Good point about not listening to others when choosing a car. I tried BMW/McLaren initially, but turns out I am fastest in Audi/Nissan, just think they suit my driving best and I feel most comfortable in them.

When you adjust the right and left margins for the triple screen...... You can just click it down once, and it will jump to 1920, instead of holding the up button all the way to 1920. Should save you a few years next time you need to set it up! ;)

Can't wait to try LFM, but I showed off my sim rig to some friends over the weekend and they completely ruined my SR in a few tryouts :-) It's going to be fun recovering from that... not. :-)

Going to give this a watch. I've had ACC on PC and Console. Firstly with a controller. I've just bought a T300 wheel. After watching reviews on starter wheel's. Also just downloaded the PS5 upgrade. So this video dropped at the right time.
Nice to see someone on the same way as me haha bought a t300rs and acelith gt wheel and acc on ps5 and two dlc for it

I don't know about farming I think its a bad Idea, because you will loose out on race-craft. Meaning your safety rating will bounce up and down like crazy. Best to jump in the deep end on open lobby's and learn how others drive. If you can keep you rating above 85 when all around you others are loosing theirs , then you will be a racing driver my son
Hey Dan. Since you mentioned Real Head Motion, I wondered if you could help me with the issue I have. I thoroughly enjoy the software, but since the 1.8 update on ACC, it hasnt worked properly. In every race I do, the camera goes completely insane and more often than not, I find my camera to be upside down and sometimes even facing backwards. Just wondering if you have any idea what might cause this, as it would be really nice to get that fixed
Note to new viewers: Ideal tyre pressure is around 27.3, but between 26 an 27, but more like 26.8 ish for warmer tracks.

I would recommend Borderless Gaming over SRWE. Borderless Gaming can apply it's settings automatically, and works flawless in my opinion.
I thought you use dlss if you have an nvidia cpu and fsr for amd. If you have a 3080 is fsr doing anything. I'm new to this so please if I'm wrong tell me

As a rookie on ps5, can you tell me how to go from 2.11 to 2.1 laps on bathurst 😅 have copied a 1.59 lap setup on my Bentley and driving lap after lap but I'm stuck at 2.11 laps and finding it hard to get faster
is it me or do I have to turn the steering wheel a loooot in ACC compare to another simracing games? Steering wheels degrees are correct for each car to be the same as ingame.

one ez tips for new ppl use the mecca or bmw those require no skill to go fast i know i may get some hate saying that but when you will reach 1 k hour in game you will agree with me and remember not cus you run fast lap you know how to race with other ppl around you

I’m curious how the GT racing compares with IRacing? I’m very happy with IRacing, but mainly for the open wheel cars. I’ve thought about AC, but admittedly I don’t know much about it.

Hallo Dan, kann man die Totzone vom Gas mehr als 100% verstellen?
Mein Problem ist, dass ich die BJ Hydraulic Pedale habe und hier schon über 75% von Haus aus als Totzone eingestellt ist, Iracing habe ich keine Probleme aber bei ACC gibt er automatisch Gas, da ich hier nicht kalibrieren kann!?
Hast du eventuell eine Idee?
Firmware updaten auf die neuste Version die die BJ Software jetzt unterstützt - damit sollte es kein Problem mehr sein :)

Hi, thanks again for all the info. I’ve got this qúestion tho.. On my lfm profile it says: “Patreon ID: false” And i’m not sure what it means. I dont have a patreon account but do i need one? I mean, why does it say its false.
Now i’m thinking that my rookie license will never show because of this but i’m not sure.. Cab someone help me out with this? Thanks in advance
You don’t need patreon - this is if you want to support the developers which is welcome, but definitely not required :)
@@DanSuzuki Thats what i thought. Its just that it said: false id. Strange, and its still there. So i wasn’t sure if the effort of running around Misano could be of any use. Not sure if laps where registered. They’re kinda tough those license runs ; )

Would have been useful to mention Racelab application that could also be very useful for starters!
Racelab is in Part 3 :)
And maybe check if the Racelab tutorial works for ACC and improve 😁. I cant get the Racelab overlays to appear on my screen
@@massivebass2088 It's pretty straightforward though. Just need to check if broadcasting.json file matches with racelab settings (settings => connection tab). Everything is explained in the support menu in the app. If you have troubles making it work, just head over to our discord channel and we'll give you support
@racelab Tried it again today both with that top line in json on 9000 with the ASD as password and with 9001 and ADS removed as password. ACC in windowed mode.but the overlays somehow don't appear in ACC. I also cannot drag the overlays out of the Racelab window, as some tutorial showed. Pity
@@massivebass2088 That sounds like you didnt pay attention to how racelab works. 9000 and 9001 are not the same. Make sure your broadcasting.json file has the same details as in racelab. IT cannot be simpler than this, you just need to align these two places to have the same settings.
Also if you look some tutorial videos you'd undersand that ovrelays are LOCKED when you open racelab. It means you cannot move them. To move them you have to unclock the overlays by using the unlock button on any overlay setting page using the lock button.
IT's very simple, you just need to play around with it.

