- We completely gutted and renovated a 1976 Coachmen RV into our perfect tiny home on wheels! This was a completely diy camper van conversion, and boy was it tough! After removing and repairing all the moldy and decayed wood, we built her back with some awesome features!

to fix the aluminum.. I would go to a small airport repair shop and ask if one of these guys wants to do some sheet metal work on the side... just obviously source the material first

Does yours have a switch for the fuel ⛽ tanks? Mine did and I think it got messed up.
@@fujastar those ford transfer switches are notoriously bad.. Just plum in another system.. Not a big deal
I'm still in awe of all the work you did, and how Clementine has turned out. About those minor damages on the outside, remember that there must always be a small blemish on a great beauty, to make the beauty look even better!

For the safety of her electrical system, please, please purchase and use a surge protector whenever you plug in. Most RVers use them and believe they are worth it. Happy travels!

I LOVE your vintage camper reno! It has so much personality and style. We are full time RVers and we opted for an already built travel trailer. While it certainly has some nice conveniences, it is pretty boring as far as the finishes go. You all make me want to start changing it up ;)

So glad you enjoyed this! We kept putting off the full tour because we always had "just one more project" to get through. 🤪 But we finally realized that all the major pieces are in place, so it felt like the right time. We're still in shock every time we look back at the demolition phase...we can't believe we actually got here! And that you all stuck with us through it all 😅🙌

I watched every episode of her renovation and I’m seriously impressed ( I’m a tradesman ) You achieved a standard of quality that many tradespeople I’ve seen haven’t/couldn’t. Very impressive work and your videos are enjoyable especially because you’re a decent fun couple. I hope you both and Clementine come to Britain as those early videos of your British visit is how I found you ( and I’m glad I did ) You were both very decent and complimentary about Britain which sadly a lot of Americans are not ( even though a huge number of American families originated from Britain so you’d think we’d have respect for each other ). If you can get ahold of a machine shop they might be able to make some Chrome caps for that part where it's damaged, to conceal it. I used to work in an industrial environment and they used to to make things all of the time and they could make something that would fit over that and you never know it was damaged.
You two need to host an HGTV show about RV home renovations.

Have you thought about a Lagun table as a solution to your living area? You would have to cut off a sliver of that beautiful drop leaf table you already have, to make room for the leg. I don't know if they have one with a drop leaf. But at least you can pull it off and store it sideways during travel. I absolutely love the versatility of mine.

I'm curious as to how much it cost in total to renovate/rebuild everything in Clementine. I would love to do something like this one day. It looks like a LOT of work but the end results would be so rewarding because you end up with something that is exactly like you want and is perfectly suited to your needs/lifestyle!

They spilled the beans in a Traveling Beans video. They gave up keeping track at some point but estimate $20-$30k. They also paid $4k for clementine.
