Me and my buddies would always play this on our double bass back in high school and our teacher would get mad (Our own stairway to heaven). Now I'm learning it on bass guitar. So many memories from this wonderful bass line.
man this is so fast for me being a beginner, but I'm giving it a go... that ghost note...i had to watch your fingers 20¹⁰ times to see how to really do it in the groove of things... thanks for this video, it's amazing you did this song too...✔️✍🏻
great to see you back up and running after the holidays. your vance joy post was awesome. took me no time to learn it. this one looks great too. cant wait to try it out when i get off work!!!
Nice to see you too Gregory! Yeah that Vance Joy song is very easy but I like to play it anyways. It is a good "feel good" song. This classic from Ben King is also very good. The bass line is so catchy. I hope you'll like it too!
You are a genius! I like this song very much (we played it in our orchestra) and you play always great. 👍👍 I like that you are so friendly to your community and check your coments!
If you're a beginner and don't feel comfortable playing so far up, you can start this on G2 instead. Gives you several free string notes giving more time for finger placement.
Dude, ¿can you play somebody to love by queen please? is a very good bass line and there is not video of tutorial or cover :/ Keep rocking and good luck :D
Hey bro. Yeah you have already posted that song. But you are right I should do more Queen. I'll look into it. I'm always afraid of Deacon's songs tho. :)
OK. I confirm that I'll do it :-). It is crazy but doable. So many notes and so many grooves. After 1hour I have only a 1/3 of the song :-(. And than I'll have to actually learn to play it. Please be patient because it'll take some time.
So after a very long time I am finally done. I must say that was a nightmare! :-D Definitely hardest song that I transcribed so far. It'll take some time to learn.
Hello again Clarke! Well that is a sick song. I never found my way into Yardbirds music. I tried to recently after I read the book from Steven Tyler "Does The Noise In My Head Bother You"? But not really my cup of tea based on a few listenings. This song is really nice. I'll do it.
ua-cam.com/video/qlJ5p-tGZY0/v-deo.html And here it is! I hope you'll like it because I really enjoyed playing it. I'll probably do "For Your Love" in the future.
Thanks! I just transposed it to guitar. Had to drop D for it tho. Set my fuzz tone all the way to bass and turned my tone knob off on guitar. BAM now my guitar is a Bass.... or at least sounds like one lol. Made a loop of it and then played a lead to the vocals! Fun! Thank you!
Great Video, helped me a lot tombegin. Thank you. How did you manage the hiss on this single coil base, I am just wondering since the recording is absoluteley clean. Thank you.
Bonjour j'apprend la basse depuis 3 mois avec un prof saurait on avoir la ligne de basse de Stan By Me en pdf et pourquoi pas avec le piano je le demande pas gratuitement merci
I didn’t realize this until I was sitting there playing it and one of my friends was like is that beautiful girls by Sean Kingston? And I was like wtf no? Then I was like oh wait I guess it is lmao
Hello Lindskov and thank you for your interest in my tabs. I am sorry but newer tabs will be only available for my Patrons. I hate to do this but I need to have something extra to offer people who choose to support me. I'll make an exception and send you a temporary link :-) enjoy it leteckaposta.cz/434895030
Something I'd like to see in some of these bass covers (and guitar ones), is a short explanation of what scales are used in the song. I was lazy for a long time and just learned the lines without taking much notice of where they fitted in the scale of things (did you see what I did there?). I can find them now but this would bring people on very fast.
Why do people feel a compulsion to make things needlessly complicated? You can literally play this song on two strings (D & G) and never have to go past the 4th fret throughout the entire song...
Greatest bass In any song ever. Definitely most iconic.
I think James Jamerson on What's Going On. Laying prone on the floor, under the influence and he comes up with bass lines like that. Just pure magic 🤗

I just picked up the ubass a week ago and this is my first song to learn. Your videos are super helpful. Thank you so much for posting.
Same, i've already know the notes it just needs some practice. Good luck :)
Great song for starters…. The bassline is an all time classic!! 👍👍👍👍
exactly what im doing right now, ubass and first song aha
time travel 😂 I bought my uBass last week, and my friend uses that play/show me this song 🎵
Every note was perfectly done! Thanks for your cover of this beautiful song from my teenage years.

