I saw him live twice last tour. Patrick Fuckin Keeler is one of the best drummers I have ever seen live. Dam can the man hit the skins like some of the best ever in drumming. The Racounters are bad to the bone. They take Jack to the next level shit.
@@PMurray2694 well I only know those from your mom's collection. We listen to Willie the pimp while I fucked her. By the way tell her I said she uses to much teeth.
love how jack's really into the music and puts on a good performance. But it makes me chuckle a bit in this video when at about 3:40 he just jets right off screen like his guitar just took him for ride. lol!
Carolina Drama was part of this but you can't find it on youtube anymore, probably cause it's the best performance of it ever. Just google "raconteurs carolina drama live from the basement" and you can watch it in all it's glory on vimeo.
man some people just cant enjoy music neither to watch other people having success, both musicians Jack and Dave are fucking awesome!! it would be lovely to watch them both to do something
Reasons why this video is sooooo amazing. 0:07 LJ's Rick, 0:27 therein action, 1:00 Patrick's drum beat intro, 1:19 Brenden and Dean vocal, 1:56 Jack's entrance, 2:23 "Sympathy" to Jack head bang, 2:50 Pat and LJ shot, 3:12 harmonies, 3:18 OH ITS ON NOW! to Jack-o-spin, 3:31 Brenden and Jack solo epicness! 3:43 BASS SOLO!, Not to mention how amazing the song is.
Wonderful series of uploads, thanks. Might be LJ on back-up vox during the intro. I think its Dean Fertita on keys - does backup (falsetto) for the Carolina Drama clip.
@deathtrack15 yeah, it really makes the song. I'm glad it was just that one verse, they didn't try to over do it. Keeps us wanting to hear it over and over again.
You see this as classic rock on steroids? I can see that. It's fun to imagine songs out of context like that. Sometimes I imagine what it would seem like if a song was released by a different artist. It changes the context in a way that I think influences the perception of the song. Raconteurs live = rock! I know that's true at least.
The first time I saw Jack White was in "Shine a Light," and my first thought was that Mick Jagger had brought his kid onstage to sing and play with him, and that he was not bad at all.
@dogwater2742 Gretsch custom triple jet, its not made by gretsch really. But by a luthier randy parsons. Its got cow skull insides, a solid copper top and the middle pickup is really an MXR booster pedal.
its like sort of half a thermin. cutting out the bit where you can change the note and leaving the bit which changes the attack. matt bellamy had one on his black manson.
When a group of musicians bring the best out of each other you get stuff like this.
I love the way jack just bursts into the verse
So aggressive and emotional with just the right flair!
I thought that was jack white.
patrick keeler's probably the only drummer in rock right now who's achieved that bonham sound and feel to a very close degree..great stuff !
False
Well add more to the conversation than that, man.
I saw him live twice last tour. Patrick Fuckin Keeler is one of the best drummers I have ever seen live. Dam can the man hit the skins like some of the best ever in drumming. The Racounters are bad to the bone. They take Jack to the next level shit.
jon theodore my mane
Jon is his own kind of awesome. Patrick is old school bombastic.
I love both.
Man, I miss this band
can you imagine how big this would've been had it been released in 1975?!
They would've either loved it or hated it...but I'm betting they would've loved it.
I suggest you go back and take a look at frank Zappa. Willie the pimp is where I'd start or 2+2 by bob seger.
@@PMurray2694 well I only know those from your mom's collection. We listen to Willie the pimp while I fucked her. By the way tell her I said she uses to much teeth.
@@nickburleson9555 the 2+2=? Riff is rlly similar to jacks riff wtf 😱
NO
Quite possibly one the greatest Rock and Roll bands this generation has ever seen..
I want to listen to that little drum beat at 0:06 all day.
God damn it Patrick, stop blowing my mind.

love how jack's really into the music and puts on a good performance. But it makes me chuckle a bit in this video when at about 3:40 he just jets right off screen like his guitar just took him for ride. lol!

I fell in love with Jack White
Same brother, from the first day I knew about him.
I'm in shock!

rock out!!!
RACONTEURS!! COME BACK!!
1:56 - 2:31 best moment in musical history
@ryanfonts I noticed that when I saw him play with The Greenhornes opening for The White Stripes in like 2005.
Jack is just so wow
We need rock again
i luv that little spin jack does at 3:23 this was really good.
there should be a dvd "The Raconteurs Live from The Basement"
Absolutamente acojonante, Rock sin colorantes ni conservantes, puro y duro
I'm sorry, this whole performance is sex to the tenth degree. Fantastic.
Man, I need some new Raconteurs music now!
its huge now!
this tune goes directly into my "St AndreasV Playlist"
The base player, very underrated
@deathtrack15 totaly man... awesome
I just love the Patrick Keeler style of drumming... delicate but deadly!
jesus what a lame comparison! Patrick is a shit drummer
Epic
these guys have really good timing.
@RedRainIII Perfect set up...
yeahh
damn...jack is the man.
Oh my god. That's the basement of my dreams.
@MultiQuinnifer
It's a Custom Gretsch Triple Jet...they renamed it Triple Jet III after Jack had it modified.
@klrc0 no, it's a custom guitar by a Seattle luthier named Randy Parson
It's simple. The White Stripes will always be the best 2 person band. Period. The Raconteurs are probably the best 5 person band going right now.
This song had the capability of being the rock anthem of this decade. I don't understand.. Why wasn't this released as a single?
i love inebriated music
You see this as classic rock on steroids? I can see that.
It's fun to imagine songs out of context like that. Sometimes I imagine what it would seem like if a song was released by a different artist. It changes the context in a way that I think influences the perception of the song.
Raconteurs live = rock! I know that's true at least.
@laggy967 thanks!
that too. THAT TOO.
Why I gotta be a decade late to the party 💀💀💀
Dude,fr.
The first time I saw Jack White was in "Shine a Light," and my first thought was that Mick Jagger had brought his kid onstage to sing and play with him, and that he was not bad at all.

proper music!!
i agree, jack whites style is awesome!
Farout Jacks screaming vocals at 1:58 are awesome!!
1:55 feeling it !!!!!!
Jack's part in the middle is the best part. It fucking rocks!
sweet, he's using a zvex probe pedal. those things look so awesome.
@RedRainIII good eyes/ears dude!
its like sort of half a thermin. cutting out the bit where you can change the note and leaving the bit which changes the attack. matt bellamy had one on his black manson.
Comically good at two minutes when Jack comes in screaming like a maniac.
