Half of these ppl can’t ride the other half complain and freak out about nothing. 🙄
It's to get clicks and views for most of them
Yep. Anything for social media.
Which one am I?
@@SeattleSpeed You are special as you are both, obviously. Freaking out over a car that passes you after you blocked him, cos you needed a 100yrd safe zone while going 30.
@@literal_lee @ ,7000 RPM, too?
04:53 "Just trying to get over before my exit" Which can clearly be seen when he is behind the black car, but instead of going behind him, he nudges himself in the buffer zone of the two cars like an asshole, then proceed to slow down "for safety", but when the car reasonably gets annoyed and passes him he suddenly forgets about safety. And then blurs the speedometer, clearly a man with safety and respect for other drivers on his mind.
And in true fashion, the narrator completely blames the car while ignoring the biker's mistakes
Bro folks don’t get to tailgate to stop people from merging. That’s not allowed.
You got what you asked for. No idea why you would, but that's for you to figure out. 🤷🏼♂️
@@literal_lee “did you see what she was wearing”
@@SeattleSpeed yeah buddy, you the dummy in this scene
Imagine tipping your bike over at walking speed, then calling over an old man from 50 or more feet away to come over and pick your bike up for you while you watch him do it.
I'm talking to YOU, stormtec.
SHEESH!
a lot of guys on here cant pickup their own bike, SMH.
If you can't pick it up, you shouldn't be riding it. 100 pound girls can pick up liter bikes...
lol freal
Seattle Sleep, why push into a gap that isn't big enough in the first place? Or having done that, defuse the situation by waving sorry, instead of slowing down and annoying the car driver even more? And coming on here to try to defend your idiot actions - come on, what do you expect? Yes, the car driver shouldn't have passed you like that but don't come act the innocent in all this, you are to blame. Learn from your mistakes (we all make mistakes) instead of denying them, you might survive longer that way.
@@markhughes189 no I get to pull into that gap. Everyone does. There is no tailgating to block people from merging.
Why would I wave? I didn’t do anything wrong.
@@SeattleSpeed yes you did and that's the problem, you don't realize it.
@@dougupah8778 Nah dog, tailgating is super uncool. This dude had a problem because I tried to merge over. That's a him thing. Nothing to do with me. Keep it pushing.
6:47 "You sound mad..." says the rider who actually does sound mad throughout while escalating the situation to the guy just sitting there & remaining calm before the rider *finally* chooses to bolt & lane-split in stopped traffic in a state where it's illegal. Can't make this stuff up! 🤷🤷♂🤷♀
exactly... what a punk.
What even happened there? No idea what the rider was going on about or why.
@@eddiethedestroyer The biker idiot got mad cause the driver honked at him to move his slow ass
This entire video shows several reasons why i dont have friendships with bikers, despite riding bikes. I want nothing but distance from these people
@@categoricamente1753 I hear you. For what it's worth, we don't all ride like this, promise. 💯
4:51 I don't want to say anything but you squeezed right into a way too short gap and the cars safety distance...
@@fgm1197 car shouldn’t have been tailgating then… not my mistake.
@@SeattleSpeed It IS your mistake if you still choose to wedge between that car, then put yourself in MORE danger when they pass you illegally by trying to take "your spot back". The confrontation is not worth your life man...
seattle speed... It's not talking about legal issues. It's about common sense and manners. Once you've made a lane change, don't do unnecessary deceleration. Just following the flow of the vehicle and go your own way. If it was safety-conscious behavior, your behavior was wrong. Safety is created through mutual cooperation. Do not give excuses to other drivers.
If you feel your behavior is correct, keep doing the same. Pray that you won't be hit by angry driver
@@i-o_o-i if someone is tailgating you then you slow down. That’s common sense.
@@SeattleSpeed It's not tailgating when you cause the situation by needlessly squeezing yourself in front of them and then decelerate. There was nothing about safety in any of your actions in that clip.
@@SeattleSpeedhave a good think about it! Pulling in and decelerating is not very clever. The guy couldn’t give a shit about your rant. Love bikers who think they’re hard just coz they are riding a bike. He might have several at home and be a real hard bastard.
7:12 People use their mirrors; they often *can't* tell just how excessively fast we're going when we ride like this I think is all. We *choose* a lot of the risk out there when we ride, make no mistake! 💯
Driving fast is easy. Driving good is the difficult part.
Damn it, That's real!
"I swear nobody uses their mirrors"....
So why are riders still surprised that people don't use their mirrors? Prepare for stupid when you put that helmet on...
And that rider was obviously not paying attention, either. His chin was bobbing up and down, probably looking at his phone on his tank or handlebars.
Stormtec blaming gravel when he just grabbed a handful of front brake lever
"What gravel?", indeed... 😅
@@literal_lee The wet road didn’t help either and I thought the gravel was negligible.
One of the first things you learn in practical driving lessons here in my country is not to pull hard on the front brake when you've turned the handlebars. This is often a near guarantee that you will drop your bike. Happened to me too once, just learn your own mistakes. But imho the amount of deflection in their explanations for sure won't help with that.
@@dadams1947 Shit happens bro, we've all been there. And - some consolation for you - if you so desperately need to crash, this is the way to do it. This only cracks the ego and not too much else. Ride safe brother.
4:47 "I just got greedy & then had multiple escalating-risk rage responses with multiple other motorists before then nearly doubling the speed limit in traffic" seems like a better explanation for this one. Saying, "this is a great example of how *pointless* road aggression can be" seems to ignore the inescapable risk the rider put himself *& many others* at throughout the clip multiple times including long after the initial risk he helped create was gone. *We* control so much of our own risk when we ride; stay defensive & stay safe instead of making negligible gains that put ourselves & others at clearly-evident risk, always. 🤔
Literally at what point did I do something “deserving” of the reaction of the car?
@@SeattleSpeed Nobody said or even implied that at all, to be fair.
@@Greydawgguy said I was the one “putting himself and many others at risk”. I completely disagree.
@@SeattleSpeed That's the frightening part I suppose is my point.
@@Greydawg nah dawg. A car bullying a bike is uncool. Btw you’ll note I handled it. We all have our own risk tolerances. We all have our own level of performance and precision. I ride fast and jump out of airplanes. You don’t have to be that fast - and that’s okay. I hear you saying that what you saw in this video would scare you… but that doesn’t mean it’s wrong.
seattle " i slowed down to give more break room" yeah as if it wasnt oh your annoyed ill go slower then kinda thing because theres like a football field between him and the car and then got pushed out and cried about it. Now what the other driver did wasnt right either but dont play the victim when you also acted up
Actually he was following at about two seconds, which is a very reasonable following distance. It looks like a lot more because of the wide-angled lens.
@@dgphi that is not 2 seconds you can barely even make out theres a truck there at one point hes miles back it was a break check and going slow to be annoying then speeding off because hes cool
8:25 Dude was trying to Fred Flintstone his big ole Harley, would have been better with the classic rear brake lock up. lol
He never heard of counter steering I guess.
3:49 Good thing he had his pink safety T-shirt on.
Now he know that tshirt doesn't protect
"Good thing I wasn't speeding" ...It's amazing how that gives a completely different outcome in the majority of situations.
Every one was operator error…failure to ride, except Seattle Speed, who was just being a dick, and I’mmAmerican, who knows how to ride.
Seattle Speed definitely in the wrong here
He easily could have merged into the big space just behind the SUV.
He is, but I feel he is a new rider.. Why in 1st gear at 30+ and he could have easily gotten behind the SUV...
@@StrawDragonto be in the power band on an inline 4.
Definitely not. The dude tailgating is. You don’t get to tailgate to stop people from coming over. And then trying to bully a smaller vehicle is big wrong!
@@SeattleSpeed Keep telling yourself that. You are in slow moving traffic, you do not need 8k rpm in 1st gear. Just like you bullied your way in front of that suv. SeattleSpew
More time spent buying gear and cameras than practicing riding.
True
A lot of these could be avoided by slowing down or rolling off the throttle earlier. Safe riding y'all. Oh yeah and maybe gloves is a good idea.

