They only have a black and a grey. That was it! That was when I had a second thought. So, I went to it's competitor - The most ugly looking hatchback - Elite i20. By the way I loved the i20 first gen face lift more than Polo. Nothing, I just took a look into the interior of the Elite i20. Man! it was so bright - Beige interior with grey dashboard top. Then the rear camera, the smooth gearbox, the extremely smooth ride, the spacious rear seats, the super quiet engine, the sound dampened cabin. It was love at first sight. Polo sales guy was offering 5.7 lacs. Elite i20 was close to 8 lacs. I booked my Elite i20 then and there. Without a second thought. 9 years and I have lots of memories and adventures with the car. I still ride it once in a while. It is still smoother and quieter than my father's Honda City VX automatic.
