Funny you mentioned Thom York. Of all the bands that have, “made it big”, Tool and Radiohead are by far my 2 favorites…….. and yes that typically means I’m a guy in his mid forties who’s starting to get old man syndrome and bitch about where all the good music went, lol. You’re welcome ✌️
Same. I’m 41. Have you listened to sleep token yet? They mix genres well and their last album Take me back to Eden was a masterpiece. Definitely check it out if you hadn’t. At least listen to the first two tracks, you won’t regret that
Obviously the audio quality of the live recording doesnt match the studio record, but gdamn does Maynard put on a performance portraying addiction right there, 10/10.
Maynard doesn’t blink. Ever. At some of their older concerts he used to pick a point, sometimes someone in the audience, it seemed, and stare at them, like nonstop while performing. I’ve heard, but don’t know if it’s true, that he did it to cope with significant anxiety being on stage.
I saw TOOL 3 times back in this era of the group, including once in a small club. I can confirm, Maynard never blinked once the entire time. He was looking at the crowd, but he wasn't seeing anybody. To this day, this is why he likes to hide out at the back of the stage with minimal lighting on him at their concerts.
So, now you two have to watch the original Sober of what it used to be and how it evolved... 😄 ua-cam.com/video/zdREH1BqGDk/v-deo.htmlsi=LiPtTXBvwLYWuVYL
Maynard ROCKING the Pink Onesie! ✌️
Paul D'amour's bass is very good but Justin definitely took them to another level.

I'm 42 and have never felt so old when reactors have said they were not born in 1993 😂😂😂
Im 26 and saying this so dont feel bad, its not an age thing its a truth thing.
I read in a article that he wanted to portray an alcoholic having withdrawals during this performance. Whatever he's doing I love it!!
It’s worth mentioning that the bassist is not the same since this album. Everything after has been Justin Chancellor.

This is very early in their career and it is nothing compared to what they are doing on stage now. Their shows are insane!
I get to see them for the first time next month, and can’t wait
I think this is actually from 1993.
Have you ever looked up their first recorded show? Maynard was on a rampage lol
Nice to see you back man. Missed your reactions. ✌🏻
Awesome video guys. Can't wait for Pneuma

That is his form of zoning in and focusing on the music... No anxiety. Just into his focus.

You guys should react to Third eye live. Maynard’s performance is unbelievable
When are you going to show her the Danny drum cam of Pneuma? Nevermind, just heard the end of the video. lol
Love the reactions…wanted to point out you have some weird phasing issues with the music audio though.
These two should be reactioning Justin biebier
Hal Val seen Adam's official stop motion video yet?
Every singer I've seen react to this mentions his posture. Any thoughts 🤔
Long distance running served him well.
Can’t believe you’re laughing - talking about his shorts? WOW
Yeah... after all.. isn't his attire the most important thing??! ugh..................
These two have no idea people
