Riding a motorcycle can be exciting, but always remember to wear the appropriate protective gear. This video clearly demonstrates why it's important to follow traffic laws and not treat public roads as a race track.
We always encourage safe riding, which will surely contribute to more satisfying rides.

I'm watching your videos for two or three years, I've never told you that you're always doing a good job with your videos and thank you for that.
Hi, i,m from Germany and the last Videos i had an age control. Do you know why? Thanks
@1:56 "Learned how to ride in 4 hours". Are you telling me that you are riding without a permit, alone and with no gear? Life is short as it is.
"Learned to ride 4 hours ago" is about as sus af. It's like I hopped on a bike, twisted the throttle and the bike went forward so I know how to ride. Yeah, that's not how it works.
Too bad the teacher didn't tell him that's not really a beginner's road.
What does permit have to do with learning to ride hours?
He was told "First you need to go pro" and completely misunderstood.
and on what appears to be a showroom new bike.
Learned the basic operation of a motorcycle 4 hours ago, you just got your first lesson on how to ride.
now he need to learn how to use a motorcycle jacket and gloves
Yep I did signed up for the MSF after that and this was back in 2021 still riding to this day
@@coffeecool5190lmfao yep my family made sure I got gear after that so ended up getting a jacket, gloves, riding jeans, and riding boots. Later got a icon armoured compression shirt for when it’s 110°F out
I am amazed at what Americans are allowed to ride with so little training 😮
@@darkflame386Good for you dude.
1:18 "My first crash" meaning you're not going to learn a damn thing and keep riding like an idiot.
9:39 Did this dude try to rev bomb a train? 😂
I learned how to ride a motorcycle when I was just a little kid. By myself. Biking is a solo undertaking. If you can't ride you damn sure can't ride double.
@@greggrace967
Someone nominate this for the dumbest take on internet award, please
Right yet here I am 4years later still riding learned from my mistakes took the MSF course
And can you explain why I won’t learn from this? Because in reality I did learn from it knowing what the situation was. Ofcourse on video you don’t know the whole situation so I don’t blame anyone for having a opinion :)
9:56 "scooter almost hit me" ..... 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yeah the same person probably has a caption "car almost killed me" when a car merged unsafely in another city.
😂😂😂
These snowflakes wouldn't last a second riding in a place like Taipei, where scooters are commonly riding shoulder-to-shoulder. And that's on a light traffic day. 😂
It's pretty rude to pass someone in their own lane, and it could easily cause an accident. It's fine if that's the local custom because you know what to expect, but if not, then it's rude and dangerous.
Some of the riders should better pay for gear instead of camera’s 😅
I'm thinking they should pay for a bus pass instead.
That is a great take for sure.
Ooh yes! You nailed it!
🤘🏻😉
Why to get cameras instead of proper gear for ride a goddammit motorcycle!!?
1:59 False, you still haven't "learned to ride" like how slow were you going and you couldn't navigate that turn?? Absolutely no business being on public roads. You're going to hurt yourself.
Obviously did that 🤦🏻♂️ and no shit learned that I didn’t know shit the hard way. Signed up for the MSF course after that
1:51 learned how to ride 4 hours before that road and already had a gopro... maybe learn to ride before worrying about recording yourself.
I'm Dutch, and I've been following motorcycle lessons for months. I've completed a theoretical exam, a special manoeuvres exam, and I'll have my road exam in two weeks. Always surprises me how little Americans have to do to be allowed on a bike. Less surprised to see them crash in videos like this.
Looks like he never rode a bicycle before this also 😅
If I've learnt anything from this channel, it's that some US riders will buy a gopro, set up a youtube channel, design a logo, sell hoodies, all before they actually figure out how to safely ride a bike.
I've seen quite a few of these guys. "First ride home from the dealer" GoPro and almost no gear, and zero experience.
_"I learned to ride 4 hours ago"_ How to tell everyone you don't know how to ride without saying you don't know how to ride.
ugh 8:10 try the brakes instead of the horn, you're not going to win that collision
Omg I was thinking about the same thing!
While riding a motorcycle you should always assume that cars don't see you
Made that mistake once where I assumed they saw me... never again.
Also assume everyone around you is an idiot, because that's likely the case.
@@croaton07I’ve been riding for 34 years … I go out with the mindset people are intentionally trying to kill me…
I had a High-Viz jacket and my Bonneville always runs with it's headlight on, guy stilled pulled across me.
@@croaton07Judging by a lot of these videos, the biggest idiot most riders need to worry about is themselves.
8:05 may be apply brakes cold be a possibility?
Impossible, he was in the right.
What a silly thing to say. We wouldn’t have seen this clip then!
Seriously, dude made a poor decision and literally rode straight at a truck in his way.
‘Learned to ride 4 hours ago’
Dunning & Kruger win again
Well, at least he can learn from the experience and the video. Dunning/Kruger will only kick in if he continues to constantly fail.
1:00 The motorcycle didn't hit the white Tesla, the Tesla hit the motorcycle!
Yeah, maybe so, but the Tesla wouldn't have hit me.
Yeah nah. The motorbike hit the Tesla. I don't know where the entitlement come from, if you are splitting it is 90% your fault. Learn to split or don't split.
The Tesla left its lane and hit the biker who was driving in a straight line... They failed to make a safe merge. 100% fault (as long as lane SPLITTING is legal in their location)@@smileyfacefrown2723
@smileyfacefrown2723 what are you talking about ? the biker was splitting the lane just fine he was speeding the Tesla Changed lanes way too fast and didn't look to see if it was safe it wasn't safe as there was a motorcycle coming, how do you think this is the bikers fault?? 🤦
@@smileyfacefrown2723 Entitlement comes from the fact that since Nov 2017 it became a law for other vehicles to share the lane with the motorcycle, they cannot cut off a motorcycle. Furthermore, whether the there are any solid lines or not, even if a vehicle is allowed to enter or exit the carpool lane, just like any other lane, the vehicle making the lane change has to make sure it is safe to change lanes before doing so. Signaling doesn't make it OK to change lanes or give that vehicle right of way. So, yes, the Tesla failed at multiple levels and therefor, White Tesla hit the motorcycle, not the other way around.
@2:05 How do you crash creeping along a smooth corner @ 20mph! Daydreaming not target fixation!
He panicked because it was a curve and was afraid to lean and afraid to brake. My first time on a street bike on a public road I had a similar feeling I had to forcefully tell myself, Steer/lean or wreck. I steered and leaned and after that I was fine. Every curve got easier and easier. It was the moment of doubt though it was hard. I just had to mentally push through it.

