 2019. The emotion and passion of Carlos Santana's guitar playing will always keep her in my heart.

Simply Carlos Santana máster piece. Carlos Santana máster of a good vibes song's ever Máster of guitar since 1960's on Woodstock sessions and others performances... Thanks d'or choose this video reaction to Carlos Santana with Samba pa ti.Great song ever.
You MUST hear "Soul Sacrifice" (LONG VERSION, ITS' A MUST) live version from Woodstock 1969. They were practically unknown then, but surely things changed after that participation. A timeless classic!
"Samba Pa Ti" - Samba For You. It always seemed so. It was like he played for the individual in the audience. Welcome to the world of Carlos...BTW - the "thingies" are called maracas. PRS is his guitar choice.
Finaly you reacted to Carlos Santana. He ist a living legend for more than 50 years now. He and his guitar are one, his guitar really sings and expresses so many emotions. This music always brings me in a very good mood and I feel happy. Some other very great songs you should enjoy: - Black Magic Woman - Maria Maria - Smooth - Europa - Jingo - Oye Como Va
The guy playing keyboards is Greg Rolle who would later form Journey in 1973. Neil Schon who is the last original member of Journey also played with Santana as a teenager.
As much as I like watching Carlos play, I have to say that I love listening to the studio version on the Abraxas album while I'm driving on a mountain road known to us locals as Looking Glass. Doesn't get any better for me...
Love this song. Heard it the first time in 1970 in a funky bar (the sink) in Boulder, Colorado where I was a student. It brought tears to my eyes, it was so beautiful.
Do you mean Woodstock? Santana didn't play Monterey pop. They were playing the Fillmore in SF that weekend, opening for the Who. Woodstock was their first major appearance in '69.
5 months late xD so many songs where I think "I could recommend that" I find you already have a reaction to that. This particular song is from Santana's prime and from him i gotta say i never heard another piece of music as good as this, and the studio version is unmatched from what I have seen. It seems like a lot of it is improvised on it as well, and it is never the same when you go after the fact and learn these improvised lines. He also lets the notes live longer and doesn't stop so many of them as aprubtly as he does in this version. It's a great listen.
I saw Carlos Santana several times in my 75 years of living and always enjoyed his music and stage presence. Wish I could go back to the sixties and seventies when we had amazing music, groups and great times. Now I’m approaching the end and I’m glad I had the chance to witness these great bands and musicians.
Santana at the Woodstock festival, 1969, is A MUST SEE, incredible performance, 6 or seven musicians playing a ohhh so much passion and joy. GIVE IT A VIEW, you may be 'blowen-away' like so many millions of fans and admirerers (sp?).
I don't like to dance, at all, BUT after a few beverages, a nice breezy summer night, and great friends... Carlos's music will lure you to the dance floor, with no choice but to dance. I had a blast! It's been a while since you posted this video, but if your still wondering, he's using a PRS (Paul Reed Smith) brand guitar, like Kanami from Band Maid and Dany from The Warning..... among many others.
Santana is an American Latin rock band formed in 1966 by Mexican-American guitarist & songwriter Carlos Santana. They played at Woodstock in 1969. They have had a lot of great songs & instrumental rock tracks over the years such as "Jingo", "Evil Ways", "Black Magic Woman", "Soul Sacrifice", "Oye Coma Va", "Everybody's Everything", "The Game Of Love", "Hope You're Feeling Better" etc. The song "Smooth" & "Maria Maria" were done later in 1999 & rejuvenated the career of Santana.
Best concerts i’ve ever been to have been Santana.. seen him 5 times in last 7 years… this song played in House of Blues in Vegas is the best venue ever for his music. Not a bad seat in the house, always sold out, and the acoustics are incredible. He’s 75 now, still playing great, see him while he’s still touring!
Latin Power. One of the best guitarist ever. Since a few times ago, he has a personal commercial agreement with PRS Guitars and he has his own brand partner guitars, the PRS Santana Model I, II and MD-10 ...!!!
This song is from 1970 Abraxas album so you are actually hearing him from his younger years and it's better now than back in 1970 . That is the original band playing with the original members in 2016 .They put out a new record with the original line up and went on tour .
From his youth - Check out a song "Treat" or "Soul Sacrifice" from Live at the Fillmore 1968. In 1969 his Album called Santana check out the song "Evil Ways" and "Persuasion". Skip a couple years and check out these songs from 1977 Moonflower album "Black Magic Woman/Gypsy Queen" "Let the Children Play" or "I'll Be Waiting".. From his Santana III Abraxas albums "Everybody's Everything"; "Everything is Coming our Way" and "You Just Don't Care" .
