I agree that this guy deserves more love. The Mandalorians were arguably at their peak under him and don't forget the Republic had more men, ships, weapons and the Jedi yet under his leadership they would have conquered the republic if it wasn't for Revan. And they did it without Sith or a super-weapon.
Should've invaded Hutt space first and taken over, it's strategically useful and at the very least gaining control of the Hutt network would be a plus. And wiping out most of the Hutts would just be a added bonus. Hell taking them out would gain a lot of species willing to join, the Hutts are considered a blight by many.

It's absolutely crazy that the reason Revan was so effective against the Neo-Crusaders was because he employed several self-crippling risky and straight up inhuman strategies and tactics to win while putting the entire Republic's industry on war economy.

They went from the most feared warriors in the galaxy to having a duchess that wouldn’t shoot a guy threatening to destroy her along with the ship she’s in even when the gun had a stun setting.
In my opinion that shows how big of an ego she had and how full of herself she was. The Mandalorians constant feuding wasn’t due to their violent culture it was the lack of a strong leader to lead strong willed individuals. She wanted to turn them into something they weren’t. That’s arguably worse than what Death Watch did seeing as they just wanted Mandalore to be strong and powerful and able to protect themselves like they used to be.

Wish we could've gotten a series based on this instead of the Acolyte. I feel like it would've served the current Star Wars cinematic universe so much better. It could ride off the hype that the Mandalorian created while also introducing a new era to the cinematic universe, as the first live action depiction of the ancient republic. It'd be so far back that they wouldn't have to worry about canon as much, while at the same time having an endless amount of legends content to draw inspiration from.

Except that Revan did give the mask to a Mandalorian between the events of Kotor 1 and 2. He gave it to Canderous Ordo. Canderous is the Mandalore we see in kotor 2. I'm also pretty sure that Canderous didn't lose the mask and that it was passed down. If it ended up lost between the events of Kotor 2 and SWTOR, then one of his successors is more likely to have lost it.

@@NatyaVT He got it with Revan in the "Revan" novel, which takes place between Kotor 1 and 2. Also, back then, it wasn't possible for to hold the Mandalore title without having the mask. He needed the mask to become Mandalore. Obsidian not designing the mask the same way as it is in the other parts of the lore doesn't make it not the correct mask (due to it being needed to be Mandalore, period). The way I see it, he either modified the mask or just added a coating above it(essentially wearing it under the armor we see in Kotor 2).

Wish we could've gotten a series based on this instead of the Acolyte. I feel like it would've served the current Star Wars cinematic universe so much better. It could ride off the hype that the Mandalorian created while also introducing a new era to the cinematic universe, as the first live action depiction of the ancient republic. It'd be so far back that they wouldn't have to worry about canon as much, while at the same time having an endless amount of legends content to draw inspiration from.

Mand'alor the Lesser rises through Sith machinations, he is later slain and succeeded by Mand'alor the Vindicated, who dies fighting the Eternal Empire to his last breath. His successor, Mand'alor the Avenger (aka Shae Viszla) still lives as of SWTOR 5.10
Except that Revan did give the mask to a Mandalorian between the events of Kotor 1 and 2. He gave it to Canderous Ordo. Canderous is the Mandalore we see in kotor 2.
I'm also pretty sure that Canderous didn't lose the mask and that it was passed down. If it ended up lost between the events of Kotor 2 and SWTOR, then one of his successors is more likely to have lost it.
@@sancturillore Canderous held the title, but like the other successors after him he never possessed, let alone wore the mask. Unless they conveniently forgot about it during kotor 2
@@NatyaVT He got it with Revan in the "Revan" novel, which takes place between Kotor 1 and 2.
Also, back then, it wasn't possible for to hold the Mandalore title without having the mask. He needed the mask to become Mandalore. Obsidian not designing the mask the same way as it is in the other parts of the lore doesn't make it not the correct mask (due to it being needed to be Mandalore, period).
The way I see it, he either modified the mask or just added a coating above it(essentially wearing it under the armor we see in Kotor 2).

i would have to argue with you that the person that ended up getting the mask (think he took the name mandalore the preserver?) was a great leader for his people to. he wasent someone that tryed to conquer everything but instead worked on other things instead that the mandalorien realy needed at that time.
