We are first to make the ugliest combination possible because of price constraints. I am waiting for the day we will be relieved of exorbitant taxes and overall poverty. For example look at wagonr in sri lanka and wagonr in India. Indian budget cars are ugly as sh*t. Only koreans put little effort and maybe honda city in design.
I think apart from the unique design distinction, coupe SUVs are being launched by TATA, Mahindra in India because there will be EV variants too. For an electric SUV it makes a lot of sense to do Sloping roof line. It’ll be more efficient and offer better range.
I believe, the success of Suzuki Fronx in also a reason behind the increasing popularity of coupe SUVs. Moreover, I don't really think it is due to companies trying to create unique designs. I think the straight forward reason is, We Indians appreciate to look premium on budget.😂 That's also the reason why many cheap smartphones are being released with camera module, dynamic island similar to iphones.😂😂

Tata Tigor bhi kuch aisi hi h, but overall sedans ka market hi shrink ho gya h.

With the launch of Nexon, Tata was already planning to launch Coupe next. But the market wasn't ready then, now as always TATA has championed the art of being a first moving trendsetter ❤
