haha your video has motivated me to dismantle my dyson at 5am , and soak it in a tub . hahaha i was procrastinating cleaning up, then i saw your cut the edges of it... after cutting it then i was like ok , time to just dismantle it all . THANK YOU SO MUCH
OH MY GOD!!!!I was so frustrated after installing new battery on my Dyson v8,still after minute or two started to trip again! so i changed different attachment to it, surprisingly worked perfectly without any tripping. Then I LOOKED INSIDE THE MAIN ATTACHMENT WE USUALLY USE TO VACUME THE HOUSY, SURE ENOUGH IT WAG CLOGGED UP WITH SO MUCH DIRT WHICH I HAD TO PULL THEM WITH A WIRE CLOTH HANGER! NOW IS WORKING JUST FINE,
The amount of times you slip with that blade and jar towards yourself, do you not think to swap to cut away from you? lol 2:33 you nearly slice into your thumb, and not the first time. Not the world's worst injury but it'll sting for days and need a covering for most of a week, which is a major annoyance at best, and a real hindrance to some people's jobs. Not bitching for any reason other than your vids are informative for those not in the know, and safety should really be a part of that. Otherwise, thanks for the cleaning tips, pretty useful!
I disagree. The best hack for a dyson vac is to throw away the battery and convert it to makita lxt lol. Mine lasted for a couple of years until the wheel exploded. Motor was still good though so replaced the weak little motor in my first gen makita vac with it. Now that will suck the chrome off a bumper.