Yeah, most people in these clips have no idea how to properly ride a motorcycle (or even have common sense).
Looks like a new bike too, probably just bought it and had no riding lessons.
i thought the exact same thing, some people definitely shouldn't hop on a bike

01:07 What?
you can't try to lift up your bike on your own in the first place?
If you can't pick it up don't ride it. Simples
I don't have much sympathy for him. I had a crash and broke my ankle and managed to pick my bike up and ride 180 miles home. If you can't do it on 2 good legs, not much sympathy.
yeah that was hella cringe, bro calling over a 50 year old man to lift up his bike
2:30 Extremely lucky that the rider didn't slide into that car, that could have been fatal. Don't go fast if you don't know how to brake without falling!
Speeding right into the back of police cruiser...
@@volvo09 If that was a police cruiser that made that stop and those cones they should get some new safety training and a huge fine. There is a reason why you have to put warning triangles minimum like 100m away from the stopped vehicle if the speed is higher than 50km/h here (Sweden). Its illegal to not have one in a car.
The riders are idiots for racing on a public road but that roadblock should absolutely not be there without signage.
I'm guessing the guy was fixated on the rider ahead and forgot to consider that it was a public road where traffic occasionally stops. He probably realized she was braking too late to also brake himself. It's really easy to panic and lose efficiency with your riding skill in that situation. She did great avoiding the stopped traffic after being rear ended and he did alright not raging.
He could have got run over by the black car in the oncoming lane if they didn't slow down. Where was that cop anyways? I think the guy int he vest was the tow truck driver.
No cap, if I was that cop I'd be handing out stacks of tickets to both bikers.
@@Isaac_132 The cop can only realistically assume the guy was going too fast. Being rear-ended in stopped traffic is not the fault of the one getting rear-ended. You gotta be pretty heartless to ticket either of them.
2:22 "Keeping your distance is important," that's true, however these riders all wiped & nearly hit a marked first-responder *with traffic cones* exclusively because of excessive speed on a public surface road is all. 🤔
Traffic cones right next to the vehicle, thats the dumbest shit possible and at least here would be very illegal and the police would be liable for anyone hitting them. Its legally mandated to carry a warning triangle in a car here and it must be put minimum 100m behind the car if the speed is 50km/h or higher if stopped in the road.
Riders are going too fast but you cant just park a police cruiser in the middle of the road without warning signs that are clearly visible thats stupid as shit and should be illegal.
Drivers in your country must be pretty bad if they need warning triangles 100m away to not run into a marked police cruiser with its lights on in broad daylight.
@@ARCNA442 You realise you are watching people crash in "your" country because the lack of proper signage. Hell ask any emergency service person anywhere and they will all make sure to put up as early warnings as possible. Not to protect the idiots but themselves.
But sure relying on only "good" drivers seems to go so well for everyone else, while we have some of the lowest traffic fatalities per capita and mile driven in the world.
This year I celebrate 40 years of road riding. Getting close to 60 now and still love to ride, be it at a slower pace to enjoy the scenery. Best advice: If you’re going to make a mistake (as we all do), keep an eye on the speedo and an eye out for trees, light poles and blue flashing lights (of course).

