- Overloaded container rollover recovery in busy intersection. This container loaded with 48,000lbs of boxes, loaded overseas, took a HARD tumble on a busy intersection in the middle of the day. The local police department called their local towers, while the owner of the truck called me directly. Thankfully the other towers were cool enough to pass over the call to me, which I handled with our 75ton rotator, Big Flipper. I was also joined by the one and only Dave in his 40ton rotator, and Hector in our 50ton wrecker.
The absolute beauty of these rotators, besides their strength, is their versatility. Being able to park in the same side of the street as the casualty, without taking any extra lanes, is a wonderful thing. This video is short because from the time we positioned our trucks, maybe 20min max had elapsed. Quick, easy and efficient as all our other jobs.
►All footage was shot with my Sony FX3 using a Sony f/4 24-105mm lens. I also edit my own footage using Adobe Premiere Pro.

Daves truck looks sick in the sun...excellent color combo!! It's always a joy seeing guys who truly know their craft do it with utmost efficiency:-) This is the first container that I've seen you do that the load didnt have to be counterbalanced so it would ride level after uprighting it. A great job as always guys:-)
no counterbalance needed because it was STUFFED with those boxes... didn't look like room for a toothpick

I guess the driver just would not wait for the next green light or for oncoming traffic to clear. You guys moved this rig so fast that I could tell it would be a Pepe's short video. Funny remark: Container rest in peace, more like rest in pieces. I thought the trailer tires would pop from all of the weight on them. Have good days!

Many years ago,in Dallas,I was coming home from work behind two loads of what turned out to be drywall mud and roofing nails. The mud truck lost control on a dangerous turn[at freeway speed],followed by the nails. I pulled off when I saw that the trucks were not going to make it,but many slid around and ended up on 4 flats. I made my way to the embankment and climbed it to a parking lot thanks to 4 low. Watch out!!!

At one time I considered drive a big hook or oversized looks challenging.

None of that would negate the face that hulk is my truck lol. Sometimes the job is too big for hulk and I need to be in Big Flipper. And I’m never in another rotator besides these two
A few day's ago a fire rescue truck got rear-ended by a semi truck at an accident in Delaware, the company that moved the rescue truck didn't even use a catch when they put it back on it's wheels, NOT a very professional job,
