@@malocchia I was just thinking this! 37, soon to be 38. This popped into my head and I just had to hear it again. Dang catchy-as-heck jingle! 😅 Unsurprising though, considering how much Rockapella I was exposed to as a kid. No matter what they did, they always killed it! "Do it Rockapella!" 🔎
Just turned 39 last week and woke up this morning with this in my head! I hope the ad exec who signed off on this commercial got his money cause he did his job that’s for sure
davewhs99 OA ~sigh~ the best commercials back then were always so amazing back in my Childhood. I’ve been searching for this song for a long time and now I finally have it back. 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹
Well, I was in my fifties, idly watching reruns of reruns of the Andy Griffith Show, the next episode was coming on, and the opening sequence (which I had heard literally my whole life … I was the same age as the character of “Opie”,) - anyway it got to the part where it shows Andy and Opie walking down a country road, with their fishing poles, headed for the lake … while someone whistled the theme song, and that thought you just put into words hit me like a ton of bricks. I was suddenly much more aware of the true gravity of the loss. My childhood happened in a world, a reality, just like Mayberry. Yes, it really was that innocent, naive, transparent, altruistic, and SAFE. But suddenly I realized that I don’t go to bed and close my eyes in that world any more, … that world is gone, and it can’t come back, no one can un-do what was done … not until Jesus returns, anyway… so I just sat there on the end of the bed and cried. I cried the same inconsolable tears that a little kid cries while he waves goodbye through the back windshield to all his friends that he will probably never see again because he’s moving far away… or the tears that fall when there’s no panting, tail-wagging welcome home greeting when he gets home from school, or there’s no familiar soft purring kitty in her favorite place, waiting for her simple scratch on the head …. All because a family pet passed away, or had to be euthanized. I think almost everyone has cried those tears at some point in their distant past, and remembers just how profoundly a child can experience loss. Even now, I can’t dwell on it very long, or I’ll soon be headed for having a very black day.
sorry to be offtopic but does someone know a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb lost the account password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me.
Ah, NYC in the 90’s. My childhood. This was right after Sean left, but I still remember being super excited seeing Rockapella doing a mainstream commercial after their Carmen Sandiego days.
Childhood commercial. I must have found this catchy back then and I still do now. I saved it in my head as a core memory and when UA-cam was a thing was able to find it again. Now here I am again! Love this song!
2024 and Rockapella is still active however, the tall guy that sang bass retired, which is a real shame. This commercial has great energy. A more innocent time.

I have loved this song for decades…. I used to get drunk as a teenager and blast it and thrash around the house… my one friend hated coffee and it made him furious and that made it more fun for me to do it harder..😂
First step: Get some gasoline.. 2nd step: Light your raggedy ass overpriced, overhyped iphone up, burn that shit. 3rd step:buy android, best phone money can buy and then only then you can get this as your ringtone.
Pretty easy...... convert to an MP3 then download onto your phone as iOS ringtone format you should be able to find a web-based site tool that will do that
Maybe. S-VHS had better color than standard VHS, but I don't recall that it had better luminance resolution - and this appears to have noticeably better luminance resolution. I might buy betacam.
I never really noticed before, but the gentleman in the light tan shirt (goatee) is in frame as the only one not moving his mouth a number of times... This can especially be seen in the very end shot where they finish the commercial. 4 of them are singing/mouthing "...in your cuppppp" but he is not doing any apparent singing. Something must have been up for that to happen during this shoot.
However many years later, I still catch myself singing this as a 38 year old man... Damn you Folgers!
25 YEARS!!!
Yup same here! 37 years old.

How does this not have a billion views? Favorite commercial growing up.
Seriously! Best commercials back then!

Carmen Sandiego!
Why the fuck do you think a billion people would search for a coffee commercial
My fvorite too! That song still makes me happy!
Folgers will help you find Carmen Sandiego!
😂
She did steal the (coffee) beans from Lima!
Now you’ve got me wondering if Mrs. Olsen was working undercover for the Acme Detective Agency while doing all those commercials.
😂😂
You Doggone right about that!
Pre-9/11 America...How terribly I miss thee. :')
Honestly. I miss the simpler times 😪
And now the younger generations will say the same about pre-COVID America!
I felt this comment. I was 8 when 9/11 happened. Maybe it was childhood but there was a distinct difference before then.
@@ishington It happened a month after my 12th birthday; it isn’t just childhood.

I don’t even drink coffee, but I’m in love with this song
Me too, I’m an 18 year old autistic Texan and I’m so nostalgic about this and many other jingles.
Well maybe you should give this coffee a whirl!
This was the closest coffee and Carmen San Diego came to being the same thing.

Probably 30

my childhood commercial of choice lol
You're getting to old for this shit
Ohh boy it's So refreshing to find old commercials with catchy beautiful jingles ☕
FAVORITE commercial of the year! WISHED Folgers did MORE commercials like these!
Always loved this commercial. Never knew the 1st version existed always ever heard the 2nd. Thanks for the upload.

