@wagner: is Control Pro 250 compatible with alkyd based paints? These types of paints can be diluted with ether-ester thinners, turpentine thinners, etc. Is the machine compatible with these thinners? Can the machine be cleaned with ether-ester thinners after using alkyd based paints (i can only assume that these are oil based paints)?
I have use it and it's good but you can only work 20-30 minutes max after that the machine get too much heat and start to produce smoke. Correct me if I am wrong.
Hi curly 123, that depends very much on the material you have used. For water based paints you can use warm water with a bit dish soap. For solvent based paints you should use thinner. Best regards, your WAGNER Social Media Team

Hello, if you're looking for a consumer sprayer for doing work on your own home the WAGNER Control Pro 350M Airless paint sprayer would be suitable for spraying both the exterior and the interior. You can see product details and where to buy here: www.wagner-group.com/uk/do-it-yourself/products-and-accessories/product/airless-sprayer-control-pro-350-m/. If you are using Masonry paint you can only use the smooth version not the textured type for spraying. Masonry paint is usually water based which makes the paint easier to dilute and also easier to clean the machine afterwards. If it is just for the interior of the house the 250 m would be suitable. You can see a comparison of all the products here: bit.ly/3zTZM69. If you want to use a sprayer for Contractor work, you would be better to look at our Professional range of product here: ua-cam.com/channels/ce8s4xycTLZPVnmn6dL3GQ.html Kind Regards The WAGNER DIY Team
Hello The difference between the WAGNER 250M and 250R is in the construction of the machines frame. The 250M has a metal frame and the 250R is a resin/plastic frame, you can see details about both products and airless in general on this page: www.wagner-group.com/uk/guide/airless-spraying/airless-sprayers-for-do-it-yourselfers/
I find the 350 ok for smaller contracts but notice they always play music and you don't hear it in operation. Frankly it's bloody loud, like a turbo charged hoover. And WAGNER, please use someone who can actually spray. Your presenter is fanning it all over the place. Any benefit of less over spray will be wasted.
I used the 250M I brought for the first time the other day it did not got well but I think it was more my fault that the sprayers, probably need more practice with it.

Hello With the Wagner airless paint sprayers you can use most paint types and brands, you don’t need specialist sprayable paints. You can use water and solvent-based paints but I would recommend using water based paints as they are easier to dilute if required and also easier to clean up afterwards. Using paint at room temperature also make them easier to mix and spray. Both paints and WAGNER sprayer are available from DIY stores and online. Kind Regards the WAGNER DIY Team

Dear asad shah, thanks for asking! For thick materials please use the white filter! We recommend to dilute the paint, but please take a notice of the paint manufacturers data sheet. Your Control Pro Extra Set should include 3 tips (311, 515, 619). The 515 and 619 tip is for thicker materials, but the 619 is better for spraying large surfaces. So try both and decide afterwards. The setting of the pressure regulator depends on the temperature and how much you diluted the paint. You have to give it a try and find your best result. Best regards, Your WAGNER Social Media Team

Hi Martin, the Control Pro 250 or 350 M sprayers are suitable (besides dispersion and latex paints for interior use) for water-based and solvent-containing lacquers and glazes and paints, oils, release agents, synthetic enamels, PVC lacquers, undercoats, base coats, fillers and anti-rust paints. So, spraying plywood kitchen cabinets is a very good usecase. Usually this devices are intended for DIY use but commercial use is possible, too. This will work with all masonry and emulsion paints - you will just need to use the correct spray tip and check with the material manufacturer about dilution and spray settings. We do not recommend using textured masonry paint with this sort of sprayer as it cannot work with the size of spray tip required for textured paint.
Hi Adam, there are 2 different nozzles included in the scope of delivery. For thin materials like primers etc., please use the 311 nozzle, for thick materials like dispersion paints, please use the 517 nozzle.

@Wagner, do you know if I can attach a small hose, maybe 3 meters, for the 350M, so I don`t have that much blocked paint? is the 350 consuming as much as 250, which is 1L inside the installation?
Hi, the smallest hose we do for the Control Pro is 9 meters, these units have to be of a correct size to cope and deliver the pressure adequately e.g. a 3m hose on this unit would cause pulsing, as the unit couldn’t keep the hose filled to deliver more paint. This unit will deliver 9Ltr a minute as such the unit must hold a litre most of which is In the hose.
Hello, usually this would be applied with an hvlp sprayer like our W570 Flexio Universal sprayer rather than Airless Control Pro 250 as 2 pack paints have a highly aggressive solvent cellulose which will erode the seals on the Airless machine.
Hi Barry, technically it should be possible to use the Jet Roller but you would need an adapter for the thread. However, we recommend to use only WAGNER Original parts and accessories for our products. Otherwise the warranty will expire.

Will that small quantity be ok for 250M installation? I am asking because you can probably recover that with water when washing, but that is highly diluted so not good anymore.
Hello the 250M holds about a 1 Litre in the system to work therefore I would recommend 5 Litres of paint as a minimum. When you are finished the paint can be pumped back from the tubes into the original paint container. Airless sprayers are designed for spraying large areas quickly. If you have an iron fencing I would recommend looking at a smaller HVLP sprayer like the Universal W570 which can spray wood & metal including varnish and wall & ceiling paints, you can see a video here: ua-cam.com/video/PZh7i4BNmEY/v-deo.html
Masking up carefully is very important and time well spent, then the paint application and drying time is significantly quicker. Spraying can save lots of time over an entire project 👍
Yes, you can turn the tip 180 degrees and pull the trigger, whilst under pressure. This will create a jet instead of a spray flushing out any blockage that may be inside the tip. Then you Turn the tip back 180 degrees and continue to spray.
How long Wagner tips hold??? Because the price is ridiculous - 50-70 eur pr tip.. its really overpriced for finger size metal/plastic thing. But if they are so expensive, maybe I don't need to change them after every few hundred liters of paint??
Hello, how long a tip lasts is very difficult to answer as there are many things which affect the lifespan of a tip including how abrasive the material being sprayed and the spray pressure. Therefore a tip could last for only 200 litres of material or it could last for over 1,000 litres it really depends on the material.
