This was recorded for PBS and the whole concert is on Video. I was there for the show just loved it. The sad thing was a young 19 year old was chosen first but because of copyright they couldn't finish her out for the video. This was a retake with Charlene which was great but the younger lady had a superman tee-shirt so they had to retake the video. There were a few retakes but this one was especially sad for the young lady. ((Life Happens)) Again, Great show.
That, THAT'S the sad part of all of this. There is a copy on video, eh? ...betamax or vhs? Lol. Just kidding. It's 2023, I'm 43, and I used to think the best part of the CS show was the theme song. Bit kinda feel like these are the kind guys that sell albums by being child entertainers. Like, they probably toured w Mr. Rogers, or Sharon, Lois and Bram
I got to know who these guys were mostly because of Carmen Sandiego...but later on, I did recognize the original lineup (Sean, Scktt, Elliott and Barry) from the Folgers coffee commercials in the '80's🙂😍
Yes, Sean left Rockapella in 1997. This concert was recorded three years later in 2000. Kevin Wright (the guy in the green leather jacket) replaced Sean, but then left Rockapella himself in 2009.

@@xiuwenlee5208 I was able to get the backup vocals for the 1st and 3rd verse, but not the 2nd. Thanks so much! I was going to transcribe this by ear, but I couldn't discern the background lyrics for that one part, so I gave up. With your comment, I finally have all the information I need to complete my transcription, so again, thank you so much!
Barry was there ...but he had frosted blond hair 🙂 Who was it that was introducing the song / speaking? I thought it was Elliott at first until whoever it was said "Elliott" 😕
@@sweetlife031 That was Kevin Wright who was introducing the song and speaking. Kevin took over as tenor lead singer after Rockapella co-founder Sean Altman left the group in 1997. This concert was recorded in 2000.
There’s a much better version that keeps getting taken down because people end up stalling the girl in the video…Shame though since it’s so much better than this version
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. John 3:36 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 Jesus Christ is the only way, seek Him while He may be found, before it’s too late, tomorrow is never promised.
This woman played the Rockapella game better than any other. KUDOS to her!

I'm guessing Sean Altman had left the group by this point?

Is duece bigelow the lead singer??

How many couches did they destroy to make those suits?
