Thank you 😊 I have tried knitting several times and have given up. I watched you several times and have practiced knit and purl stitches with different kinds of needles. Now I will try to make the scarf.
This is great! I’m also a crocheter for years and I’m fairly a new knitter. Can’t imagine English style knitting..can’t really follow but continental comes quite natural to me. Very hard to find continental knitting from American knitters actually as far as tutorials are concerned. So I’m really happy to have found this tutorial! Thanks for sharing! 💜 :)
That was a ton of fun! This is my first time knitting anything and I'll admit, I got a little frustrated at the beginning but once I got the hang of it, it was smooth sailing. You were really easy to follow and very helpful, thank you! I now have a nice scarf for Fall/Winter. 😊
I just found your channel. I subscribed and have ordered supplies to knit the scarf. I have never knit before but your clear instructions and video make me want to try. Thank you.
Hi Bonnie, It is 5am. And from your video I learned to knit a scarf. You demonstrated the use of the co tinental knit stitch. Wow....so much easier for me.😁
I have been teaching myself to knit and crochet. I made my first blanket for my niece who is 6 months old and now I want to try to knit I know the knit stitch and the pearl stitch but I want to make a scarf and I want to give it a little more design than just knit and Pearl. So thank you for your time to teach people how to do these kind of things you are so appreciated
Hello Bonnie so glad for this pattern I am starting to become a knitter I know the basics but I have a lot to learn. In fact Jennifer says when I get going I am going to love it more than crochet - I don't think so but I want to get there. lots of love from South Africa
Ann Papadopulo ha ha! Yes, we’ll see about that!😂😂 I am loving knitting, but crochet will always be what I adore in the fiber arts!❤️❤️❤️ Take care Ann!
The scarf is so pretty!! You are such a great teacher ❤ I'm so excited to try continental knitting! PS, can this scarf be made on straight knitting needles?
Question: what is the wire for?? I would love to try this..looks simple enough. I have a few of those really long crochet hooks, would those work?? Tyfs God bless you
That's an excellent idea Radha, but it may be some time before I would be able to do that. You may want to check some of the other knitting channels to see if you can find the technique you are looking for.

Sure, you can certainly use straight needles too.