This man tried to create his own genre of music. He dreamed of as sound that encompasses jazz, blues, rock, and salsa I think he succeeded. The man is ageless in his performance. No different now fron 50 years ago. If anything, he's better. Take it from aguitarist with 50 years experience.
That guitar's a PRS (Paul Reed Smith) - you can tell by the birds on the fretboard! That's the PRS thing. But the style is kinda similar to a Les Paul, which is one of the iconic guitar styles (like how Strats are) so you might have been noticing those too
Had the pleasure of bumping into Santana on the streets of San Francisco. He said one of the coolest things to me I'll ever hear..."Love and Light My Brother"
I’d suggest just about anything from his “Abraxas” album from the late 60’s or early70’s, don’t remember which. Getting old and the memory isn’t the same, but I remember the music. It’s a great album.
Don't forget their hit song 'black magic woman' and Santana also collaborated with other singers.. Among my favorite songs is 'smooth' (ft. Rob Thomas from matchbox 20) 'Into the night' (ft. Chad kroeger from nickelback.. 'the game of love' (ft. Michelle branch)
I started listening to Santana over 30 years ago and I still listen to his songs. Their is a lot of variety in his catalogue and he has made music with a lot of different people.
Hi from Monterrey Mexico Samba pa ti It is a song in samba rhythm dedicated to God in the moment of most suffering and redemption of a person. here are the lyrics Samba pa ti ( Samba for you ) I am the shadow of a sorrow I am the echo of a pain sad loneliness What's left for me today? Love the reaction video! The guitar Carlos plays is his own model made by an American luthier named Paul Reed Smith (PRS). So it's a PRS Santana. Paul Reed Smith managed to get himself up there with Gibson and Fender. A lot of people play PRS guitars nowadays.
I have seen Carlos and his band in concert twice in recent years, They are fantastic! Two of the best concerts I have ever seen and well worth making the effort to see them while you still can.
Carlos Santana is 75 years old now. He played a couple of times at the famous Jazzfestival in Montreux/Switzerland. His most popular songs are Oye Como Va and Black Magic Woman.
However those were just commercial successes. HIS GREATEST MUSIC WAS AFTER HIS SPIRITUAL AWAKENING. CARVANSERI, WELCOME, BARBOLETTA, ONENESS, BLUES FOR SALVADOR, MOONFLOWER, EUROPA were his crowning achievements. Oye como va and Black Magic woman have been beaten to death and are boring commercial successes in comparison.
Hi there. Carlos Santana became worldly famous on the 60s Woodstock festival. You could take a look at his debut. Specialy "Soul sacifice". "Evil ways ""Black Magic woman" and this one are early classics from them ✌take care
it was a constant part of the "slow rounds" in disco (that was similar to what nowadays is called "club") in my "good old times" :-) together with whiter shade of pale, some pink floyd, old (pre-disco) bee gees, etc ... where has all the good music gone ? :-(
Santana uses PRS guitars since the late 80s. In his early days he used Gibson and Yamaha. Woodstock performance is a famous one from his youth. He was unknown and people started noticing him after that day when he performed while high out of his mind. "Smooth" is one of his biggest hits from the early 2000s. Makes you want to dance.
I first started listening to Santana in 1970 when I was in the Air Force in California. I think we are close to the same age, and he was already world class back then.
Hey there young lady Carlos is/was a darn good guitarist. His style was Latin-American jazz. He is damn good! May I suggest "Black Magic Woman from the 1970's. Such a Latin favor. A darn good song with strong percussion. And Carlos performing his guitar magic..... If I understood you the shakie things are a marcas. Take care and please continue to explore the music from yesteryear. You said something that made me think of a group and song that was super big in 1972. The year before I graduated high school. That was Seals and Croft's Summer Breeze. Easy listening at it's finest!
I knew you would like Santana and Prince, as I mentioned months ago. Very happy you react to these artists. Carlos Santana goes back before Woodstock 1969. Great job Bisscute excellent as things grow with a larger following. Try Woodstock 1969 Santana 'Soul Sacrifice'. Try Gary Wright 'Dreamweaver'...and Gerry Rafferty 'Baker Street'.. be safe be well stay humble and kind 😍
Santana has been around for so long and I have listened to all the changes In life with his albums, he is one of the greatest guitarists weather you are listing to Woodstock, welcome up to today’s work.
So awesome to see one of the best guitarists ever on this channel. Always a good vibe when listening to him. I definitely recommend anything from his Supernatural album, especially Smooth(with Rob Thomas), Put your Lights on(with Everlast), and Migra. Great reaction Biss ❤🎸
