I'm in Spanish one right now. If it is all men it is muchachos. If it is all women it's muchachas. A mixed group is also muchachos. Saying muchachos simply means a group with at least one male person.

Hola muchachos is like saying hi guys!. It is literally meant for boys, but it is used more like a gender neutral saying.
The male form is always used when referring to a group of people that contains both genders. A group of only girls would be referred to by using the feminine form and a group of males would be referred to by using the male form.

Oh my gosh, thank you for telling people to open their windows! I open mine whenever the weather permits, it just refreshes your home in a way nothing else can.
I'll be the jerk. I have allergies, and there are a zillion billion bugs - including fun things like venomous spiders - around where I live b/c I live in the country. Before throwing open those windows, make sure your screens are in good shape and that you're not inviting a nightmare allergy attack into your life.
I live in Oklahoma - allergen and bug/spider central. I have to keep my windows closed and have electric air diffusers around my home.

Yes it is, but not quite wise if there's a wildfire in the area. There's a lot of toxic gases coming out from burning trash or even plants, even if the weather seems nice and sky is blue. I would not ignore the warning from the media about it.

My niece asked for a doll for my great-niece for Christmas. She is white and puertorrican. A black doll is what I'll be getting her. I had black dolls until I was 21. My cousin begged for them.
My daughter is a white girl & with her 6 yo birthday money she selected a black baby doll (herself) & loved her & played with her for many years. I was so proud that my baby saw love & not color.
I'm white, and when I was younger my favorite doll was black :)! it was adorable

I would love a real time (no cuts or speed up) stretch video. Something I can follow along with to stretch with you. I get bored very quickly and would love to stretch like I did when I danced but just don't feel like it. A video that I can throw on the tv for a chunk of time to follow would be perfect!

Try out app called 'daily yoga', there are videos with yoga practice and there's a girl voice guide how to do things properly and that helps to relax. I love this app and after 3 weeks of beginners lessons I started considering buying a pro, that's how I like it 😃

Hola muchacho is a single male. Hola muchacha is single female. Hola muchachas is a group of females. Hola Muchachos can be either a group of all males OR a group of both males and females.
Your usage of the greeting is fine. It correctly assumes both males and females in your viewing audience.

ellimak I have a Ninja blender that I really like. But a key I’ve found for my green smoothies at home, is blending my spinach and liquid FIRST. Then adding in my fruits and powders. It seems to break the greens down better

Vitamix is expensive, but after having like 4 nutribullets that died on me after 2-3 years or sometimes less, I decided to get one. So far it is going strong after 2 years and it makes the smoothest smoothies along with other things like soups, sauces, ice cream, etc...I think its gonna end up saving me money :)
I’d love an entire video dedicated to smoothies lol. I’m about 1 week behind you in my 2nd pregnancy and smoothies save my life in the third trimester, but I’m kinda bored with the ones I’ve been using forever. Congrats on the rebrand! It’s beautiful and you can tell how genuine it is!
I love your videos Sarah! I just wanted to mention that i used to drink spinach smoothies everyday, and they gave me kidney stones! It was so shocking to figure out that something good for you can also potentially be bad for you as well! apparently spinach is high in the mineral that makes up kidney stones. (I guess i was not drinking enough water to counterbalance the spinach either). thanks for always giving awesome advice :)

Spinach IS full of calcium but that doesn't mean that our bodies absorb it! When eaten RAW, the oxalic acid interferes with the absorption of it. Make sure you cook it so it breaks down and makes the calcium and other vitamins more absorbable.
Otherwise, find an alternative to boost your calcium intake (like beans, pumpkin seeds or raisins)
Yes to this. I really enjoy Sarah's channel, but I would love if she would include more information and citations about any kind of health claim which explains why and how something has a benefit or detriment =]

