I'm a beginner knitter and found cables too intimidating..yours was the first video which clearly explained cables and I had this gotcha moment.. I've finished my first repeat and it came along nicely.. thank you so much! You're an awesome teacher..
Hello, Thank You, I've always been intimidated by knitting. You just showed me how easy it is. I've seen others show how to knit and they made it look really hard. But your tutorial is so easy. I'm going to use my knitting needles now that I bought sometime ago to learn how to knit. I will be making this. Thank You.
I have tried knitting but just cannot get the hang of it. I either make the stitches to loose or way to tight, lol. I love watching other people do it though. I am good at that. Some say knitting is easier but I beg to differ🤨. Tyfs God bless you
@Debbie Mcclure You CAN do it :) I am also primarily a crocheter, been doing that since the age of 7 and in a month will be 53. I decided to teach myself to knit when my grandson was born 13 years ago, I too, had the same problem with tension. What I did for practice was, if I was knitting too lose I went down a size in the needle and too tight, up one size. When I felt comfortable, I tried a simple washcloth, then, moved on to hats. I hope to one day knit a blanket and a sweater. Crocheting, I can whip those out lol.... Knitting, I still need to find my groove with which method is faster for me. trust me, If I could learn you can too! :)

I hope it works out for you Gail, and please don't be afraid of making mistakes as you go. I find that is the best way to learn!
I'm sorry, I JUST LOVE THIS. ITS AMAZING.
Love the pattern for the scarf iam going to try it thanks
Looks like a good project for first time working cables. I like to knit but mostly crochet.
Thank you Bonnie, as I'm still learning to tackle crochet, I think I'll put this on the back burner for now. You are a great teacher ❤️
Thank you Claire. No rush my friend, believe me, I truly understand.
Best video
Hi Mrs Bay, I cannot find knitting projets on your website, as you tell at the beginning of your video. Thanks for your tutorials.
They are on my home page on UA-cam. If you hit the playlist tab at the top of the page, search for the knitting playlist and it will come up.
I love this pattern. I am new to this and I am having trouble with row 20. What is the pattern for that row? Thanks for posting this. It is great!!
That would be the same as Row 9 Karen.
Would love to do a blanket with this cable pattern.Do you have a pattern for a blanket?
Not yet, but I may have to start one soon!

I agree with you Debbie! I think it all depends upon which we start with and what we grow comfortable with.
@@BonnieBayCrochet this is true..