Santana's prime was actually in 1999 when his album 'Supernatural' (which was recorded w/ guest singers and artists) sold 30 million copies worldwide (13 million copies in the US) and scored hit songs like - 'Smooth' (feat. Rob Thomas of Matchbox 20) ... 'Maria Maria' (feat. the Product G&B) ...'Put your lights on'(feat. Everlast). Carlos Santana debuted in the late 60's w/ his brand of latin fusion music... his record sales peaked in the 70's before 2 of his band members left to form Journey (guitarist Neal Schon and keyboardist Greg Rolie) ... Santana released a string of albums into the 80's, but by the 90's, he was without a label and left for broke... It wasn't until Santana recorded the 'Supernatural' album and made a massive comeback in 1999 as his popularity skyrocketed and at age 75, Santana is still the king of latin fusion music.
I'm glad your happy with his playing. It's his passion to play to the audience by expression 😆😃👍awesome reaction bisscute. He's a great artist our carlos santana
A milk company here in New Zealand used to use Samba Pa Ti as the ad music. Spent about 15 years having no idea what the song was, but I had that ad recorded and would play it over and over.
🐬Santana's music is usually about catching the vibe. 🪘🥁🪘That's why he always uses a huge percussion section, creating the ludicrously deep groove that he's known for. 🥞Bisquick caught the vibe, which we knew she would, but I think she was expecting something sensational from a song that is supposed to chill, which it did, and so did she...⛱🌊🧬❤
Carlos Santana plays custom-made Paul Reed Smith guitars. The Santana PRS Signature line has gone through a wide range of specs and color variations throughout the years, but it’s always suited the needs of Santana’s playing style and incredible tone throughout the years.
Consider Santana Europa (Earths Cry, Heavens Smile), Moonflower, Woodstock performance 1969 (full version). These were when he was in his prime. Santana is a great rabbit hole to explore. Santana is self-taught.
I had the pleasure of seeing him Several times and always a great show. One of a kind. I wish I could have gone to Woodstock but unfortunately there was a little thing called viet nam and I was there instead.
I have lived in the southern part of the San Francisco Bay Area for most of my life and I can tell you that the name Carlos Santana evokes a feeling of love and respect for the Bay Area legend, who has wowed sold out crowds for 50 years. A winner of 10 Grammy Awards, his breakout performance at the 1969 WOODSTOCK Festival is still talked about today. Inducted into the ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME in 1998, Santana was not only a trend setter, combining Latin Jazz with rock and roll, but also a teacher and influential in the styles of future guitarists. My step father was a keyboard player in an amateur band that played local gigs. Their lead guitarist was one of Santana's students and an amazing player himself. It was not uncommon to have a member of the Santana family join them on stage. Another of Santana's students and former band member was Neil Schon, who along with keyboardist Greg Rolie, and bassist Ross Valory, splintered off from Santana in favor of a heavier rock sound. Their band eventually became known as JOURNEY. You may have heard of them. It makes me so happy to see young people exposed to and enjoying 'real', old school, music. It's the greatest service reaction channels, like yours, provide to a new audience.
Hello Bisscute, that guitar Santana played on this song "Samba Pa Ti" is called " Paul Reed Smith" made in state of Maryland USA. I have one myself. Glad to see you enjoy watching Carlos Santana performed. Enjoy!!!! 🙋♂️🤗👍👍👍🙏
This is some quality listening right here! I scrolled through a few pages of the comments and didn't see anybody post a comment about your question of the two handheld shaker things. These are called maracas.
The thingings are called Maracas in his prime you should check out Black Magic Woman, Oye Como Va, Evil Ways, or Europa and the guitar is Paul Reed Smith brand
React or watch my Carlos santana when he emerged in Woodstock fest in 1969 Sole Sacrifice...I was 20 then...the emergence of this great great man Guitarst band leader.. dozens of epic number s
Thank you Bisscute. This is one of my favorite songs by Carlos. He is playing a PRS or Paul Reed Smith in this video. He started playing Gibson guitars in the 1960's,a Les Paul and a SG,then switched to the PRS guitar later.Another fine instrumental from Carlos you might enjoy is Europa. For earlier songs you would like are 'Soul Sacrifice' and 'Black Magic Woman'.I saw Carlos in concert in 1976 and he was great. You do not need to know all of the details about music to enjoy great music. If it moves your soul is all that matters.Peace and love my friend!
My Uncle Leo was a friend of the band for over 40 years he met them when he was a Limo Driver and never missed a Santana Concert in Chicago R.I.P Uncle LEO
I got to see Carlos at the House of Blues a few years ago. I noticed then that he used 4 different guitars during the evening. Not going to pretend I know the why and rational for that but obviously it meant a lot to Mr Santana. Different tools for different jobs I assume.
Thank you for watching the video, It means a lot to me .
I will leave this pinned message here to REMIND everyone that i do not have TELEGRAM and there is no GIVEAWAY. Those you see are bot scams . Keep yourself safe and know that I would not ask for your info. ❤ ❤

