      @@ryhu4755 I understand and wholeheartedly agree with your position. I think we are watching the same game but I’m in the bleachers and you’re in the dugout. I’ve been in those shoes and made it work and ended up thriving. Albeit I’m in a different industry but still lacked adequate and competent leadership for almost a year. I realize had it not been for my mentor I would not be at the level that I am now. But before he came along, I would research and study up on relevant practices and terminology at home and it saved my ass. No, you can’t call yourself a craftsman from googling techniques and how-to-dos. But it keeps you moving forward to the goal.
      So, I think we have more in common than not but to the same token the knowledge is out there for us to seize and make our own. Ill be dammed if I slow my pace for the old head to warm up to me or think I’m worth a damn just to get a little hands-on guidance. I’ve felt and still feel the bitterness I’m perceiving from you. You don’t even need Teflon tape. It’s counterproductive. The hose has a rubber gasket. It’s similar to your garden hose. Pipes that screw in be it metal or plastic that don’t come with a rubber gasket is when you apply Teflon tape. And yes it goes on clockwise.

The black carbon coming out of the faucet is a sign she either broker her membrane or installed the drain water to the faucet. You'd have to wait 5 mins for a glass of drinking water.
      The system fills the tank to full, which your faucet draws from.
      The tank is filled slowly but because you have a lot in there, you'll have more before you get to the bottom (unless you leave the faucet on for an absurd amount of time)
      It fills even when you aren't running the faucet.

    hi, when I leave my apartment is there someway to plug the hole that is drilled for the drill saddle or can I use the garbage disposal dishwasher drain port for the drain? also I plan on just leaving my cub boards open and just lay the air gap faucet flat on the counter. will that work? ghetto I know but I'm leaving here soon and want to just buy a GOOD water filter that's GARRUANTEED TO FILTER MICROPLASTICS

      You could just replace the plumbing where you drilled the hole for the drain saddle when you leave. It's a pretty easy fix. Or like you mentioned place the drain line in any existing drain port. Just make sure the line is secure or you could end up with a mess.
      Yes, you could do that with the faucet. If you are just renting then I don't blame you.

      @@uswatersystems my plan is to use a gasket and hose clamp to patch the small hole in the drain pipe when I leave. If that doesn't work I can patch with a bit of PVC pipe. I'm just a single guy who lives alone no kids so should be fine just running the faucet hose out the cub board doors and laying the faucet next to the sink

    Poor explanation of which line goes into which port. Do not recommend this video for initial installation.

      We only sell the filters on Amazon, atm. You can find our RO systems directly on our site though: www.uswatersystems.com/drinking-water/reverse-osmosis-systems/under-sink-reverse-osmosis

    What is the tank for? Does it have gas or what kind of pressure is it?

    • @uswatersystems
      @uswatersystems  2 роки тому

      The tank stores your drinking water. There is an air bladder in it that occasionally needs to be refilled to maintain pressure.

      RO systems create clean water slowly.
      The tank allows it to create and hold lot of water while you aren't running the faucet so you don't have to wait 5 minutes for a glass of water.

    the 1st step should be to turn the water off that leads to that faucet ! There are a lot of stupid people out there that would not realize this and then panic when they flood their kitchen lol
