I KNOW this is personal but the HEALING I just RECEIVED listening to U a man vocalizing THANK YOU OH THANK YOU GREAT SPIRIT finding something SACRED surviving 1000 of years is MOVING!
Appreciate that! I remember this trip well. It was cold and windy that day. Water was barley above freezing! But was super stoked when I found the side notch in the water!
Awesome finds, I would be doing the same as you, braving the cold for artifacts, but unfortunately we have a bunch of snow on the ground. But eh those are the cards I am dealt and those are the cards I have to play with.
Great finds brother . I sometimes hunt areas that are frequented by other rock hunters who move to fast and miss some . I've found them right next to their muddy footprints. Enjoyed your editing and the added music to the upload . Thanks for taking us along on your adventure. Best wishes to you .
There's been several times I find them right by footprints. Definitely when it's a bigger gravel bar. Sometimes the artifact finds you😉 Thanks for the compliments and hope you find a smoker next time out!👊
There's always a chance here in Colorado I recall an episode where three of us were hunting a bunch of sandy pinion trees and one of the guys dropped a point this area only compromised maybe an acre all sandy as I mentioned it took all three of us 25 minutes or so to refind this point I saw your third find and I was imagining eating a bit o honey wierd huh!
@@PtownRockhound anyways out here in Colorado thers not to many giant gravel bars to hunt hows your luck with mega fauna fossils I found an ancient bison tooth fishing the river but not much else so far!
Pretty much every creek in Missouri has workable chert and with multiple varieties to choose from. Burlington, Jefferson City Chert, Rouiboux, Mozarkite, Rhyolite, Excello, just to name a few.
7 min in that dark point sure looked like the top of a paleo point that some one else notched and broke at a later date that center ridge and the parallel flaking sure looks like a Plainview type point!

My favorite place to rock count out there. You’re good at finding these what do you think most of the material is? Is there Flint out there?

@@PtownRockhound Oh my gosh wow I thought you were actually in Massachusetts, we have a town with a similar name.
@@MACorrupt haha. I've he'd a few people think I'm from certain areas because of name. I'm in cognito😁