The best part of waking up is watching this commercial.
Seeing these side by side, it’s amazing noticing the amount of things that can been added with an extra 15 seconds.
Who remembers radio stations on commercial breaks would play the sound bite at 0:50 on Folgers ads?
Takes me back to my college days...loved the commercial, but don't ever recall seeing the :45 version. Thanks for sharing!
Crispy af, feels like i'm watching it as I did as a kid. Thank you for this upload.
It's through this commercial that I found out Rockapella is an actual singing group and not just part of Carmen Sandiego.
2024 and Rockapella is still active however, the tall guy that sang bass retired, which is a real shame. This commercial has great energy. A more innocent time.
Dude... Love how clean dis is!
Scott mother fucking Leonard. What an absolute tenor legend.
Thank you again for providing this Clean copy of this classic song and video. It was like Christmas all over again. Thank you!
My opinion the greatest Folgers commercial ever.
The best Folgers commercial hands down
One of the best commercials!
Oh my OA this commercial reminds me of my Childhood every Day it always came on I sang to it silently I love it!!!! 😂😂😂😂
Still in love with this group's TERRIFIC version.
LOVE IT... Yes, FOLGERS was favored back in the day
I don't even like coffee, but these guys make me want to go out and buy some Folgers!
I’m 36 and this song lives rent free in my head and I’m happy about it
I' m student of english languaje. Discovering the amazing history of United States. This coffe represents you perfectly. God Bless América
Gosh. This song IS coffee and tea and everything good. The best pick me up!

Every day I wake up
I pour myself a cup
Of that rich Folgers aroma
The best part of waking up
It's the doo-wop doo-wop
In all I do
The mountain-grown aroma
Always commin' through (always commin' through!)
Oh the best part of waking up
Is Folgers in your cup
Now I'm right in harmony
With that doo-wop doo-wop di dee
Whoa, one more cup and its a who-wop shoo-bop for me
Oh, the best part of waking up
Is Folgers in your cup
The best part of waking up
Is Folgers in your cup

This is the version of the Foldger’s theme that lives rent-free in my mind.
Mine too!
Do it Rockapella
Commercials will never have time for a key change ever again
This is GREAT video quality! And music, of course.
Had to watch an ad to watch this commercial
I never forgot this commercial as a kid
"The mountain goat aroma".
It's grown not goat
@@lita8617 Yes, but it was a joke.
*sniff sniff* Ugh, smells like goat in here. Well, now I’m awake.
Here after seeing Elyse Myers’ rendition. Had to come back for the nostalgia! ❤️❤️
one of the best commercial songs ever... this still haunt me....
My new FAVORITE commercial.
Great find, thanks for uploading this!
Man this commercial used to come on all the time during Saturday morning cartoons lol this was my ish
Damn Owen Wilson CAN SING!
I remember when life looked and felt like this
I'm an odd one out, it seems! I distinctly remember both commercials, though most of what you heard were the 30 second variants.
Best. Commercial. EVER!!!
Thanks for the dose of nostalgia.
Really great, love it!
Who's wa-wa-wah watching this in 2020?
It is so good it makes me want to try intermittent fasting with Folgers and it has bought a condo in my head.
Nice transfer. Clean audio and image.
I recognized Rockapella as a kid, having watched “Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?”
The best song for the worst coffee.
Best coffee commercial ever
One more cup and it's hoo wop she bop for me!!
2023 😎👉🏼 the whole song is my favorite, But at 0:50 the harmony and ending is the icing on the Cake.
I dig 0:27
2024 😎👉🏼 still coming back to this Banger!
Boyz II Men needs to do a Folgers commercial!!!
These guys are Pentatonix's Dads. (jk jk, lol)
I’m not from USA, actually I haven’t even been abroad. But this gives me a hard nostalgia for no reason
They should definitely bring this back and leave it, it's better than the brother/sister romance commercial.
Folger commercials really have a good beat to them
i have this for my 3ds theme, very pleseant!
I love Rockapella! B-)
Simply the best! ❤🎶❤
How do I make this into my ringtone to wake me up on iPhone 8😂
Love Like a Hurricane I’m still waiting for an answer from someone 😂

awesome quality, thank you!!!
Miss it...😌!!
Thank you energy master.
Yeah, that can't even be a first-gen VHS. :-) Thanks much!
I think its a S-VHS

Absolute Banger 🔥
Ok... since 3 years ago when I thought this was amazing, the audio is now 10-15 seconds behind the video; huh?
Man I could go for a cup of Folgers right about now…
The best part of waking up is... Carmen Sandiego.
Using this song an a sobriety event that uses a lot of music and tasked with doing a wacky set so this is gonna be one of the songs!
Ahh.... memories.
Nice!
That's what they did besides Carmen San Diego.
Don't forget that Spike Lee movie.
@@andrewparke1764 thanks... I just watched most of that and a episode of Carmen.... Lol
Thanks bunches
I just had a Mandela Effect moment. I'd swear the line went '...I pour myself a cup of that mountain-grown aroma...', not 'that rich, Folgers aroma.'
My Late Cousin Abigial Folger R.I.P She Will Pour You’re Cup
We still don’t know where Carmen Sandiego is, guys. Get back to work.
Do it, Rockapella!
This is the world I want to live in...
ikr? This was the New York all of "Seinfeld" and "Friends" lived in back in the late 1990's. I couldn't Imagine anything to screw that up😐
Now that's class 😊
Is that Agent Bilkins at @0:29?
Yes it is...from the Cold Case TV show. Lol!!
