Hi Jeanette… great video. I have questions re puff embroidery. Does the foam used wash well and do you recommend puff on bath/kitchen towels and wearables like T-shirts? I value your opinion 🥰
Hi Tlou, I'm not sure if it will do well in the wash. Now I am curious too. I will try it. I was thinking this might be good to do on tote bags. The only thing I find is that there are not a lot of puff embroidery designs out there. Just mostly fonts.
my dear...you must use 2 clips on each clamping arm when running hats always , and on the unstructured hats you needed to use 2 layers of cutaway not tear away and cut the backing when your done , yes its an extra step but you should get the result you want instead of wreaking the hat.
Hi Ferna. It's the same way you would do a regular hat on the SE1900. I have a video on how to do hats on the SE1900. You just add the foam to your embroidery.
Ferna. It would be easier to do on a nonstructural hat on the SE1900. Remember with a structured hat you need to hold it down. I will do a video on it. As you can see in this video the unstructured hat didn't do well on the multi needle machine.
Hi Rozlynn, I use a 75/11 needle. When working on the hats use a sharp needle. When working on shirts you should use a ball point needle. I have both in the same size 75/11.
I absolutely love that you share your entire process. Such a great learning experience. Thank you
You are so welcome!
Thanks for the intro to puff embroidery. Love your videos!
You are so welcome! Glad you like the videos.
oh wowww great outcome!
Thanks!

I did my first puffy design on a single needle using a structured hat.
That hat is beautiful !
Nice job!
Thank you!
Good video thanks
I use painters tape to keep my foam in place when embroidering puff hats. Structured hats work the best for me when using puff embroidery.
Great tip! I am going to head to LOWES and pick up some.
Do you do like a applique or a regular design?
I like using both. It depends on the look you are going for. Lots of folks like puff embroidery on the hats.
Which cap frame did you choose in Embrilliance for your Brother single needle machine?
Hi Norma. I use 130mm x 60mm.
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts Which cap frame would you choose for the brother 1055X? I have the flat brim cap frame set.
😊Congratulations 🎊 on your new multi needle embroidery machine 🎉
Thank you! 😊 I am still learning the machine. I plan on doing a video on it.
Great job Jeanette! Very cool!
Thank you! Cheers!
Can you show us how you prepared the letters on Embrilliance?
I used 3D puff embroidery fonts. I don't create the fonts.
awesome is their a link to the file?
HI Angela, You should be able to find puff embroidery files on Etsy. They have several designs.
Thanks Jeanette! I bought puffy foam last month but haven't tried it yet. Maybe now I'll have the courage! :)
Hi Janice. I really like the way it came out. Just wish there were more embroidery designs for puff embroidery. They are hard to find.

Thanks for this video. Where did you get the Puff files from. Can you add a link plz
Hi Lucy! Search for puff embroidery file on Etsy. They have different types of fonts available.
Hi Jeanette, I'm still struggleing with cap frame, but will have another go at it.
EB Bram, Hat are not easy to do but once you get the hang of it you will be golden. Buy a bunch of really cheap hats to practice on.
Where did you get your fonts for puff embroidery?
The link to the font is in the video description.
Hello beautiful, thank you is amazing. in love with this option !
Glad you like it! I just wish there were more files for puff embroidery. These files are hard to find.
That looks awesome! Thank you for sharing! What machine did you use for this?
I used my Brother.
Thank you so much Jeanette!!!
You are so welcome! This video was fun to do!
What size needles you use on hats on the brother se1900?
Hi Lacey on the hat I recommend using a Sharp 75/11 needle.
Thank you great video
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it
What thread do you use?
For this project I use Simthread. I use several brands for embroidery.
Is this the same foam that you get in Michaels or do you need to purchase this specific foam?
Hi! This is foam I purchased from amazon. It's designed for puff embroidery.
You can get it from Michael’s also
Hi Jeanette, I was wondering, what hat frame are you using ?
I was using the hat hoop for the Brother 670e.
What size are the letters? What size do you usually do a design?
Hi Fun. I believe these are 1 inch. I sometimes make them a little smaller to ensure they fit correctly in the hoop area.
Could you of used a sticky stabilizer on the instructed hat?
Yes. I use that when I am embroidering a hat on a single needle.
Wao!! Me encantó tu video! ❤🇵🇷
Hi Dayaniss. Gracias!!!

Hello Jeanette, can I use the Sulk form on my SE1900?
Sorry disregard comment because you stated it can be done on my SE1900.
Hi Betty. Have fun doing this! It's lots of fun!!!
This looks awesome! Did you have this digitized with those letters?
Hi ADSpring! I purchased the fonts. Make sure you get Puff Embroidery Fonts. You can't do this with regular fonts.
Can you please try it on SE1900? Thanks Jeanette
Hi Ferna. It's the same way you would do a regular hat on the SE1900. I have a video on how to do hats on the SE1900. You just add the foam to your embroidery.
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts oh i see.. okay i will try that week.. Thank you.

Would have been better if you had centred the design on the seem always trace your design so you know if your centred
I was pleased with the turn out!
@@BoricuaSewingCrafts the turn out was great just suggesting if you trace the design the W would have been clear of the seem
I love watching your videos! What size needle did you use?
Hi Rozlynn, I use a 75/11 needle. When working on the hats use a sharp needle. When working on shirts you should use a ball point needle. I have both in the same size 75/11.
Love your voice! Where r u from? Ny?
Hi Anointed One! Yes. I am a NYRican!!!
no lighter heat gun
Nope. It didn't need it.
