Where does the MNR filter get Installed on the Waterdrop 800g with the UV System? Before the UV (so water feeds from the MN into the UV filter), or after the UV filter (so water would go from the UV filter then into the MN filter before coming out the faucet)????
Would there be a problem putting the housing box in the basement instead of close under the sink? Will the waste line still work? I don’t have room under my sink.
I’d like to know the best way to winterize or store this unit when not in use over the winter. It’s installed under the sink in my cabin where temperatures will fall below freezing. Should I remove the whole unit and store in basement (where it won’t freeze)?
Hi, thanks for reaching out us. After completing the registration online, you could choose the accessory kit as a gift, which will help you connect the RO to your refrigerator. Since different refrigerator/ice maker have various requirement of water pressure, it's not possible for our RO system to provide them all. Connection under mismatched circumstance may result in many problems, including but not limited to: slow ice making, frequent start-stop issue, etc. Therefore, it's NOT recommended to connect the RO system to your refrigerator/ice maker.
Multiple how long it takes to fill a glass x # of glasses to fill container. If it can filter however many gpd. It can filter a gallon. Just takes a minute or 2 or 3 or....😅
Depending on what you buy and your preferences, can be far better. Some very expensive systems can remove so many impurities that you'll need an additional system to reintroduce certain minerals much like what many bottled waters do. Really depends on the area you live in first and foremost for your needs.
So I'm guessing I need to drill a hole in my granite to get the RO faucet installed. I don't have a precut hole for that in my sink. Any advice on that?

Because I have a disposal, there is no room on the vertical drain pipe. Should I put the drain collar on the horizontal pipe after the p-trap? This is a 1 1/2" abs pipe. Will the collar work or does it have to be on a 1 1/4" pipe?

@Sean Reed I just went with a zero watcher gallon pitcher due to mixed feelings on the whole RO process. But I agree with you on the fake reviews, I wouldn't buy this.
@Sean Reed System works, TDS meter doesn't. It will crap out on you or flag false readings. It should always be Sediment, Carbon and then RO filters as far as replacement go. It triggers Carbon early, then nothing else but the TDS meter show 100-200 readings, with no prompt to change anything. Wouldn't trust the "lights" or intervals. Just Replace the filter as a normal RO would be done.
