And it's not just the fact that he cheated it's that his entire family knew about it and we're OK with keeping it from her until they got worried about his soul when he was about to die. The cheating story. Op needs to discuss the cheating with her parents. Once she knows that they will support her decision to call it off, it will be easier for her. She can’t marry into a family that are able to hide something like that. What else are they hiding? She not only can’t trust the fiancé, she can’t trust the whole family. The family is freaking out because she knows her son is going to be unbelievably pissed for telling the secret to op and her son will never trust her again with any confidences

I think she should also talk to the fiancé himself. She only has a second hand story and should really get his side of what happened. Since they have been together for six years she probably knows him well enough to judge his reaction. Maybe his mother exaggerated what happened or misunderstood something. I agree that she shouldn't marry the guy if in fact the story of his cheating on her is true, but it would be a shame if she dumped him after six years and it turned out that the incident didn't actually happen the way she thinks it did.

That's what I thought. Nobody knows what really happened. Fact is: the family is something I wouldn't touch with a 10 meter pole (sorry... Metric system rules). And the communication culture between those two must also be bad. Not a good foundation for a long term relationship. Also: this sounds conveniently dramatic, like a bad TV show. Not saying it's a lie, but the likelihood is not very big.

Story 1: Not the jerk. That karen totally deserved what was coming to her and she could've have just left well enough alone. But then she had to do what all karens do and start up pointless drama. Personally thinking; if her business took a big hit and an even bigger L after she tried attacking OP's family salon, then nothing of value to the community was lost.
Story 2: OP you gotta give your fiancé's ring back to him and tell him regardless if he's still healing that "it's over", cheating is cheating and if he was willing to go through with it while your engaged then imagined what he'd do when you two are LEGALLY married. And to the mother of the cheating S.O.B PISS OFF! If you didn't want your son to cheat to begin with, then you should have raised him better to begin with, especially considering your family's supposed to be religious!
Story 3. The selfish neighbor got what he deserved. Should've listened to the OP when he first asked to move his vehicle when they were trying to help someone in need.
Story 4. OP Do what you wanna do. Unlike the government here in the states, I always believed in "my body, my choice." Heck it's what your husband did, and even though he got snipped you still got pregnant in the end. It'll be tough to explain to your child why their biological father wasn't in the picture, but I know you'll find a way to do so when the time comes.

All though I agree whole heartedly with what you said about: my body my choice, I would not recommend keeping the child though. Its possibly the worst outcome for the husband, cause he did everything he could to prevent this but will now be punished for something completely out of his control (if hes even the Father we don't have the Full context for that assuming the worst scenario) because by divorce he needs to Pay up. Second of all, like he Said they are to Old for it. even if this child is born with no issues, she alone can't fully support the child's needs if something happens to her.
The the 3 red flag is they hate children? Just not this particular child? Doesn't really matter your Gonna force this child to have No friend's he can bring home? Or Will the OP hold in her animosity for children?
I doubt it Will be a Very happy ending.

They do not take the time to take care of the vehicle they are moving. A fire truck is very durable it has one heck of a front bumper. And I don't know what state this person or country this person is in but the two states where I was a paramedic any damage done to your vehicle because you refuse to move it you pay for. To access a fire hydrant blocked by a car, if there is a fire or a medical emergency, they don't even have to ask, they will either break your windows or use their trucks to ram the cars out of the way. We are in a similar situation. In our 40's and childless. I'm convinced that bringing a baby into any marriage takes away from the intimate bond of a husband and wife.
Before going through the change, I thought I was pregnant. I was 40 years old. I told my husband that I'm not sure I had the heart to "get rid of it", and he said we would have it if you are.
Dodged that bullet. I would be a lucky lady to be the mother of my husband's children. However, I do not want to bring a child into this world for many, many reasons...this situation right here being just one of them on a very long list.
I'm sorry to hear about what you went through with your marriage. People seriously don't consider how much having a baby will change everything.

My dad was 50 when I was born (mom was 32). It was very difficult for us to get along during my teen years - he knew everything as a senior citizen and I knew everything as a teen. But he was always there for me and when I hit my 20’s, he became my best friend. So it can be done, but it takes hard work from both the parents and the child. If OP’s husband isn’t on board before the kid is even born, he won’t magically get there after birth. And OP won’t just be facing single parenthood like everyone else, she’ll be doing so while also facing getting older, declining health and energy, etc. I wouldn’t recommend, but that’s just my opinion. I’ve never been pregnant, never wanted to be, and I’ve never felt a connection to something growing inside me.

My parents were in their 40s when they had me. The last story got me to thinking about my life growing up. I never thought of this before, but here are some observations:
    1. Though both of my parents were only children, my grandparents came from large families and lived out of town. I attended many funerals at an early age, and missed many days of school.
    2. Because my parents were older, I was constantly worried about them getting sick or me becoming an orphan.
    3. There was a disconnect between what I was allowed to do and what my friends were allowed (curfew, where I could and couldn’t go alone, spending money, etc.). Many discussions about changing their rules were shouting matches.
    4. Some of my values and opinions tended to be outdated compared with my friends.
    5. When I was a teenager and started working part time, I found I had more in common with coworkers who were 10-20 years older than me.
    5. It wasn’t our of the ordinary for me to go to my friends’ parents for advice on certain topics.
    6. I never understood the reason for this (and I never told my parents about this), but sometimes I was a target for bullying by some classmates for being raised by my grandparents which intensified upon finding out they were parents. The bullying didn’t last because as far as I was concerned, to be bullied one must feel bullied. Yes, I was worried about my parents, but I was neither ashamed of nor embarrassed by them.
To have a child or not is a personal decision, and it is not my place to judge one way or the other. But the OP must be prepared for not only the physiological effects (if any), but the potential social or psychological outcomes as well.
    One question though:
If a vasectomy permanently disables a man from impregnating a woman, then…
Perhaps her husband isn’t angry about the pregnancy. He took action to prevent himself from becoming a parent (or so we’re told), but the OP obviously didn’t.

    • @sevenguardians7517

So it’s a less than 1% chance to get pregnant with a vasectomy it’s not a 0% chance

the fire service doesn't fuck around.they will do what they need to to get the job done.because as a firefighter literally every second counts. even that two seconds it takes to break your windows to get the hose in could be the difference between life and death for the people trapped in a burning building. They will not hesitate to do whatever it takes to save lives. and if that means damaging an expensive or rare car to get the fire hose plugged in then so be it. and they will have zero sympathy for the person who obstructed their job.