Thank u homer very cool

@@karensabortionclinic7491 hey man, how’s it going? I just wanted to remind you to tune your bass to drop D and play an octave down.

My first song to learn on bass was this song and UB40’s Red Red Wine. I had lost all my notes. Thank you for this.😊

Thx this helped me with my lesson 😁😁🎸🎸
Hi Harry, great music you are making. You give me great pleasure with it.
Great work, thank you!
Can you please do " Heartfull of Soul" by the Yard Byrds?
Hello again Clarke! Well that is a sick song. I never found my way into Yardbirds music. I tried to recently after I read the book from Steven Tyler "Does The Noise In My Head Bother You"? But not really my cup of tea based on a few listenings. This song is really nice. I'll do it.

Really good Harry. Could you please do My Generation by The Who
The same base line as beautiful girls by Sean Kingston lol
Yep
I didn’t realize this until I was sitting there playing it and one of my friends was like is that beautiful girls by Sean Kingston? And I was like wtf no? Then I was like oh wait I guess it is lmao
What is Sean Kingston?
Yes. He sampled the bassline
Same like vanilla ice took the melody from under pressure by Queen and David Bowie
love your work. keep it up
thank you!! you are amazing :))
Harry if could do Stormy Monday I will owe you.
Vos vidéos sont très intéressantes, bravo! Can you make "future blues" canned heat"? Thank you!
MERCI
Nice. Would you please bass tab the song "Hey Girl" as performed by Billy Joel? The bass sounds awesome!!!
Super Channel, great Job, LG aus Bayern!
Can someone recommend something similar? Easy category but legendary. thanks!
Imagine by John Lennon.
I can't find the tabs for the song on the website you linked to. Where do I get them?

Pleas do Look of Love by ABC
Does anyone knows what key is this song in ?
Youhou ! I finally succeed to play the entire song ! 🥳
Your bass sounds good, not like others that sound like a rubber band or a bumblebee.
I like your bass, what bass is? 👀
Thank you Pizza Pie! It is a brand called Vintage, model Vj74. It is a pretty cheap instrument. People say it is better than Squier.
Harry - Music & Stuff thanks! it sounds great!
Thank you very much! I am bit struggling with the sound sometimes. So I am glad you like it! :)
@@HarryMusicStuff It isn't the tools that make the carpenter great.
today i learned why this sounds like beautiful girls so much
Really good Harry. Could you please do My Generation by The Who
sound's like sean kingston - beautiful girl
There's plenty of those done already, and you can see the compilations of the solos of John Entwistle
The starting note isn’t G?
this F# for A and for D complicates me, but I'm getting it
Why do a bass tutorial if you can't hear what your playing and your left hand hidees the notes?
00:18
It’s similar to beautiful girl
one of james jefferson's many bass lines
Why not just play in first position on the d and g strings
wait he uploaded in 50fps? how does that work? i upload in 60fps lol
good finger workout lmao
amzazing, can you tell me the chords that you play please !!!!
Que músicaaaaaaaaaa linda da poooooorraaaaaaaaaaaa

Fiest try 100
Second tru 125
Third finish, 0.5
No sound, finish all, error 6ci
2 no sound, finish all, error 8
normal speed, 1st try can
Zecond try, can but still error
This is amazing, but Im an idiot with baby hands that struggles to play it.
Si la grabación la haces más cerca
Se verán mejor
its the same bass line like in the beautiful girls
this was great but I play in mostly first position so seeing this in entirely 3rd was cursed
Why does this look different than the other way that I was taught on UA-cam to play this bassline? This s*** is confusing
Because notes see repeated all over the fretboard so there always multiple ways to plat the same song.
Why do people feel a compulsion to make things needlessly complicated? You can literally play this song on two strings (D & G) and never have to go past the 4th fret throughout the entire song...

Damn.... it does! It is the same bass line! You got good ear Erwin! Should I do that song as well?
Almost same bass line with marvin gaye.
Ligeramente desafinado...
Am I the only one who is bothered by his d string being out of tune😂
