This guy got Yngwie perfectly mimicked in this cover , I love Yngwies old tone from the early 80s it was so much better than his tone today
I absolutely agree with you
@@vicentcarro Thank you \m/
Exactly...the touch with that little gain
@@tilte2488 Yeah proof it's all in the hands , for example I've got a cheap 20 year old Encore Les Paul copy , just by adjusting the action and intonation , It plays as well as any Epiphone, I can get good Yngwie or Slash tones from it and honestly would not pay £1200 for a Gibson it's not going to make me a better player , I like the crap cheap Guitars as they make me work harder to get a good Tone 👍 if that makes sense
When Yngwie's playing was still breathing and his phrasing was immaculate.....
In recent years I think he forgot his guitar has a volume knob. I love how he used to turn it down a little and had full control over the amount of distortion. Very emotive. Now it's full blast and damn the torpedoes. Of course, he's got his fans that love that too, but I wish he'd be less compressed and chaotic than he is nowadays. We'll see what his new album is like coming this summer. The song he pre-released sounds like more of the same, but at least the production has improved.
Problem is Yngwie once said, “more is more.”
True
@@KarstenJohansson I saw yngwie play twice this year and he is actually better now than ever... I felt that what he had lost over the years he has back in two fold now. Unreal feel and more natural than ever..
@@mikebeaulieu3620 You've seen Yngwie play this year twice, but how many times did you see him play in the 80s?
One of Malmsteens masterpieces.....That first record has remained a favorite of mine
If you take the first record and then listen to anything after alchemy, it's really hard to believe that it's the same guy. Marching out and trilogy still have a lot of that brilliant playing. The other albums afterwards had pretty decent songwriting. After alchemy it went downhill both in the writing department as well as his playing. And now it's just sad really
I will always say this: early yngwie riffage is criminally underrated. Everyone focus (rightfully so) on his lead playing, but those first two albums riffs are bangers after bangers. Excellent playing too in this vid.
It's in the little details man. You nailed it
Thank you, I appreciate the comment.
Indeed, I played these songs over and over as a teenager in the 80's... Recognized those small details that makes all the difference.. Great interpretation!
yes I prefer this covers then ones that are similar but not the same
Song titled after a girlfriend of his. The first solo in this little masterpiece is I think the best he ever written. It was at a tie when Yngwie didn't know that more is more but that less is more. I wished he could pull the break on his playing on the albums after Eclipse. After that it went mayhem. He kept it together on Alcatraz songs and his three first solo albums.
Peter's level of technical ability shown here is truly amazing. Advanced playing that is so difficult to achieve. Many nuances in his technique.
That is perfect
Little savage is one of my favorite YJM song 👍👍👍👍
I can't believe this, jaw dropping, speechless, it's a must see video
Yngwie needs to watch this video , He could learn a thing or 2 from this dude \m/
I'm impressed with the level of detail, many guitarists like to improvise on top of Malmsteen's compositions, but you really excel at the smallest details, and that's what I was looking for in the hundreds of Malmsteen covers I've watched. Congratulations!!! In my opinion you are the number one in taking Malmsteen songs exactly as in the recording!!! I just subscribed to your channel, do you have "Now Your Ships are Burned" ? A master hug!!!
Thank you for the kind words, I appreciate it. Correct, I try to pay attention to details. You are the second person this week to request "ships", I'll have to move it higher up on my future video list.
@@ClassicSoloSpotlight Now Your Ships are Burned is one of my favorite Malmsteen songs, I can't wait to see your absolutely perfect and phenomenal cover!!!
Magistral, el solo lento impecable y casi imposible de escuchar en otros covers!
My favorite Yngwie song ever.
Love the note at 2:39. Incredible job.
All the best from the Bay Area.

Such an amazing cover. Well done. This song is beautiful and never gets old.
My Favorite from Yngwie's best album...Played absolutely perfect here..Wow❤
Superb!
100% perfect. Literal note for note cover, incredible! Love the riffage with van Halen-esque harmonics at 4:35
I keep coming back to this
You are scary man , this is super accurate
It's like playing two rising force cds at the same time lol
Lol!😂
Beautiful
I don’t think the current Yngwie could even play it this well.
Jättebra! Absolutely stellar job
I couldn't put into a comment how much I appreciate this. 💯
Incredible, so smooth and painless performance. Great job!!

