    Yeah dementia is a problem. I was beginning to to lose my memory and I was taking Losartan for High BP and my memory was getting worse and worse so I stopped taking the Losartan and my memory immediately started improving. I also am trying to limit sugars and carbohydrates big time, and my memory seems so much better!!!

    It’s sad, but most people simple don’t care to change their behavior/diet even if it means preventing/reversing disease. I’m going to share this video with some family members but I don’t have much hope that they’ll even bother to watch it. It’s like watching a train wreck in slow motion and there’s nothing you can do!

He even misled you on mercury poisoning in this video where he's literally being paid to endorse products. He makes millions of $$ and can afford the best medical doctors and treatments in the world. Can you?

They see that I’m doing great but don’t want to do as I do. I’m 54 years old and many ppl think I’m in my late 30s, early 40s, PRAISE GOD! I have had to cook for for a young 35 yr old relative who has brain cancer and diabetes from her CA treatment. So I started eating her diabetic diet with high protein and even less carbs, because I’ve been learning to cook for her. My big belly is gone, lost 15 lbs, my arthritis is improving. Now I need to work on digestion, still an issue.

    I had brain cancer, which destroyed part of my hippocampus. Hippocampus damage is responsible for dementia and/ or alzheimers, according to Google.
    I've learned that if i study things/ repeat things over and over, I'll remember it.
    I told my friend to give my 3 words and I repeated them for a few minutes. Now, a month later, i still can't get them out of my head. (Light, yellow, envelope).

    I absolutely believe this and am trying to change my diet and lifestyle. I am in my 50s so time is critical. What I’m so concerned about is the very large amount of Alzheimer’s and brain disorders in my family. So many and their offspring for generations. I know some of them ate well and couldn’t be so many with it. It is very concerning and feels scary. My mother has the very angry kind and is in memory care. It is devastating.

    I can relate and strong believe is functional medicine, but this should be taught at a young age........Diet is relatively easy as you can choose what you eat, but you have to know your food sensitivities (everyone is so different). I have this down to a 9.5. Exercise sort of the same. 7.0...... Long term stress is many times outside of our control due to life circumstances (sick family members, accidents etc....). Nearly everyone experiences trauma at some point and many experience long term trauma which can eventually cause memory, sleep loss, cause anxiety, depression. Trauma and sleep are related. Sending love and peace to all.

      No! The best food for the brain are walnuts (which need to stay refrigerated) and are great snacks in small quantities. Sticking to simple foods that aren't processed adds to the quality of anyone's life. Treat them as hypoglycemic and don't let their blood sugar dip in the afternoon. You'll see more cognitive issues with these dips. 5-6 small meals has shown improvement. Also, learning is a boost along with happy social interactions. Look at memory care day programs, if they are reputable. The best is Opica in West Los Angeles, CA. There may be others around the U.S. but study Opica's model as it's exceptional. Also, there is a high rate of caregivers who care for dementia patients that get dementia themselves. Make sure you're prioritizing self-care. Hyman is not a board certified neurologist nor has he ever contributed any published reputable research studies that could advance dementia at any age. He sells products and this video is an endorsement for products he gets paid to sell. It's all a business to him--in a friendly sort of way. He can afford the best doctors and medical treatment in the world. His bragging about correcting mercury poisoning in this video is not factual. NIH published a study that shows no scientific evidence that the treatment he claims to have "cured" the client of is true. It's a 21st century yoga loving snake oil salesman while promoting his products and other company's products. my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/23420-mercury-poisoning

      Dr. Mark Hyman is correct . Listen to the entire video and listen to videos by Dr. Dale Bredesen for more details. The patient Dr. Mark Hyman spoke of that reversed his dementia had a genetic susceptibility and still got better. There multiple reasons you can have dementia including B12 deficiency , low thyroid, too much ETOH, low on healthy fats , heavy metal toxicity. You may be eating any ultraprocessed foods. Check the added sugar on any packaged foods you eat and keep total of added sugars to 25 grams per day. Dementia due to genetic predisposition can be helped but don't wait. Get evaluated by a doctor trained in the Bredesen protocol. Also thin people can still be insulin resistant and diabetic/ prediabetic. Good luck

I appreciate the free videos which I follow and I have benefited immensely. But it is the stress of dealing with a primary doctor once a year who pushes statin drugs and other medications to treat a symptom, instead of the real cause.

    Processed foods have too much SALT, OIL and SUGAR in them. SOS HELP.

    • @ShushanLily
      @ShushanLily 11 місяців тому

      Processed foods are CHEMICALS. Intentionally to make you sick "profit when sick" SALT is good for you, you need it but NOT the white Mortons Table Salt,< that should be banned the bleaching mechanism causes cancer, diabetes AND heart disease as does bleached enriched flours. Celtic Salt and Pink Himalayan are FULL of minerals we need. Most don't know this but Our bones are MINERALS little Calcium but MOSTLY Minerals these two NATURAL SALTS are loaded with them, research health benefits of both. ALL oil other than Organic NON GMO Coconut and Extra Virgin Oil Olive are the only oils I use in our home. Bleached white sugar lick C&H DEADLY. If you bake only use Organic NON GMO Cane Sugar, they taste the same but don't cause harm IN MODERATION as they are not bleached. ALL FAKE SUGARS SHOULD BE BANNED, they cause Brain Cancer and Alzheimer disease. Good rule of thumb if its boxed, canned, Frozen pre fab food, Ice Cream, Packaged. ITS NOT FOOD ITS CHEMICALS. If you can't recognize it, DON'T buy it. What is a Hamburger, thank about it, how about a Hot dog> What is it. NEVER buy Chemicals. BLESSINGS
