I’m so happy you like my recommendations! I’m a licensed esthetician in Illinois. I do have dry, mature skin for reference. I can never make the miracle powder sponge work for me... does it work better with wet + loose powder or dry + pressed powder etc?

@@michellesimmons2756 I find it works best wet with any powder, cream, or liquid. For pressed powder, I definitely use a stipple motion to not invite any cakiness. If it’s not bouncy enough for your liking; try their miracle airblend sponge (blue one). It’s even softer.

Those Essence liners are the Best! I'm super oily too, AND live in a hot climate, and that liner stays put until I take it off. I bought every neutral color, and wear them daily; the formula is consistent through the neutral shades. When I want a smokey look, Espresso is my favorite!

It has some Vitamin C in it too, so I wear it alone sometimes, but I like it under my makeup too. I am definitely going to look for the setting powder too. Love drugstore makeup when it’s good! before you fixed the cateye tail, your eye lid looked like you had painted a snail on it. the green shades are the rounded shell and the whoopsy tailed liner look like its head and antenna things.

So many hidden gems.The dark concealer as blush is one of the best. Try the Wet & Wild camo concealer a little goes a long way and it’s long lasting. Thank you for always sharing such great videos!
Beautiful eye look, that Essence eye palette looks incredible. The WnW translucent powder is great for keeping my oily skin matte, I keep it in my bag for touch ups which is rare, maybe on a very hot day I use it, otherwise it really does hold up.

Ok, Zabrena! I've had all the Essence 6-pan palettes in my hands at one time or another, but haven't bought. I think maybe I've thought they were just too good to be true. Kinda like the previous generation Wet N Wild shadows. The Essence Dancing Greens must come home with me now! I have a video idea. A make-up tutorial you would make for your daughter or son when they would be middle school age, high school age, and working adult. OR, half face when you were middle, school, high school, and working adult WITH the other half of the face of what you would do now if you would suddenly be those ages again today. It would be cool to see the time travel of make-up/self-expression based on product availability/ social beauty ideas :) It's like the future episode of your make-up history videos haha
Zabrena, as a fellow fair, oily skin, Florida girl I have a suggestion for knocking down the powdery look and helping to set your face all day. Caudalie makes a product called grape water that is great for sensitive skin and it comes in an aerosol can. You get 6.7 Oz for only $18. I give my face a quick Spritz with that and then immediately follow with my setting spray and my makeup does not budge all day long, not even under a mask!

A full face of Believe Beauty products from Dollar General would be fun to see, I've been using their primer, eyeshadow, blush, bronzer, highlighter and foundation for quite a while now and love them all
She has a few reviews on their makeup but they're a few years old.
I go in there everyday since it's across from my apartment. I keep eyeing their stuff

Loved it thank you for these recommendations I definitely found some new products to try. 😍 The green eyeshadow palette looks amazing on you. I love that L’Oreal eyeliner too it’s my fave 😍. I don’t know if you noticed but actually you can take out the stencil by slipping it out on the side and use it for the wing. Just in case I just thought I would tell you. Essence as a brand actually is such a hidden gem itself.