Flawless, you nail every little detail, unbelievably perfect

Very clean and nuanced. Love your tone. Good job!
Espectaculario bravisimo maestro! 💯
really impressive!!!
This song has it all, great composition, complex but beautiful, fast and melodic. You nailed it note by note so precisely. Thank for making this great cover❤❤❤
👏🏻 very nice job! Yngwie would be proud !!
It's so amazing that I fall in love with it. It's already beyond the original song. The last riff is too cool and gives goose bumps.
Badass!!!Great job!!!
Fantastic cover 👏
Yngwie in the 80s journey. I love it.
Very well justified. One of my all time fav YJM tracks.
that harpsichord line is nuts...
Those string ends look absolutely deadly! Nice playing dude!
Mi favorita de Malmsteen, te quedo perfecta 👌 Felicidades.
Bravissimo
Perfect
He even hit the note at 2:39 just for good measure. Absolute perfection!
Awesome, from Brasil!!!
Wow!.. this guy is very good... like it!..
Your videos are both a testament of the artist and hommage to the artist. Like a time capsule.
This is good on many levels.
Very perceptive comment. 100% correct. My goal is to highlight the original musical parts.
Bravo!
Wow!!! He is the one!!!
Beautiful 👌👍
Thanks mate
Absolutely amazing! I subbed!
Brilliant, amazing job!
Thank you.
Omg.... Lost for words. Nailing it is not worthy of this. Absolutely stunning...
Thank you again. Glad you enjoyed it.
Great job. You understand when to do a quick, subtle slide up to a note to start a section. So many clones out there start on the note and miss these small details that are important - AND so simple. Drives me crazy.
Yes, that's a big part of emotional impact. If done right.
Great! Thank You!
You're welcome!
Great guitar skills, man...bravo!
Amazing man, so clean, amazing technique too
Thanks, I appreciate the comment.
Fantastic man! It's flawless
Thank you. Appreciate the comment.
Crack! You are a genius!
Thank you.
Sick🤘🏼
Класс !!!!! молодчина. !!!!
very good
Great.!!! Congrats..!!! 👏👏👏
Thank you!
Excelente hermano
Awesome man !!!
Hola, felicitaciones, saludos desde Argentina!.
Why i found it 2 years after. Incredible.
Excellent cover! Keep on Rockin’
Thanks, will do.
One day I'm gonna play this!! 🎸🌪🎸 🦈🌪🦈
From someone who listened to this weekly since 1986 (due to my father), I'm impressed with the precision of every detail. I don't think even Malmsteen can play this true to his own piece in this day and age.
Jesus bro. This is fantastic
Thank you sir
Very good. You even got the tone right. Early Yngwie is the most musical.
He started a genre that nobody to this day has come close to the rising force album is a masterpiece
bravo
Absolutely totally and utterly amazing.
Your playing and tone is spot on and respectful too.
Back in the day when he played with amazing clear tone and not drenched in echo and reverb.
His and your playing is something to behold .
He had so much to say in his first three solo albums.
More please
Thanks. A lot more is coming.
Holy shit man! Talk about nailing a tune!
Ridiculouly good.
Ficou ótimo!!! Parabéns pela performance e dedicação!!! Like e ganhou mais um inscrito!!!
Your ability to reproduce solos is unbelievable. More accurate than a Swiss watch! Amazing, Amazing and Amazing!😮👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🏆🏆
Right on brother! Cheers
Monstro
Wow Awesome bro. Keep'em coming 🤘
Thanks, I will.
5:01 you're killing it man
Ur pick hand/style/attack is remarkably similar. Amazing stuff sir. I know I’ve already commented before, but I was 14 when I listened to these albums nonstop. I got fairly advanced, but not on a level like this. So impressive. Especially with actual track playing behind you.
wow.
Respect.
Thank you.