Seems like he has a death wish yeah
Bro literally what did I do that was “playing games”?

The tram always has the right of way, u need to look up when approaching the rails
Just learned how to ride, and then proceeds to listen to music while riding....
And film. He needs to focus more.
7:33 Learn to tighten up your U-turns and you won't have to ask who's at fault.
Yeah, it's a basic principle of defensive riding to buffer away from danger.
Letting people cut across filled lanes of traffic to go in and out of driveways should be illegal, really.
2:09 with speed of dying turtle it's not target fixation, you are just suck on skill.
You have to learn somehow. Maybe not on a brand new bike, but still....
@@greggrace967 I heard there's something called course, maybe there's good place to start? :)
@@marcinkalinski308 I didn't need one. Common sense and a little bit of practice. Maybe people you know needed one but 95percent of people I know that ride..... well... we make fun of guys that take "courses"... (just teasing I never even heard of a riding course in 1980 or so.
@@greggrace967 I learned alone too, but later I go on course and believe me, it's absolutely different level of knowledge.
Hairpin turns four hours after learning how to ride... what could go wrong?
I don't think that the particular corner was the problem. Any corner ought to be fine so long as you are going at an appropriate speed. But he would have struggled with any corner. He should have been practicing in a big empty parking lot.
@@dgphiyeah I got full of my self as I was doing fine in town but ended up the hard way that I didn’t know shit and signed up for the MSF course to learn hands on in a parking lot
You didn't learn how to ride 4hrs ago, you started riding 4hrs ago.
Yeah I should change that title to that then I’ll do that eventually
5:39 Here's a thought or two...1. Move over. 2. Don't be a douche. Problem solved.
Couldn't be more clear. Maybe my guy needs to take a dump or his kid is hurt and needs to get to the hospital. Get out of his way! Don't assume anything in this situation. It's a passing lane.
@@grandprixjames It's a toll lane - you're not allowed to leave it expect for at specific 'exits'. And I was slowing down for a car that was stopping in traffic in front of me. Not so clear eh?
@@SeattleSpeed fair enough.... My apologies good sir. Thank you and be safe.

