How do airplanes work in games?

Aircraft are used not only as a gameplay element, but also to give the sky a more realistic look.
In this video we will look at how airspace and aircraft work in games, and different approaches and solutions game developers use to fill the sky in games. We also will look at how we can interact with planes and helicopters in some modern games.

yea i'm also waiting for it, the main curious is do we need like 4k ++ added to the skybox/hdr or it's plane generated (well, 3d object plane not plane as aircraft).