Dude there’s nothing wrong with merging.
@@SeattleSpeed Who needs a 100yrd braking buffer going 30? Can you even ride? Dude you were a PITA to the car driver.
@@literal_lee car in front doesn’t get to bully bikes. That’s the problem. Closer he gets slower I go. If he tries to do something really crazy then I will speed out of necessity as is seen here. But that won’t win him anything either.

4:49 It would all have been good if he did not force himself in between and then "create room". Just merge behind the grey car, all would have been avoided.
PLAN your ride
No, The problem is the car tailgating trying to stop people from merging. Then getting aggressive at a smaller vehicle he knows he can hit.
@@SeattleSpeed He was far ahead, motorcyclist accelerated to be able to force himself in between, then started driving slowly.
More elegant solution would have been: merge keep enough braking distance and not irritate the grey car. That is called defensive driving. What he did was aggressive driving, also demonstrated by the aftermath…
@@Mus.Anonymouse y’all keep blaming me for the actions of someone else. That’s wild honestly. It’s not my job to appease angry people. They need to manage themselves.
@@SeattleSpeed why blame someone else if you yourself can prevent it without annoying or endangering others?
@@Mus.Anonymouse because you’re not allowed to tailgate to stop people from merging. That was the cause of the issue. I didn’t do that. The car did. Then got mad when I came over anyway. That had nothing to do with me.

These are newbie problems. First guy dumped his bike at 24 miles an hour because he couldn’t lean over the second guy couldn’t turn into the area he was at maybe you guys shouldn’t ride.
I'm always surprised to see how less bikers know how to get their bike up again after they hit the ground.

@@dopeytripod no lean applied either... Someone needed more practice in the parking lot.
First guy almost saw final destination.
A crucial tip for so many of these slow-speed wrecks is *don't lean at slow speeds;* just turn the front wheel & sit back on top of the center of the bike as best as possible. 💯
Yes. I was taught to weight the outside footpeg in a slow turn. It really helps to stabilize the bike.
@@5891jonathan It's a good lesson. I think people forget even the most essential basics often when they get accustomed to riding at excessively fast speeds more easily, so to speak.

Clips 1, 2, 4, etc., A good tip when riding at incredibly slow speeds is *don't lean* but instead sit straight up & turn the front wheel. I think a lot of times, like in clip 2, we're riding so fast we're compelled to even hide our speed but the riding is more escapable because we can lean the tires into the surface of the turn, but at slow speeds we do it on accident from muscle memory & have these kinds of crashes or lay-downs because we forget the very basics of riding any 2-wheeled bike outright is all. 💯
Clip 2 there was no gravel. He was just going too slow and the bike fell over from leaning too far over
@@terryrobertson111 Good point, for sure.
All these people who think they can ride fast but they can't even manage the clutch and throttle well enough to ride slow...
SECOND one wasn't because of gravel... he used the front brake while having the handlebars turned lol
Stormer tried to blame gravel on his lack of riding ability!
4:52 - if you're "just trying to get over before your exit," why not merge behind that Subaru instead of squeezing in between him and the Nissan and forcing him to slow down? You created that situation and probably looked like a complete asshole from his point of view. And then you decide to harass him afterwards and again pull in front of him for no reason? You're going to end up a hood ornament one of these days.
7:13 - you can see the car is drifting across the line and decide that you're going to undertake it anyways? That one's on you. If they had been using their turn signal, it would have been on long before you tried to pass.
4:15 well thats cringe.. drive like a fool and sooner than later u will end up looking like one too