Gotta love how at @8:10 the (most likely) speeding motorcyclist is actively trying to battle a truck.
That guy didn’t learn how to ride a motorcycle 4 hours ago. He learned how to ride something but it wasn’t a motorcycle. Could not make such a simple turn?
1:30 insane how he manages to "jump" the curb
5:39 literally hugging the left lane for no apparent reason and then decelerating hard... again for no reason so the car swerves to the right in order to not sit so close behind you while still maintaining his own pace.
Nah dawg, it’s a toll lane. I’m not out there for no reason. You’re not allowed to exit except for at certain designated locations. And I was slowing down for traffic that was stopping in front of me. Peep the front view.
@@SeattleSpeed toll lane? sorry, never heard about that. so you can use it because you are free of tolls as a bike? as a German I'm crazy about "Rechtsfahrgebot!!!" (using-most-right-lane-requirement) 😂 and the last front view before his overtake in the video makes it appear as if the traffic is flowing swiftly but yeah, you are coming almost to a stop at the very end
@@Simon-bu4kc yes! I get to ride in that lane toll free. And it usually zips by traffic - though not always. Plus with the restriction on entering and exiting the lane only at designated points then I feel a lot safer on the highway!
I've been seeing more deer than usual near or in the roadways in the last week or so, to the point where it's made me hyper vigilant for them. Is there something about this time of year making them more active?
Edit* I decided to answer my own question with a Google search, like a normal person. "“There's an increase in deer activity in June. The females are searching for places to give birth. The young deer are separating from their mothers.” As a result, they're more present on the roadside, so it's something that motorists need to be cautious and aware of.”
The fawns have been born and they're hungry so they're more actively looking for food, just a guess.

Video Title:"Idiots on Bikes!"
daspaniard959, most likely lane filtering. pay attention, if there is a gap between cars in front of you, it's so people can turn through that gap.
Cheers mate
Hey!
Thanks for using my clip!
I'd argue you didn't learn how to ride.
2nd clip, people see what they want to see, and they want to see an empty road with no motorcycle to obstruct their turn. Learn this lesson and anticipate this, be prepared.
I like these vids
7:31 I'm not sure how they do this where you live, but over here we are supposed to stop for ALL traffic when doing special manoeuvres. The logic being that this car most likely expected you to be turning left, not do a U-turn. Regardless of what laws you are under, as a rider you need to take care of your own safety, so IsraelMt09 would be at fault for not expecting this.
Over here and there they do but over there and also over there they don't.
No that biker is special. Road rules don't apply to him
So many of these incidences could have been avoided had the Biker used common sense & ridden defensively but it's
really hard to lay off the throttle when accelerating is so much fun...... deadly fun. TY for the video, peace
It baffles me when I see a rider wreck his bike and starts giggling as if it's funny. What's funny about damaging your bike?
You just lowsided your Ducati and have to buy new plastic for a thousand or more.. *😂 !?!
Oh hey, I finally went down too 😂😭
7:31 it’s cool he carries his own teddy bear in case of hospital visit bc of muh right of way 😂.
Ya what a 🐈. How’s that Camaro supposed to know he was gonna u turn. As far as the Camaro knew that idiot was turning left. And he didn’t even hit him and he was just rolling at like 2mph. What a baby. I hate riders so much. They give us good riders a bad name.
@@Alwaysgotthemunchies in our places stop sign mean you should stop at the edge of the road and wait until there is nobody who you can interfere with and only then go. Also biker is doing such a fat turn, I could probably make it with SUV by that trajectory.
5:36 SeattleSpeed's opening clip doesn't match the following ones. The white car he's passing turns into a gray SUV when switching from front to rear view and the rear view shows an overhead sign that doesn't exist on the front camera. At 6:04 when the camera switches back forward it seems to match up and shows that he braked for traffic not randomly with an empty lane in front of him.