Santana is one of those artists that when you hear him, you immediately know it's him, because no one else on the planet sounds like that.
Poetry without words on a guitar.
One of my cousins worked with his as a stage hand and friend for three years. He's a
very nice guy.
Some musicians become their instrument. In this is more than mere genius.
I had the pleasure of jamming with him about 25 years ago. I play the drums, and just being in his presence was a once in a lifetime experience for me.
That would be an honor to be on stage with him. I've seen him live a few times. He's truly an artist.
What's your name bro?
A special experience

Santana is a guitar master and a legion in the Latin community. You can't go wrong with any of his music.
You probably meant to write "legend".
More like legend in the US Mexican community L.O.L.
Love this song. Heard it the first time in 1970 in a funky bar (the sink) in Boulder, Colorado where I was a student. It brought tears to my eyes, it was so beautiful.

Samba pa ti ( Samba for you )
I am the shadow of a sorrow
I am the echo of a pain
sad loneliness

The memory that I loved you
And a strange desolation,
I am the shadow of a sorrow
I am the echo of a pain
I want to forget
I want to find forgiveness
Have mercy on my heart
I implore you, Oh my lord
I will erase the darkness
And I will hide my crying
The memory that I suffer

I will come back to life

Hey there young lady Carlos is/was a darn good guitarist. His style was Latin-American jazz. He is damn good! May I suggest "Black
Magic Woman from the 1970's.
Is good .. tq's saya suka .. lagunya .. gaya kamu juga keren .. teruslah berkreasi .. sukses .. ya
He is the greatest Latino Rock God
Listen to some of his other song you will fall in love with his style of music
You should leave out the Latino label.
Anything from Tanglewood, or Woodstock. Carlos is top notch, no one sounds like him.
Live performance at Woodstock 1969, Soul Sacrifice
Noted
Like Stevie Ray Vaughn, Mark Knofler, David Gilmour, Randy Rhodes, Tom Morello, when u hear Carlos u immediately know it's him
👋 black magic woman from Woodstock 👍👍song with a great ending jam 🤟🤟
Yes "Soul Sacrifice" from Woodstock. Fantastic!
Santana made beautiful morning music, start your day with this and your day will be amazing.
It’s a nicely played piece of music, but “Soul Sacrifice,” even 55 years later, is the ultimate fusion of Latin music and power-chord American rock.
Samba Pa Ti, is awesome but I like Europa a little better.
Santana es el mejor!!!
The thing I love about music is there are some that don't need singing because the instruments do the singing for you.
I agree totally. Joe Satriani is another guitarist that is amazing to listen to.
And nobody makes the guitar sings like Santana😮❗
Enjoy!!!! 🙋♂️🤗👍👍👍🙏
De México para el mundo arriba la bandera 🇲🇽
This is some quality listening right here! I scrolled through a few pages of the comments and didn't see anybody post a comment about your question of the two handheld shaker things. These are called maracas.
From Autlán, México to the World, yeah!
The thingings are called Maracas in his prime you should check out Black Magic Woman, Oye Como Va, Evil Ways, or Europa and the guitar is Paul Reed Smith brand
1st Santana album given to my brother and I was LOTUS. Mind blowing!!!❤
React or watch my Carlos santana when he emerged in Woodstock fest in 1969
Sole Sacrifice...I was 20 then...the emergence of this great great man Guitarst band leader.. dozens of epic number s
My Uncle Leo was a friend of the band for over 40 years he met them when he was a Limo Driver and never missed a Santana Concert in Chicago R.I.P Uncle LEO
i was a roadie for the band way way way back..................had the pleasure of having all of his guitars in my hands
So much beauty here...wrote a poem about it some years ago...still haunts me...
Caravanseri and Love Devotion & Surrender albums. Timeless !
Definitely react to Soul Sacrifice live at Woodstock. He was on another plain and all the band was with him. Amazing!
I got to see Carlos at the House of Blues a few years ago. I noticed then that he used 4 different guitars during the evening.
Not going to pretend I know the why and rational for that but obviously it meant a lot to Mr Santana. Different tools for different jobs I assume.
Carlos is top notch, should be in the top 20 guitar players
