Hi I'm planing to make this cake but for filling can I use ur cream recipe mixed with instant vanilla pudding ? Do u reckon it ll be stable enough ?
Thank u
Love ur videos
Thank u so much for sharing them
+Heba Salama Yes, you can use the Vanilla Cake Cream filling for this cake. We used it for the Tall Choc Caramel Drip Cake and it was very stable. You can see the video that shows you how we used it at this link: ua-cam.com/video/IlZyjRRCdEg/v-deo.html Thanks for watching! More great videos to come :-)
Is no one else seeing tortillas chips on the top? It's all I can see.
Totally amazing, still.
+Landis Darling Love your interpretation! Thanks for watching :-)
It would be great if you cut a slice. Beautiful work
+Mr. Trap Great feedback, thanks and thank you for watching :-)
what cake can i use for this?
would you suggest pound?
You can definitely use pound cake. Any cake that is not as light as a sponge would be fine. Tall cakes tend to be made with more dense cakes :-)
I might be slow lol but what is thick cream? Very PRETTY!!😍😍
In Australia we call Whipping Cream Thickened Cream :-)
Cupcake Savvy's Kitchen thank you so much! The cake is so amazing😊😍
Thank you for your kind words :-)
How much each cakepan did u use?
Did you have recipe or tutorial about how to do tall cake or not.
Sawaruj Kuansongtham I have several videos on Drip style tall cakes you can view to pick up tips and tricks.
What size cake tin did you use?
They are 5" cakes :-)
I am overcome by your creativity
+Maths With Jacob Thanks so much :-)
hi!! can you tell me what do you do with the scraped buttercream?? do you reuse it later? save it?
+Camille Arrivillaga Yes, I reuse it. If you scrape anything with crumbs in it, place that in one bowl and when you scrape "clean" buttercream scrape that into another and it can be reused later or used for patch-ups. The buttercream with the crumbs in it can be used for cake pops. Thanks for watching :-)
Thank you very much!!! Beautiful cakes!!!!!
+Camille Arrivillaga :-)
where can I find the recipe for the cake?
Where did you get your frosting scrapers from I can't find one anywhere that's tall enough
+Emely Santana I got mine from a specialty Cake Decorating shop. Also, if you search on Ebay for a "tall cake scraper" you might have some luck. Thanks for watching :-)
+Cupcake Savvy's Kitchen thank you so much just ordered mine ☺️
Great!
Is there a recipe for the cake used?
Who's the 12 idiots who don't like this madness it's beautiful
Thank you ;-)
Lol
It seems like the ganache dripped better while it was thinner is it a reason you prefer it to thicken first
It definitely drips better thinner. It begins to set rather quickly when the cake is chilled. I had to reheat it slightly to thin it out a bit ;-)
Cupcake Savvy's Kitchen yes I just made mine this morning and it set super quick I was surprised at how quickly. I seen Rosie's Dessert Spot do hers she made it look easy but I guess practice makes perfect. I love the drip trend!
Yes, it does set quick! Adding cream will help to thin it out a bit. Add it to a chilled cake and it will set as it drips down. Once you have found that sweet spot between the ratio of cream and chocolate. you'll be on your way! LOVE Rosie's channel! :-)
I can't get over the fact that you called the ganache 'drip sauce' xD
+Lunar That's because it drips over the edge ;-) Thanks for watching!
Please what does it mean "thickened cream" I have no clue , and need to make a cake this Friday !!
In Australia we call Whipping Cream Thickened Cream.
@@CupcakeSavvysKitchen ohhh got you. Thanks!
How many inches high would you say this cake was?
It was around 8" tall :-)
i want the cake recipe please..
I have two cake recipes in my videos that are suitable...one scratch chocolate and one scratch vanilla :-)
Cupcake Savvy's Kitchen thank you so much... 😃
As elegant as The Leaning Tower of Pisa.
+kipkenya Thanks! Hopefully mine is not leaning too much :-)
How can you color your SMBC so well? :(
+Austin Dayacap I find I get a better result using Gel food colours. They will intensify over night and get slightly darker.
Cupcake Savvy's Kitchen I use gel colors as well, but I end up with smbc that has white specks in it, like the color don't mix in really well.
Maybe keep mixing...it sounds like the mixture may be slightly curdled or split. The recipe I use has never curdled on me and it takes colour really well. It might be worth giving it a try to see how you go :-)
How tall is this cake please?
Approx 20cm...Can remember exactly...sorry!
i tried this without watching a video and failed SO hard
Now that you have watched the video you should have better luck :-)
Like the video but don't want to spend 75% of the video watching a basic cake being iced.
75% of people do ;-) Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to leave feedback :-)
Oh my those drips were not neat and pretty at all!
I always give the recipient what they want. If they want thick and chunky drips, that's why they get, if they want thin drips, that's what they get. It's all about giving them what they want ;-)
Too much trouble to make I’d rather just watch