1:00 - "the motorcycle hit the Tesla..."
It's true, people ALWAYS blame the biker... 🤦♂️
7:33 @isrealMt09 you did a U turn, you should go into the left lane or the middle, not the right. You were in the wrong here.
If he is from israel, than the directive is to u turn to the right most lane. This method has it merits, you clear your lane faster and easier. But he should have noticed the car and act accordenly.
@@amir9255 He is in Los Angeles, exact location 33°44'44.0"N 117°51'43.2"W. A 3 lane road, where you can easily make the turn to the middle even if you are a novice rider.
The person with the stop sign has the greater responsibility to yield to all traffic on the main road
Bike is an idiot. How is Camaro suppose to know he was gona uturn. U turns should be illegal in intersections. Cause nothing but problems.
6:36 that is why lane positioning is important.
DarkFlame386 was at T-Flats in AZ. That mountain pass is not for beginners. So many people crash or YEET themselves off that mountain every year....
It’s actually the CA-178 near walkers pass in California and this was back in 2021 and since that accident I’ve taken the MSF course gotten better at riding, gotten gear and still riding to this day. Learn that I didn’t know shit the hard way
I dont get it... Trains allways go first isnt they?🤔
If you see a truck manouvering you take a brake. . just give the guy or girl a brake! you are having fun, they are working!
Entitled truckers are the worst. They're professionals getting paid to drive, it's up to them to exhibit a higher standard of driving.
1:55 this was back in 2021 and before this I was riding around town and over thought my ability to ride took the ride where there was more people around and at the turn panicked and target fixated on the guard rail. I learned the hard way that I didn’t know shit as I learned by myself no teacher. After this I took the MSF course sanctioned by the CHP and got a jacket, gloves, riding jeans, and riding boots. The helmet I am wearing is a Sena Momentum Pro with a built in camera and Bluetooth. You can see that it is not a GoPro when I’m looking down on my shadow. I didn’t get a GoPro until after I bought gear and my second helmet. On my profile there is the original upload that’s longer where after the accident shows me going back onto that road four months later wearing said jacket and gloves with the new helmet and GoPro.
Biker was gonna confront the jeep driver until they realized it was a mail truck and quickly changed their mind 🤬😨
Well in a mail truck the driver sits on the opposite side so I woudl expect it to be harder for them to see him coming at that angle, still mail truck shoudl of made sure it was clear but I can also see how it could happen, I would have let it go as well due to that.

I am your new subscriber from Pakistan ❤💓🇵🇰💓🇵🇰💓🇵🇰
How do you get internet?
1:00 No, the Tesla hit the motorcycle. Lane splitting is legal in California in that slow-moving traffic situation, and they were doing it controlled and what seems to be within CHP guidelines (not go more than 10mph above surrounding traffic). The Tesla had the responsibility to look for lane-splitting riders, and there is an active law on the books in California that prohibits drivers from impeding motorcycles who are lane splitting or filtering.
That said, I NEVER lane split when the HOV lane has a dashed line where I assume people will be switching lanes. The riders should have held off until after that portion, but it wasn't their legal obligation to do so.
There seems to be some confusion about the definition of "hit". Let me try to explain it. If a faster moving vehicle passes in front of a slower moving one, it can be hit. If it passes behind, it can't. For any other path, the bike hits the Tesla. Greater speed carries with it the responsibility not to hit something slower. I don't know what California Law says but I do know it's not the Tesla driver's fault that the rider couldn't find his front brake.
2:40 Since when do we call tarmac a gravel road? If you want to show these poor judgment calls, why not call them out? The rider here is steering with the handle bar, in stead of leaning the bike into the turn. Gravel road ....
it amazes me that riders can afford a camera but not gloves, absolute stupidity. Basic Gear should be mandatory