Drive very close to other cars in online races, what worked well for me is let everyone lap you and then follow the last car closely

Proper dissapointed in ACC not updating the PS4, Partly my fault for not buying a PC an buying a console, Struggling to find the money for a PC, An damn it's hard to get any sort of sponsor or discounts, But yeah I do feel abandoned after buying all the DLC packs but still no 1.8 update, You have to buy a PS5 for the ability to have the new tracks ect, There's not enough vids explaining the fact that for Proper sim racing you needs a PC, I'm sorry but it's purely how limited the PS4 is from PC, I never knew that when I began sim racing, All I seen was vids saying to begin sim racing with a console, End of the day if you like watching racing on TV then you're going to love sim racing, Makes it more than just a game when it helps me deal with CPTSD symptoms as it's not triggering for me, And helps with anxiety, Great for restless legs, People who suffer anxiety will know what I'm saying, Honestly I didn't realise Sim Racing Actually helps me focus on something that I enjoy, Mental health is not good let's just say, But sim racing can help put your mind into a great place of passion for being the fastest even tho sim racing is Partly fun, I take it seriously...

Always go with your gut, That's another thing I learned in sim racing....
I got 83 on my safety, So yeah I'm getting better, My rig is having problems with the force feedback with ACC, It's not about turning the forcefeed down, But the steering wheel stem is having issues, Again my fault for buying cheap set up, Honestly if you want to get into sim racing, Just buy top equipment, You buy more than once when you buy cheap, Trust me coz I have, Again I tried to get a sponsor for a rig, But everyone said no, lol, NLR, Omega GT, Fanatec, No one wants to help me set up a UA-cam, I do question now if high end equipment will make you faster, I dint know, Don't even know what a DD wheel is like see, So I can't say if high end equipment will make you faster, You defo needs a solid rig, One thing you can't cheap out on is the rig, A solid steering stem is a must....
I will get upgrades in time, I'm just inpatient, But I do believe I can hold my own on the track definitely the Nordshliefe lol, Massive shame the Nordshliefe cant be put on ACC as an extra bit of content for the sim racers support lol....
I got start learning different tracks but the only way I can go on the tracks thats in the new updated ACC got is by going on project car's 2, Now I wrote that it sounds crazy, lol coz myself, I would prefer ACC bit it is what it is....

Hi there, ACC on pc is very different, the physics are different. My son uses ACC on PS5, and I play on pc. I have the full rig with DD1, my son has G29. I have used the G29 it used to be mine. The mind set changes when you use a direct drive wheel. You can drive more on ‘feel’ whereas with the G29 you use your memory more. Also the DD is more accurate. It’s easier to hold a straight line an inch from the edge of the track. You also feel dips as the steering goes lighter. To sum up, it is better to have a DD but not essential to be fast as plenty of ‘aliens’ out there are on G29’s.
@@99chrisbling Well said bruva, I was thinking of passing my old wheel an ect to my daughter when I've upgraded to a PC and DD wheel, It will happen one day, The upgrade lol, Yeah I can see a lot of people still being fast with a logitech, Coz I can be fast myself, I will be buying a PC soon enough, The prices are coming down so it means a better PC now, Coz got the same sort of budget, I can understand how a PC is different coz it would be more accurate and replicate more details ect, Better processing power will do that, lol, I bet its wicked seeing your kid bust a bad ass lap, Can't fault it bro, I will probably pass my old equipment to my daughter when I upgrade, If I'm good at it then so should my daughter lol, Joke, There is always someone out there faster than yourself lol.....
I'm going to actually spend few hours on ACC today, I ain't done much in the GT4 cars so will have a blip on them I think, I love the Aston Martin GT4 so might spend few hours on that, I want that SA to be in the 90s, I'm in the 80s at the moment.....
Yeah I will find out what the difference is between the PC and PlayStation soon enough bro, Hopefully will be faster, I'm getting pro times tho so it's not that bad, Lol....

@@99chrisbling Hey I got your ask, I got offered a liquid cooled PC without the grafic card for 300 qiud, Is that worth it, Sounds a top little deal to me, He built it for VR so I know triples won't be an issue, But yeah 300 qiud and 600 for the grafic card, Might be a viable option for me, I'm pretty sure tho a liquid cooled PC no grafic card is worth 300 pounds yeah???

problem with LFM is they want you to buy other peoples cars for money why not just use the cars and tracks already in the game
