Jack looks like he's having so much fun. Good to see these boys back together. Their music is great
or high on heroine according to the recent news
@@lucaserojas yeah he was joking about that. If he was on heroin he wouldn't be jumping around or full of energy like he usually is. Read something other than pitchfork
@@oaklandstreet2617 heroin is a downer
Lucas Rojas if you think someone on heroin is jumping around like that, then you’re an idiot. Jack White doesn’t do any drugs because he likes to know that the music came from within him, not something else.
OAKLAND STREET I don’t think y’all have ever done heroin...
That "YEAHHHH" at around 3:20 from Jack says everything about him. He lives for that moment, and we are so privileged that he shares it with us
Man, that was amazing! Livin’ his best life right there!
The audience was not ready for that amount of rock.
Better than Johnny depp
You right!
THAT'SPUUUUNK MOFOCKUUUUSSSSSS
we were not ready for covid. go away you damn sickness
Not for realbut eock aint good for shit without some kind of roll! Rolling right along😂😂😂😂😂🤔
In another life Jack was an electric guitar.
:)
I love how unapologetically raw this is.
Detroit-style. Very nice.
It's not raw.. Its so well produced to sound raw
@@akshayde this is live
Should Rock'N Roll be anything less?
Your right 100% it is raw!
Jack: I don’t like to have fun on stage or really go too crazy
Also Jack: ^^^^^
@@AndyTolly123 No.
🤦 no.actually he fully admits that he puts as much into his performances as he would want if he was watching his musical idols perform. To me, it's live musical sex..
Just noticed that Jack's three main projects are now themed around RGB colours- The White Stripes are red, The Raconteurs are green and his solo work is blue.
And his label "Third man records" are yellow!
Thanks polyphonic
Love your username! I was just remembering today what an amazing album Hesitant Alien was!
The dead weather is also kinda yellow
Jack white G A M E R C O N F I R M E D
I dig that Jacks wearing a Cramps T-shirt.
Joshua Jung, ouch! But, kinda what I was thinking too.
Don’t care where he got it, it’s a nod to all of us who know Jack’s roots.
@@ChrisPolinsky - 😂😂😂😂 His roots? He is a f#&kin' poser!!
A lot of early White Stripes sounded like The Cramps.
It's a design for The Mants that someone slapped a Cramps logo on. Check out The Mants!
Inject that “YEAH!” Into my veins
Jack White really productive these couple years...
Decades...
Century...
Eon
little bit
Since about 1998 yeah.
JACK WHITE, SAVING ROCK'N'ROLL ONE TUNE AT A TIME:)
@Noir Spectre that's Dean Fertita
The present rock scene is thriving tbh. Lots and lots of diverse rock are coming. Lemon twigs, Greta, Thank you scientist, and etc.
@@paulnottherealmccartney8558 i KNOW you did not just say GRETA as in greta van fleet..
@@danielyourestillachad5542 oh no i mean greta van zeppelin
Don't forget the newest Black Keys album
Is it just me or has Jack White just loosened up over the last couple of years and is now having a ball. The album is lit 🔥so many influences, whist still being unmistakably Raconteurs.
More like having a ball and a biscuit.
@@gav6189 let's just take our sweet little time about it
I think he's a made man!
Really though, this album is incredible. So diverse and yet unmistakably The Raconteurs
When comparing the two shows of his I attended in 2013 and 2018, he definitely has loosened up. Last year's show was epic!!
Damn I want this album! Has that 70’s hard rock vibe and I love it!
Target has it for $9
@@selfportrait8079 Is that a joke?
because he copied rory gallagher just the smile
@@LeeVing88 is THAT a joke??
@@jadonlyons4079 No.
"Thank you, Brendan,
Thank you, Jack;
The Raconteurs, everybody,
We'll be right back!"
seems like the other members didnt deserve a handshake from stephen
@@perskaudu
My point was that Colbert is a poet
but he don't know it.
What an opener for an incredible album!!
One of the few that can do this type of rock that I can enjoy.
What are the others?
Carl, please. What are the others?
went to see them live 3 weeks ago, they played this song that nobody in the crowd knew at that time...then Jack smashed the microphone over the stage after singing the fourth line and everybody went crazy from that point til the end of the show :D Please go see them live if you can! I so wish they'd come back in Europe again, and again, and again *_*
Got tickets for the second Detroit show. Detroit bored and razed.
which show (where and when) was that? im hoping i can find some footage of the show
Stephen's joy when he walked over, at the end, was EVERYTHING. I bet he'd been standing with John Batiste and the Stay Human Band and they'd all been rockin' out off camera! 🤘 🔥 🎸
Too bad the crowd ate heavy dinner right before the show.
Kamil Sarna the audience just doesn’t like weak music. And distortion on the mic that makes what you sing unintelligible... I would feel comfortable in my chair too.
You're not supposed to cheer or do anything really during a tv performance like this.
