@PtownRockhound Yep, you can walk across the rivers down here. I haven't been since April due to health issues, but fixing to get back at it while I can. Good luck and God Bless yall....
Have been resorting to a lot more sifting because of the prolonged dry conditions. It better rain soon...but it will take A LOT of rain to do any good.
Great video as usual Chris! I've always felt like I have some crazy connection with artifacts too. When i get certain feelings while out walking I always find something. and usually within 10 feet but have felt them pulling me to them from miles and even years away. I even had a certain type of bird that for years every time i heard it i would find a point. Definitely feel spiritual connected when I'm in nature. You definitely have that connection too . Would love to come to Missouri and do some walking with. Anytime you need a walking buddy give me a holler. Good Luck!
hi fellow artifact hound! the types of pieces u found in this and the vid. before are mouth watering to folks like me. down here where I live, in NE AL, there are fewer spear and atlatl dart pts. like those u find, more arrowheads, and blowgun dart pts. I’ve only found one Clovis in my life. I’ve been scouring fields and creeks / rivers banks since I was 8 yrs. old. I’m nearly 60 now, so literally 10k’s of hrs. I envy u!! Super finds, and u seem to me to be a good boy, so I’m sure u deserve every one of them. Keep the mud off u’r soles Hound! later
Cool finds! Gonna be staying around Poplar Bluff, Mo in April, would you happen to know of any' pay to dig' artifact outfits I can hit while I'm there? Thanks
I don't know of any in the state to be honest. There are friends that have property to dig on but that's for private use. I do know there are places in Texas that do such a thing.
Not sure if I’m motivated or discouraged watching you find more artifacts in one video than I have in my life😂. just gonna keep lookin were blessed to be in missouri
It's very hard not finding myself wanting to fill every available moment looking for artifacts! And it was a joy to have Summer tag along to share the experience!
Grew up in St Charles in the 1960s. Artifacts were so common that we sometimes did not bother to pick them up. Used to sell them at our mom’s garage sales. Nickel her, quarter there. While the farms are almost all gone, I still find things in the local creeks.❤
Those rocks aren't calling you. Took a lot of time energy effort patience and craftsmanship to make each and every artifact found. I'm sure the artist's that made them lead n guide you to their lost piece's. So once again can be used if nothing else to be enjoyed n observed and brought back to life.
Another great video! New to arrowhead hunting found some in creeks near me. The challenge for me lately is no rain but still wanting to look. Any tips for finding them when there not on the surface?
Since I've been experiencing the same dry conditions, it's been forcing me to get into sifting. Find an area that will usually produce a relatively higher number than normal for that area and begin to poke around with more attention to details.
Great video brother. We’re connected from a past life I believe or at least on some spiritual wave length. I think we may have been the ones to make em or family to them. Do you have any native blood running through those veins? Me and Josey are part Cherokee from Chattanooga. The ones who resisted settled and refused to leave Tennessee. Joe joking says I find so many big Sandy’s because it was the only life I got right haha either way your definitely very naturally in tune like josey. I bet you could find a G10 on asphalt haha. Take care brother and happy hunting:)
I do get that sense from time to time. My mother side does have native descendants. What makes my mind go for a loop is when I will go directly to a certain spot and dig one up! That's when the hair begins to rise on your arms!
@1:11 looks like Adena (AKA Waubesa) @10:27 DEFINATELY a Dalton, which incidentally go for about 200-300$ on ebay @ 12:53 could be Etley, possible LEVY? @15:29 Looks like Snyder or Kirk Corner notch?
I love arrowhead hunting more than I really need to share. But you got to remember brother, they were very spiritual people. I’m pretty sure what ever they believed in they gifted some of them point to it. And maybe even buried them where we find them. Moral of the story, that realm is not what you want in your life. Spirits of the individuals or residual energy, definitely can cause your everyday life to go straight to hell. Never take to much out of one area where they stayed. You will see what I am talking about. And I don’t wish that on anyone.
Right on brother. Pulling some fire out of the water👍🇺🇸
💨💨🔥 thank ya
Thanks for letting this old rock hound live vicariously through you!
It's always a pleasure to read such a statement. Glad I was able to make you feel as if you were there.🙏
Nice finds buddy! Love that resharpened Dalton!
Crazy story! I had just done talking to myself about finding a Dalton or another Clovis. 😳
@@PtownRockhound I’ve definitely had that happen to me but not with a Dalton 😞
I find myself coming back to watch your videos a second time, I love to see your finds! Find anything cool lately?

Congratulations bud, nice points.
Thanks Dave. It's gotten slower due to the dry conditions. Really hope the weather improves. If not...I'm gonna have to travel🫤

It might some corny to some but I feel there is some type of connection. Sometimes stronger than other occasions but it's there.

That area was and still is rich with artifacts. I can only imagine how it must have been like before the huge wave of people to that area.
You are special .
Splendid 😊
Thank you
Awesome hunts, man 😎👊!!!
Killer saves !!!!✌️🍀
Thanks. It's been harder than I'd care for, but I'm always up for a good challenge! Thanks for stopping in to see the goodies!

Hey man love the vids, I was just curious if you owned the land you hunt on or knew any of the history of it?
I have permission that's all.
@:45 that probably killed a Bison antiquus
Where you at in Mo. I live in Mo. too just wondering, i wish there were places i could get to without a car.

The 1st on is a Waubesa in this region.

What part of Missouri are you in?? I'm 45 min. South of St.Louis ....in the Festus/ Crystal city area
You'll never catch me discussing specifics. Not in this kind of field of work.
@@PtownRockhound well I don't hunt anymore, I was just curious.
@@brianrhyneer543 and there are people that are more "curious" and will look for locations just to sneak in.

Do you mind if i ask what general part of missouri is this?
Wonder why the Paleo-Indians didn't walk the banks looking for points also?
They might have. 🤔
