Everytime I say the name of Ruby, I think of my grandma too! That was her middle name. I hope that it brings you pleasure when I talk about the truck and say the name Ruby. Have a great day!
@@primeredisbest I know it's a late response to your video dash cover replacement how did it hold up I would get one but like to know how it holds up thankyou
It held up good! But I didn't take any chances with it either. I kept it in a garage on hot sunny days and used a windshield cover when it was out in the hot sun. The other option was to not glue it down. They fit really well and it is hardly noticeable that it not glued down. Good luck to you my friend!
We were impressed with the dash cover! I started not to even glue it because it fit so well! If I buy another one, I might not glue it! It was a really good fit and didn't move or anything! Let me know how yours turns out! Good luck to you my friend!
Thank you! I think that it made a big difference too! It should look good when the silicone has dried and the books are off of the dash. I will be showing that in tomorrow's video. Thank you very much for watching the video!
I done my coverlay dash exactly like you did. Mine didn’t turn out well. It looked really good at first, but after about six months it started coming loose and warped really bad.
Eduardo It might be a little pricey, but you can take yours to a upholstery shop and have them re-do it.. I want to have mine done in the leather look with the stitching like comes in new trucks..👍🏼
Mine warped. I had to do it twice and even the second time it warped a little. I do live in Sl Paso zo the heat might be the issue. Nevertheless... I'll save up and just get an OEM expensive one in the near future.
Yes sir I really like using COVERLAY Products. Made my truck look so much better! I have used these products on a couple of my trucks already. If I can help you, let me know. Just watch the videos on installing the dash pad and the door panels. Thanks so much for watching the video! I really appreciate it! Thanks buddy!
Boy u tell u used mig weld....... ❤️ u better put dat toung in for ya bite it off😂😂😂 your pretty good boy!! Yea Wright singer!! I guess that’s why u weld for living 😂😂😂
Thank you for your kind words! Well do far, the plan is to take my seat out of my 1978 Chevy C10 Stepside truck and swap them out. I will be doing that very soon. I need new carpet now but I need to save up for that. Thanks buddy for your comment!
I wish I could answer that question for you but I have never run across that problem before. So to be honest, I just don't know. But you could always just put the dash cover on your dash and not glue it down. It would still look good and be able to remove it if you want to. Hope that this helps you buddy! Thanks for your question!
Well I don't know if they do or not. But they have a phone number that you can call if you want to. It is: 1-800-633-7090. If you do call them mention that you seen my video on UA-cam. Good luck!
Well it held up pretty well. Of course, I sold that truck a couple of months ago. And I kept it in the garage out of the weather. But the Coverlay done very well and dressed up the interior too! If you do buy a Coverlay dash cover, make sure that you only put the silicone that they provide in the areas that they suggest putting it. Don't put it in the middle of the dash cover or it will dry and make a hump in the dash cover. My friend done that to his and let was noticeable. Good luck to you my friend and thanks for your question and for watching the video! Let me know if I can help you any further! Thanks!
@@primeredisbest Thank you for your time your and video. I'll let you know how it turns out. But that was a nice truck. I hope you can find another one 😟

Hopefully that won't happen on mine. Thank you for your comment. I will keep an eye on it.

That’s messed up, do they have any kind of warranty about that stuff?
Wait what! I was just so inspired in purchasing one of these overlays. but now I'm thinking second thoughts about warping. Thanks for the heads up.

So once you put the cover lay on, are you still able to take the dash off without damaging anything?

Does Coverlay make parts for S10?

I don't know for sure buddy! Thanks for your question my friend!