@@couchman184 So you took timeout of your life to click on a link to a band that you clearly don't like - for the purpose of complaining? That seems pretty... weak.
saw Jack White was still rocking, made me happy
Sky Ponpadung Amen to that.
Yesssss
Been thinking of picking up a ticket to their tour but wasn't sure I wanted to drive 3 hours to LA or SF to see them but after this video I have no choice, I MUST GO!
awill891 did you see their 1st night. They were there 2 days SC said.
ua-cam.com/video/ds2gXvwX1BY/v-deo.html
Shows in Aspen next week capacity 450 people, not sold out if you can swing it.
Did u go?
I'm just so happy for Brendan. Loved tiny spark. Been a fan since.
I have tickets to their vancouver concert and this just got me SO PUMPED
Savin’ Rock n Roll. Thanks Jack and the boys...we need this.
John Barger Amen to that.
it's incredible how this band reflects perfectly a balanced mix of their personalities... happy to see dean fertita on the background also!
Jack is one of the hardest men in rock.
Next up..Hopefully a new Dead Weather album!!
3/4s of the dead weather are up there already so....
Still missing Alison
Yes!! A new DW album would be incredible. (Like the Raconteurs, but prefer the DW)
I'd also like a new Hello=Fire album... and another Brendan Benson album. And a new Greenhornes album would be nice.
@@Genious. keep on dreaming
The chords right after the intro riff (and once Jack hits the distortion pedal) are A-D-C-G-E-A, in case anyone is keeping track.
Has anyone else noticed that Jack's shoe game has been 🔥🔥🔥 these past couple years?
Yeah what shoes are he wearing
Gabe The Warlock these look like the Nike React Element 55’s in red
@@gannonm8678 his boarding house Reach shoe game was so fire. Do you know what those high top black shoes he wore were? I think they had white soles as well
@@jonathangillis4926 might be thinking of his Adidas Originals F 1.3 Pk Primeknit boots?
3:20 that will do me
Solid, glad to hear this sound from them now
My favorite album from them for sure. Awesome stuff
Jack is a genius.
This song comes on like a slow building storm. Fantastic.
I don't think I've ever seen Jack in tennis shoes, have I? He's always so well dressed, it seems sort of shocking that he owns Nike's.
Wait till ya see him in a dress..
this just gets me even more hyped to see their show in Milwaukee. Im so glad I bought tickets this is going to be something special.
dj johnson Lucky Dog! The Raconteurs, Sprecher 🍻 and Usinger Bratwurst. My idea of a great summer’s night in Milwaukee!
I love getting my face absolutely melted
This sounds so great. Jack is such an amazing musician 😌
Rock on! So good!
Omg just speechless - the best
Just a smidge of early Led Zepp, and some of the late great Rory Gallagher. Good old fashioned Rock'n'Roll!
The intro and big chords remind me of early to FWT Kings era Rush. Especially live with these cranked amps.
And there's some Sloane influence (Jack's dad is Canadian Scottish) so that's way more of an alternative vibe to me.
Listen to Money City Maniacs and Underwhelmed by Sloan to hear it!
Another insanely hooky Sloan song with great multiple vocal parts, about cities...
m.ua-cam.com/video/w57MtEtyWUA/v-deo.html
@@j_freed really? as a rush fan I know the album your talking about, didnt quite hear the similarty but interesting observation though.
That intro riff is taken from Rory Gallagher, for sure.
@@RMoocher so is the melody, Rory's name should be added to the writing credits.
So good !
Saw Jack White at the Chicago Theater a few years ago. BEST show I have ever seen!! I have tickets to see him with his talented Raconteurs at the Fox in Oakland in July. I cannot wait. Jack White is amazing!!
Great to see them back together! and the album is really freaking great!
Love that garage sound
Omg I love Jack! You are so hypnotizing to watch.....such a badass
he truly is...
They rocked the heck outta that place. Can’t wait to catch them in Detroit in a few weeks!
Amazing!
I fell asleep early that night but, thankfully, I set my alarm and woke up to watch this. If anyone has ever scorched that Colbert stage any more ferociously than this, please provide a link so I may see it for myself. That was incendiary!!
This is one of my favorite songs on this ablum
So much guitar...singing...energy...rocknroll...so much talent...what a pleasure
I love this

Good ol dean on the keys
I’ve been listening to the cramps more than any other band in the last few months! One of the most fun punk bands ever!!!
"Thank you Brendon, thank you Jack!" I think Steven enjoyed this. Who wouldn't? Great song, can't wait for the new tunes!!
Sounds great live!
Jack White digging deep into his MC5 roots, love it. I can hear some Rob Tyner influence in his voice. Real, Raw, Rock n' Roll power 🤘👏
Everything is sooooo damnnm green!!!!
I love how Brendon slurred California at 1:27. Haha! But srsly can’t wait to see them later this year.