Wow! Love the new intro. You're into sketching too? I am not nearly as good as you and do more doodling in a form called Zen Doodle. It incorporates patterns to help calm the mind, be creative and become stress free. It is one of my hobbies. Tea>..OMG I love tea and decaffeinated dark chocolate coffee, Earl Grey or a nice Oolong. MMM yum. LOL

I speak spanish... I'm latina. And "Hola muchachos" could be "Hello boys" for a group of just boys or "Hello guys", like referring to a group that have boys and girls. Its usually used in the second meaning. It's just there's a group of people that wants to include "MuchachEs" With an E in everything for saying "Boys or Girls" and being gender inclusive in lenguage. But using "muchachos" for a group of boys and girls is CORRECT.
If only drinking lemons and tea prevented cancer. Great video, but as a cancer survivor people must stop spreading unscientific,’ advice,’ about cancer as this is so upsetting, people actually bombard cancer sufferers with it, and also not accurate, because if it was that simple well it would be as scary as the common cold.
You can do a lot of things in order to prevent cancer and still get it, or just constantly overeat, overdrink, smoke and still won't get it. If you have it in your genes, then there you go, you'll have it anyway. But prevention doesn't mean that it's a completely useless tool, people should be rather preventive than be like "yeah I heard it does something good but what's the point of eating this, we'll all die eventually anyway." Because to me that's kind of what your comment sounded like.
I'm in the risk group for ovarian/breast cancer, so currently I'm actually trying to be preventive in as many ways as possible.
PS I'm really happy to hear you're actually done with cancer, you must be a really strong person to win with it. Wish you success in every other aspect of your life:)

Hey Sarah！I really dig the video and new format. I want to say one thing, though, that I found a bit strange. You mention essential oils multiple times in the video, and specificly the brand "Young Living". Though I like that you encourage people to talk to their doctors and don't encourage digestion of the oils, I thought I'd say two things: 1. Essential oils can be really bad for pets, and though having some odor repressants in your drawer can be okay, if people leave them in the open, it can be fatal to cats and dogs if they come into contact with it. 2. I found it odd that you endorse the brand "Young Living", as it is a known mlm/pyramid scheme and as such has been both known not to live up to the standards of the FDA as well as to drive people to ruin through their almost cultlike antics. You usually are so well researched which is why I found it weird. Please don't take this as hate, I love your channel and content, it is ment merely as confusion and concern

Especially because I love her stuff on shopping ethically and not supporting sweat shops, while the MLM model feeds off stay at home moms and guilting working moms. So many women end up in so much debt to these companies while barely making anything and end up losing friendships with their constant need to sell.
Spanish is masculine in form. If you speak to a coed group saying muchachos (the masculine form) it is acceptable. Muchachas is for speaking to women only. Keep on keeping on! XD

When I’m in a deep depression, like I was before watching this video, to the point where I am completely unable to get myself out of bed, I always come and watch your videos and I swear it motivates me every time. I instantly get up, clean my living space, drink tea or a green smoothie, gosh EVERYTHING. You can’t possibly understand how much you inspire me and motivate me to keep living. Hola muchachos means 'hello boys' ( male plural) .Hola muchachas means 'hello girls' ( female plural). Hola gente means 'hello people' (male and female plural) . Muchacho or muchacha referred to Young boy /girl, not a children and not an adult...just in between :)

I think it is really concerning that you say things like regular water with a lemon slice reduces chances of getting cancer or stroke??? That statement just put me of, I'm a nutrition student and know for a fact that you can't be making statements like that, your misleading your audience, and you shouldn't be claiming such things without being a certified nutritions, doctor or at least have have some proper studies behind this. I'm really not trying to bash you, I know if you just search "lemon water benefits" you'll probably get tons of websites that these insane undocumented benefits are listed, but that doesn't make it okey either, you'll have to educate yourself or not talk at all about topics you're not qualified to talk about :)

You're a nutritionist with mainstream education, enough said. Some studies indicate that lemons and other citrus fruits have naturally occurring substances that may have cancer fighting properties. So Sarah is not way off base.
