Why have such cheap suspension on such a nice car? I own a near stock '04 WRX and I have coilovers that are 2x the price of yours, I heard a lot of bad things about BC coilovers from a lot of different car owners.
I personally think the blobeye impreza is the best one. The bugeye looks weird. The 90's models look really good, but they are often rusty as fuck. Also they lack airbags, which is sort of a big deal if you prefer to stay alive. The hawkeye looks ugly again, and the 2.5 liter engine in those is objectively worse than the 2.0 liter of the earlier models. And everything after the hawkeye is just modern overweight ugly as fuck trash.
The blobeye has the best engine, one of the best looks, it's not too old to miss important features, and it's still nimble.
That is the wrong way to close that hood.
