Yes, more videos please...I have a PE800 that I have yet to use for for over 1 year now...I will start by watching videos on this machine and go from there
We have an embroidery business with 3 of the Ricoma CHS2-1508 machines and a few Melco and Ricoma single heads for customizations. We use 75/11 needles for basically everything including 3D puff hats. We also run our puff hats around 650 spm and slow down to 600 for smaller detail. If your hat is hooped correctly and your presser foot adjusted to the correct height, you should never have needle breaks. When you hoop your hats, make sure you’re pulling tension to get the panel as flat against the hooping station as possible before clamping it in. If done correctly, you don’t even need the clips for structured hats. Also, only use foam specifically made for 3D puff embroidery. Craft foam might be less expensive but if you’re hooping correctly and your digitizing is good and you’re still breaking needles, it’s your foam. Craft foam doesn’t break away as easy and is too dense. 90 needles should be reserved for thick leather like on saddles, etc…
Super cool ❤ the hats 🧢 came out awesome 🤩 love them. Thanks for teaching us love. Stay blessed bestie 🥰 p.s. I hope you didn’t hurt your eye at the end 🙏🏽
Hi Crystal, I hope you can answer my question... I have a printer epson ecotank et-8550 and a heat press von Vevaro . I used Sublimation paper 120g of brand A-Sub . I tried printing on a polyester pillow and a polyester sweater but it doesn't work. the color don´t trasfer. I used a temperature of 350°F for 40 seconds. What is the Problem?
Thanx! I would love some tips on the density or stitch count for Puff style hats. I use a brother 6 needle and brother software so I may not be using the same term for Ricoma. But basically how thick should the stitch out be ??
You are great. I learned so much from you for such little time. I just bump into your vlog. I was about to purchase a 10 needle RICOMA embroidery machine, but too scared. I just purchased a Brother Luminaire XP2 embroidery machine last year for almost $20k. I have been garment sewing for almost 53 years but pretty new to embroidery. Is this a good brand? RICOMA? Thank you.
hi crystal. thanks for ur awesome tips. CAN U PLS CLARIFY FEW DOUBTS - 1. is there any way to use any white or any colored htv vinyl, which is not specifically sublimation vinyl. Because i saw few very cheap heat tranfer vinyls (generally used for vinyl printing on t-shirts) but sublimation vinyls are way costlier.. 2. or can u find a way in which i can print on dark t shirts with sublimation but without the vinyl or any other super cheap way to save on margins while selling
I would invest in some poly T spray a little goes along way spray all your shirts as you get them in so they are ready to go. I get the 16oz this will give you the most natural sublimation look and feel www.dyepress.com/poly-t-plus-sublimation-coating-for-cotton-cotton-blends/
Hi crystal, i am fan now ... thanks a lot for this video and ur parchment paper hack.. u r simply awesome.... I am repeating this question just to get ur attention, sorry but u are so cool 😊 Just few questions about parchment paper hack - 1. does this work on dark clothes too? Like on 100% pure cotton black color.. 2. does it produce t shirt prints durable enough to sell on amazon with good customer feedback. I mean does it fade or bleed after washing 40 or more times. If i use best sublimation ink and epson l1800 printer
Hi Crystal. I'm just missing your videos. Hopefully everything is ok. God Bless ❤
