Great videos! love your car man! If I was to go JDM and pick a performance AWD car, i'd pick an STI for sure, build it and put a Big turbo. Right now i own an MK5 GTI with a swapped MK6 Golf R engine and a Big Turbo (Precision 5858) stock Golf R internals and mafless custom tune. So far it's holding well and strong. Hoping to go AWD conversion on it as well. Btw, what video editing software are you using? Love the quality of your video edits! Thanks!

I don't know how cops tolerate a bit of driving full throttle where you are in Cali, but here in Toronto, Canada where I am it's zero tolerance on speeding, so while its nice to have my car around the street, it's just hard to enjoy it because all these cops are everywhere :(

Keep the car at all costs will be worth a bit in future when SUBie goes hybrid or electric. We already are in a recession, most of the world just has not felt the direct impact as yet. Save some money and if you have extra then do spend it as you have to live your life. Thats what you work for.

STI owner here. At the very most, I’d opt for the WRX instead. Work on driving skills and how to maintain a car rather than buying an STI (or any sports car for that matter) and crashing it because you couldn’t handle the power or handling, or God forbid something major breaks and you’re shelling out $$$ because you didn’t maintain or drive the car properly. If you’re under 21, these cars aren’t the cheapest on insurance, either.
If you plan to modify it, keep in mind that parts and tuning can add up pretty quick, too. With the exception of a catback exhaust, spark plugs, fuel pump, and maybe a TMIC, just about everything you do to the engine will require a tune, as well, which is typically

Just recently picked up a 05 STI. The gearbox seems very sloppy, a lot of play in the gears. What short shifter kit and bushing should I get?
Looping - kartboy is my favorite for shifters and bushings. Torque solutions is an okay cheaper option.
